Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Go away, Ashenpaw," snarled her 'friend,' all their childhood shenanigans and camaraderie seemingly erased by the vitriolic fury in Firepaw's eyes. "We don't hang out anymore. We aren't friends. You're a baby."
Heart splintering painfully in her chest, every insult thrown at her one she would internalize and be haunted by at night, she watched him stalk away. Ever since their ceremonies, which had been two moons apart, the bond they once had didn't appear to exist any longer, only a tangible distance stretching between them now. Which left her with...zero friends, if she didnt.count her siblings, who were obligated to love her. Ashenpaw sighed and turned away, unable to watch Firepaw walk away any longer, and moved miserably towards the fresh-kill pile, but she couldn't convince herself to take anything off it despite her rumbling belly. You didn't contribute. You don't deserve it. Pathetic little baby, the voice taunted her.
Eveningpaw could see the sadness that radiated from the other she-cat, and she couldn't help but feel bad. She knew her brother could be a ... lot to handle, especially now that he was in his weird stage of growing pains. That didn't give him the right to hurt others, though, she thought with a frown before she decided that she'd pad over and see how the other was doing. "Hey there, Ashenpaw," she greeted with a wave of her tail. "I was looking for something to eat, but I'm not hungry enough to take on an entire piece myself. Would you mind sharing with me?"
She jumped back as if stricken, though quickly she relaxed as she realized it was Eveningpaw. "Oh, um," she drawled uncertainly. There was still that niggling little voice in her head spitting venom in her ears, but she also didn't want to disappoint the other she-cat by rejecting her offer, feeling trapped between her options. Finally, after some thought, she smiled wanly. "Sure. What do you like?"
Eveningpaw smiled warmly, murmuring an excellent, before turning back to the prey pile. If Eveningpaw knew that Ashenpaw was made a little uncomfortable, she did not show it, instead speaking to her in a tone you'd speak to an old friend. "I've been sort of eyeing that rabbit for a while. What do you think?" she meowed, her tail twisting across the earth as she looked at the other.
