Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Solemnenthrall had snuck out of the camp, hoping to see her again. Ever since he was captured by Beetleboo, Carvedsnow had been on his mind. His stomach was doing somersaults as he drew closer to the border of the main gathering place. That was the closest place for them to see each other between their clans and it still ended up being quite a trek. He had no idea how Beetleboo managed to drag him all the way to Moonclan. It was quite impressive honestly. A part of him wondered what the brash tom would think if he knew they met up in secret still. Maybe he already knew?
Taking in a deep breath of courage, he stepped out of hiding and into the clearing. As always, the fear of someone else just showing up out of the blue and catching them formed knots in his chest. Wasn't this a common thing now? They definitely weren't the only cats in the world to meet up like this. Plus they were just friends, right, so what's the harm?

Carvedsnow felt awful keeping secrets from her family. She told them everything in her life, but she hated to think of how her father would react if he found out what she was doing... he was a Silent Brother now, he had a higher responsibility to their clan, and she was back to being a lowly warrior. Even if he understood, he would be upset she was making friends in secret; some cats might already doubt her because her former job involved so much traveling, and now she was proving them all right. She couldn't even tell Beetleboo... he was the reason they met, but she just knew he wouldn't be able to keep a secret.
But as she emerged into the clearing and spotted Solemnthrall, the knots in her chest loosened. The stress and secrecy were worth it. Carvedsnow had never made a friend like this before, someone she trusted almost as much as her family, but it was a wonderful feeling, and just seeing him brought a smile to her crooked lips.
"Hey, Solemnthrall," she called quietly, suddenly feeling shy. How could seeing him make her feel so happy and so fluttery at the same time? There was a funny feeling deep inside of her and she blushed to the tips of her ears, wishing that just once this wouldn't happen when they met because it only embarrassed her further. "Um-- how was your walk here?"

"It's fine. It's fine. Be cool."
He tried to tell himself that over and over again in his thoughts but that method proved to be useless when she actually showed up. After a few moments, he finally swallowed his nerves and answered, "Good evening Carvedsnow. It was pretty uneventful honestly. I didn't even come across prey." As he started talking, he began to feel the familiar calm of being in her presence wash over him. It was like she was made of magic and could ease his nerves with just one look. Although, there was still a hint of heat on his cheeks.
"It sounds peaceful." She smiled again, fleeting. "On my longer travels, it was a blessing to go for a long time without any interruptions. Even if it meant I did not eat that night, I could still enjoy a quiet night alone on the plains."
Carvedsnow hesitated. Then, she admitted something she didn't have the guts to tell her family.
"I miss being a Bishop and traveling. It was... it was hard, sometimes, being alone. But it was free."
