Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Athalia sighed as she made her way out of the old twoleg building, blinking her sightless eyes at her stark surroundings. Her ears twitched, listening for any signs of her group-mates, or any of her hunters in particular. Regulus had recently given her a task, and she was no closer to completing it now than when she started. Frustration pricked at the plumy proxy's fur as she ventured out, in search of... well any one in her charge. She hadn't had much of a chance to get to know many of the hunters assigned to her district since becoming proxy and that was something she aimed to change. Besides, it was the best first step to completing her first real assignment.

Hywel wasn't the type to go out of his way to impress his superiors, and it was clear in the way he lounged around outside of the building, finding the sunniest spot to take a nap and watch the world go by. He had noticed a cat in the distance, tail twitching and furrowed brow, and while he was certainly one of those external affairs kind of cats, he had barely recognized the proxy, unaware of all the things he should've known as a member of the league.
He wasn't sure whether the look on her face meant she had a bone to pick with another cat or whether she wanted a friendly chat, so he hesitated, slowly standing into a languished stretch before finding his way to the ground, keeping silent until the last crate that created his descending ladder turned out to be a lot less secure than he had thought, and with a crash, he sent half of it tipping over right as he leaped to the ground. Whoops.

Just when Athalia had gained enough confidence to relax in her surroundings it was shattered in an instant. she couldn't see the crates that were in the midst of toppling over, and by the time she heard a sound it was already too late. The sudden impact of the crates on her back was enough make her let out a startled cry. At least she thought she had. In truth she was too caught off guard to even make a sound, as the weight and force of the falling crates knocked her off her paws and buried her under them.

The clatter of boxes made Hywel wince, but the cry of surprise made his eyes widen in surprise. Ah balls, he thought with a grimace, as he leaped down, peering at the crates. Oh no, what did he do? Did he kill someone? Surely they weren't heavy enough to knock someone unconscious or crush them, right? He could imagine roadkill underneath the boxes and another grimace appeared on his face; that was not a pretty sight.
"Hello?" he called out sheepishly, "are you okay? Do you need help?" He couldn't quite see underneath the crates, but he tried to roll one a little farther, pushing it out of the way in order to pull whoever it was from underneath the rubble.

At first Athalia was too dazed to respond. What exactly happened? All she could be certain of was that something hit her, and was now piled on top of her. Her brain was just starting to reboot when she heard someone near by. It was strange really, looking in the direction of the sound she could make out bits of color, but otherwise blocked by the sheer white of whatever was obstructing her view.
"What happened?" she asked, already testing to see if she could stand on her own. Luckily the crates themselves weren't heavy exactly, they just hurt when suddenly dropped on top of you and were awkward to try and shake off.

Pushing another box away, he glanced towards the she-cat in concern. Well, that must've been...great, to have a bunch of boxes falling on you. Surely, he would've expected her to react in a more...unfriendly manner since he was the culprit of it all, but she seemed unaware, and well, Hywel wasn't really the type to commit his own suicide by admittance.
"Well, you must've been walking by and the boxes fell over," he lied smoothly, "maybe a bird hit it or something. You all right? Any injuries? Should I go get the shaman for you? Must've been rough but you know, you can't predict these things sometimes. Can't see these things coming."
He grinned, his tail dusting the speck of dirt upon Athalia's coat. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about that little slip up if you don't want me to," he joked, a grin on his face, "but you should be more careful next time. Never know what's going on around this city, if you know what I mean."
