Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Serpenthaze had once again abandoned his children and left them in the care of his brother. He didn't know how to be a parent to them. He never envisioned himself being a parent thing young. Let alone being a single parent that had been handed the position of Inquisitor. If he was being honest with himself he had been internally freaking out the moment he was named Inquisitor. He had graciously accepted the position with a smile, but had definitely been in shock. He knew he couldn't go to the Council members for advice. There was only one council member at the moment and the tom was his own grandfather. He also wouldn't dare ask the Concul for advice, because it meant he gave into his own anxieties. So the only cats he could think of were the Silent Brothers. He stood outside of their home. He would be lying if he said he didn't find their home to not be intimidating.
The small black-and-white tom frowned at their stores, concentration creasing his forehead. They had been hard at work cultivating new growth to prepare for the later seasons, but they had neglected to gather many herbs during that time. The problem was that Snowshod still found it difficult to find plants in the wild; he did a decent job of identifying them once they were plucked, but wandering the territory in search of certain herbs was an arduous task. Still, he wanted to give Southspectre time to finish his Marvelstar portrait, so that meant he should take care of the plants today.
Snowshod headed up through the Silent City, feeling more confident in his empty home than he had a few moons ago, and emerged to find Serpenthaze waiting. He tilted his head curiously. There was a beat of silence as he sought out the other tom's mind; then: Inquisitor, he greeted. Come to visit the Council?
