Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"..." Blood dripped down Spiritlake's face and onto the white fur of her chest, "... Please stop fighting. I just want to go home, I don't know what I did to piss you off so badly but I am NOT looking for a fight!"
She had stumbled upon a cat she didn't recognize while on a simple hunting patrol and approached him to introduce herself but, instead of a friendly conversation, the stranger had immediately lashed out at her and would not stop. Spiritlake wasn't especially cruel and had no motivation for this fight so, for the most part, she had run and dodged his attacks, but now she was out of room and energy.
"No. You're trespassing and deserve to die." The tom replied plainly, his voice ever but dark green eyes ablaze as he lunged for Spiritlake's throat. She yowled in fear and braced for impact, praying to StarClan that someone would intervene before his attack landed...
When did she become the hero? Why had she become the hero? This was the second time in the last six months that she found herself trying to defend someone who was probably going to die without her assistance. She didn't like it; when had she become so spineless as to put herself in danger for the sake of others?
It didn't really matter, it turned out, as the she-cat was able to dive at the tom. The two bodies collapsed, and Frenzy twitched slightly as she felt her claws make impact with his skin. "Back off," she hissed, trying her best to keep the tom pinned so the she-cat could either run or regain her footing.
"Fireflyfrenzy!" Spiritlake gasped as her savior materialized out of thin air. At first she didn't move at all but eventually she got the idea and sprung out of her corner, although she didn't flee, "This guy's strong. Let him go and let's make a run for it!"

The black tom growled and totally tanked Frenzy's attack like a champ, hardly even flenching as her claws during deep into his flank. He'd survived much worse pains than a few claw pricks. He squirmed under his attacker's weight - she was larger than him - but didn't make much progress in breaking free, which wasn't really his goal anyway. If a flash he contorted his neck and a strange angle and bit down, hard, on one of the Frenzy's front paws, determined to hold on until he heard a crack... not that he'd ever achieved that level of damage from a bite before, but there was a first time for everything.
Well, if Frenzy had been any other cat, perhaps her paw wouldn't have snapped. But, honestly, it felt quite par for the course that the tom's goal was successful, a soft hairline crack able to be heard over her hiss. Pain radiated from it, but it was muted by the rush of adrenaline that came with the fight. She slashed the tom's face hard with her other claw, forcing him to let go, before leaning close to his ear. "I'm going to get off of you, and you're going to have approximately three seconds to beat it. If you don't, I'll kill you." The manic look in her eye suggested that perhaps she wasn't kidding. After all, fighting a normal cat with a broken foot couldn't be worse than fighting an actual chimpanzee, which was something she'd unfortunately done. She then followed what she said, releasing the tom slightly so that he could squirm out and run, or he could fight back. Frenzy hadn't been given her name for no reason, so it was up to the tom on whether he wanted to press the she-cat.
"Do you seriously think I'm going to give up just because it's two on one?!" The tom growled, getting back to his feet in seconds and taking a step forward, eyes practically glowing in rage, "You---"
"Jinx-kun, stop it! This isn't League territory, you can't just go around attacking others for no good reason!"
The next cat to appear was a tortoiseshell... tom? No, the scent indicated male but in every other way she was a she-cat, from the way she walked to the tone of her voice. She ran right up to Jinx-kun and bopped him on the head. He glared at her and growled, but took just a fraction of a step back, "Oh my god, are you two okay? There's blood everywhere!"
~*~
"No, we're not okay. You rabid dog there tried to kill both of us. What gives?" Spiritlake growled, coming up to Frenzy's weaker side so the she-cat could lean on her should she wish, "We are well outside of the League's borders."
The tom was incredibly lucky that his friend showed up at precisely that time, because Fireflyfrenzy didn't look at all impressed. She looked like she was about to snap, really. Instead, she let out a humorless laugh at the bopping.
Frenzy appreciated Spiritlake's sudden gesture, leaning her weight slightly into the other adult slightly. This wasn't the first time she'd had to do that, not that she particularly liked it. "Give me one good reason I don't make you into Crowfood," she growled, pain simmering through her voice. At one point, perhaps Frenzy would have reacted to the situation with more casualness, but the last few moons had hardened her, and frankly, she was pissed about the fact that she'd be stuck in the medicine cat's den for a while. "Make it fast."
"Because Jinx-kun is going to apologize to you both right now," Acacia Blair declared.
"Yeah right. I'll apologize when I'm dead." Jinx scoffed in response, earning him a second head boop although this one was not as well received - the black-furred tom batted away his senior's paw and growled at her.
"Forgive him please, he's new to the League. He doesn't know much about the other groups. I took my eyes off him for a second and this happened..." Acacia sighed, glancing back at the black-furred tom who was still glaring up a storm at anyone who glanced at him, "... So I apologize for not keeping good enough tabs on our troublesome trainee. Is there anything you'd have us do to help smooth things over with you both as well as SwiftClan? This was not an act of war, just a misunderstanding."

Since Fireflyfrenzy was Spiritlake's senior, the black-and-white she-cat decided to take a backseat in this interaction. It was starting to get political and she'd much rather pull off each claw one by one than get in the middle of something like this.
