The small group of cats came in battered, bleeding, and bruised. Some of the hunters were dragging comrades by the scruff of their necks, some were limping back on their own with little injuries to themselves, and others were completely unconscious. The Nemesis quickly walked up to the group catching the eye of Finnbar-kun, who was bleeding from his left ear that had been torn.
"What happened? Why is everyone like this?" Regulus asked sharply.
"We were doing our patrols when we were jumped by some lowly pack of rouges. We were able to take down most of them, but a few ran away. We won the fight but some of us came out rougher than others."
Saden-kun came up dragging an unconscious cat from between his teeth.
"As it happens some cats were around and saved our tails from an absolute slaughter... I don't know how this happened but it was bad Regulus E'tan." Finnbar-kun said nodding to Saden-kun.
With a nod the Nemesis called over Reynardine. "We have injured cats here that require your assistance!" This would be the first time the mage would heal a rather large group of cats with very little herbs to work with, as well as no Shaman to help her.
{You don't have to reply if you don't want to, but more or less this is just a fun mini plot and anyone can join in! This will be at random and can choose to either be a saver, wounded, unconscious, or even dead cat if you wish. Heck you can even choose a different cat than the one suggested.}
Luckily for Rami-kun, he hadn't been a part of the jumped group - nor was he one of the severely injured. Of course, that's probably thanks to him mostly staying out of the fight and getting in hits whenever it felt safe to do so (after all, injuring his precious face would be a sin, wouldn't it?), but he still had been stuck with the job of helping the less lucky ones make it back, which was rather unfortunate. Anything was better than dragging back a corpse, or being one, though, so he helped out with slightly less of his remarks.
Once Regulus E'tan was in view, Rami-kun let out a long breath. It had felt like the rest of the rogues were gonna jump out of nowhere, but suddenly the sense of danger washed away. Turning his gaze to Finnbar-kun, he gave a rather grim grin. "That... definitely could have gone better, eh?" he said, despite not being there for the initial fight. He could still feel his heart beating quickly, and words were the only thing that he knew how to use to deal with things.

Bermondsey hadn't been part of the group either, but the moment he had heard the sharp tone of the Nemesis, he had immediately come to take a look, and gods, it looked grim. There was something about the blood and the utter disaster that seemed to befall the patrol that ignited a fire of rage that seethed under Bermondsey like white coals, both cold and hot at the same time. Rogues, huh? His lips set into a thin line.
"We're going after them," he spoke almost immediately, impulsively. There was no way he'd let anyone do this in their territory without consequence.
"Don't get injured, or I'll never forgive you," Reynardine grumbled as Bermondsey spoke of going out again- risking more cats, when her supplies were already so limited. Already her mind was triaging the patients in front of her, dismissing the less seriously wounded for now and prioritizing those that were unconscious or bleeding profusely.
Why couldn't Charlotte have been here? Reynardine was only a few moons into her training under her newly discovered mother, and it wasn't like she was a prodigy. The mage hadn't picked up a single herb in her first two years of life, and now she was playing catch-up. "Everyone who's able to, move the heavily wounded to my den."
I'm going out with you," Reznor volunteered, his blue gaze immediately fixed on Bermondsey. He had been a part of the initial patrol, and though he hadn't been seriously injured, he wasn't in good shape either. Half of his face was bloodied, stained too dark to tell where the wound was, and his eye was nearly swollen shut. The marks in the rest of his coat didn't look too bad, he was certain he would survive, so he circled around the far side of the group from Reynardine. There was no way he was going to stay here instead of exacting some revenge.
Daviella, the new chick was last to filter into camp. She had one of those friendly smiles that all the nice girls had, but the narrow murder-you eyes that suggested she would kill if it meant getting what she wanted.
Her tail dragged behind her like a battle axe drawing deep, long red paths behind her like a red carpet. Cuts scorned her ice blond body with furious thick and red wounds and while everyone's eyes should be by her beaten shape it was the prize she dragged that would catch the most attention. Instead she dragged one of the rogues back, it was one of those, you think I'm beating? You should see the other guy moments. The rogues face was sunken in, one eye was concealed completely by swelling. Somehow the damage wasn't even the most revolting part of the guy, it was the way his head jerked around almost possessed, the way he whimpered like a kit. The way Daviella reverted a once strong cat into helpless infancy with only a few knocks to his head considering the rest of his body looked fine. Clearly she knew where to pack a punch as he appeared to be in worse shape than if he were skinned alive.
"I'm in pretty bad shape, but I did manage to hold off nearly an entire group of rogues with the little team I had before the rest of them showed up to finish what I started," Daviella said walking past Regulus, "That pal I brought back might have some consciousness left in him, you should give him a go for information, yes?" She said, more than asked with the same nice girl smile she always had before walking up to Reynardine to get checked out.

Finnbar-kun turned towards his friend. Rami-kun looked pretty well after the fight and Finnbar-kun couldn't be prouder of him. Finnbar-kun himself was a little bit beat up with cuts and bruises but nothing major or anything that would leave a lasting scar. "You did great out there, thank you for tagging in Rami-kun. Proud of you." lavellan
Regulus turned his warden, "Yes I think it would be a good idea. If we allow this to end this way they will think we are weak...think they have the upper hand. Bermondsey I will leave you to make the offensive attack. Take whomever you want...I know you'll get the job done." The Nemsis glanced over to Rez not saying anything. This was Bermondsey's choice if he wanted to tom or not to go onto a war party. achromaticCleaver
With a nod he then turned to Daviella. "Yes I think we can get this one to talk with a little bit of effort...you did well. Get any injuries you need healing to Reynardine. She could handle it. Faithsunlight

Bermondsey nodded at Regulus' words. He knew exactly what the tom meant, and the mere thought of being seen as weak made Bermondsey's skin crawl. There was no way these rogues would escape unscathed. "Come on Reznor," he glanced to the younger tom, before turning to the others crowding around, "anyone else want to join? If not, we're heading out."
When Regulus said nothing to acknowledge him, Reznor tensed, and his blue gaze flashed to Bermondsey. They weren't exactly friends, having met only once before, but there was a gleam of a challenge in his eyes - let him fight by the warden's side this time, let him see just what made Reznor so special. He opened his mouth to provoke him or defend himself, he wasn't sure which, but when the warden accepted him he softened once more. Good. He stepped up beside Finnabar and Bermondsey, ready to go.

Once he knew they were following, he immediately dashed towards the direction the patrol had returned from, his eyes narrowed in a focus of the layout of the city. A left, and a right, and straight on...that should lead them towards the street with the bodega. The pawsteps of the other two cats could be heard from behind him. "Reynor, you smell anything?" he asked, confirming with the other cat they were going the right direction. His eyes glanced towards the trainee following behind. "Stay on my right, Finnbar, and keep an eye out behind us too. We don't know what these cats have in mind."

Finnbar-kun gave a nod doing as he was told while keeping an eye out on Rez. The tom seemed in somewhat rough shape but it wasn't for Finnbar-kun to say. After all this was Primal Instinct and if you couldn't hold up your own you were pretty much useless. Still the trainee watched the tom not wanting him to flop over from blood loss... after all Finnbar-kun was nicer than most of The League cats. He couldn't abandon any cat which was evident from The Lost Boys gang he had before joining The League.
