Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Being a leader came with certain perks. Everyone had to listen to you, people asked you for advice, and he could get an auidence with whoever he wanted. Sure, the dark Maine coon couldn't just get the SunClan leader on his whim, but he managed to set up a meeting by sending a patrol to their border. Between all the different communications, it took awhile, but he finally sat in the gathering place. His tail was curled around his paws, and his green-hazel eyes scanned the desert territory in wait for the smaller leader.

Littlestar had a lot on her plate, but when a leader from another clan called upon you for a meeting refusing them wasn't easy. She had heard through the grapevine that the new moonclan leader was an arrogant young cat, and she half a mind to stand him up and continue on her merry way. However, in the end she decided to go. Making her way to the gathering grounds alone, her fur decked out in pain and braided with beads. The symbol of her rank emblazoned on her forehead "Ravenstar" she greeted. Simple, sweet, short, to the point
"Littlestar." He returned the short greeting, but did not let the silence stand for long. "Remember when you sent a patrol to MoonClan's old camp a while ago?" He paused. "I was the cat who guided your cats there. I saw what happened there. I want to know what caused it..." He had done his best to forget that day, but he still had nightmares about it. Between it and another event, he had lost the inner peace he once had. "Start with telling me about the cats who appeared out of the mist..."

"And why would you think that I know anything more about it than you do? After all you were there for the attack, while I was not"
While she didn't say that she didn't know anything, neither was she admitting to knowing anything either "I was told about the attack of course. It was terrible... Magnoliablush almost died that day, though she is recovering slowly. She has lost her tail, which is something that even I am unable to heal. The accounts of the attack I received were rather hazy and conflicting. Perhaps you would like the shed a little light on the whole situation. You said that you saw cats in the mist?"
His eyes narrowed. She was playing games with him, huh? That's the angle she decided to take? How typical. Maybe this one would be as bad as the last leader. "Clearly, your warriors are as blind as bats. Guess its the blind leading the blind then, hmm?" A rose to his paws and began to pace. "Ms. Crazy clearly could hear things, so I assume she told you about the kid's cries? They seemed really freaked by it. Not saying I wasn't, but they really thought they heard that Oakshade guy." His paw tapped anxiously against the ground as his inexperience began to shine through. "After that, those cats appeared. Now, be better than the last leader of your Clan and actually tell me something you've done about it. I'd assume a competent leader like you did something about the cats who hunted your Clanmates down, or am I wrong?"

LIttlestar simply listened, watching as the young cat paced back and forth and tapped his paw on the ground. Impatient, and clearly not thinking their words through carefully before they came tumbling out of their mouth. Her lip curled up slightly in amusement, it reminded her a lot of herself when she was his age. Thrust into the role of leadership far before she was properly prepared for the role "Ravenstar, word of advice from one leader to another" she paused allowing a brief moment of silence to settle between them
"Insulting the cat you are seeking to get information from is a rather ineffective technique. There is nothing stopping me from ending this conversation right now and returning back to my own clan with you having learned nothing" she rose to her paws, with a shrug of her shoulders "I came here as a courtesy to you, nothing more. When you are ready to speak to me with a little more respect, than we can continue this conversation at my convivence"
His blood was practically boiling underneath his skin. How dare she? She was the one who decided to play games with him, and now he got the blame for it? Not on his watch. He wasn't going to let his Clan get bullied more and that started with this she-cat. "Sorry if I'm a little short with the Clan who chased my Clan from its home and colonized. Sorry if I'm short with their leader, who sent cats to die on my territory." His voice dropped into a low growl. "You owe me for what your Clan has done. You killed a generation of kits be sending them to live in the desert! That is not going to happen again under my watch." He voice simmered down until his anger just simmered in background. "You're not going to cost me any MoonClan lives, I swear on Selene above."

Where as Ravenstar simmered with anger and fury, Littlestar was calm and collected. There was no hatred in her gaze, but perhaps a touch of pity "I'm glad to see that you are passionate about your clan, MoonClan has needed a leader willing to dedicate themselves to making MoonClan strong for a while now. Perhaps if MoonClan had you all those moons ago, the clan wouldn't have been forced out of their territory with such ease" it was blunt, but honest. Both a compliment, and a clear sign that she wasn't going to be pulled into an argument with him
"As I previously stated I owe you nothing Ravenstar. The things you accuse me of happened a life time ago, save the patrol that I sent onto MoonClan's territory to give closure to those grieving with permission from Marvelstar. She and I had already worked out our differences, and put the past where it belonged. In the past. I suggest you do the same. It happened far before you became leader, and I am not the same cat I was in that time" she didn't deny the accusations or make any excuses, though clearly the young leader didn't know the whole story, there was no point in even attempting to change their mind
"Ravenstar, I came her in good faith, fully intending to share what information I had about the attack in order to save lives. SunClan, MoonClan, it doesn't really matter when facing down something with enough power to destroy all the clans. I had hoped that we could work alongside one another, but it seems to me that you are not all that interested" the silver queen turned her back on the MoonClan leader, and began to walk back toward her territory before peering over her shoulder "Just remember this next time you want something from me, SunClan will not entertain your threats"
His expression contorted from anger to disgust to rage all in the course of Littlestar speaking. His paw tapped against the ground even more furiously and his tail lashed hard enough to move his entire body. When Littlestar started to walk away, a switched in him flipped. He rose to his paws and dashed in front of the smaller she-cat. "No. Stop belittling everything! Those things were not lifetimes ago! Your cats are still hurt from that day you sent them over." He took a step towards the she-cat, making sure to get in her space. "And Marvelstar is gone. She was never fit to forgive your clan with that traitor son of hers anyway." Even the thought of Nocturnepaw made his lips curl with disgust and his eyes shimmer with... sadness?
