Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Blossomkit was woken up from her mother nuzzling her. The white kitten stretched and yawned. She sat and listened to her mother and another queen talk for a while then got bored. She was jealous of the other kittens who had littermates and had someone to play with all the time. She had a faint memory of her three siblings but honestly the most she knew about them was what she heard her mother talk about. Finally she decided to find someone to play with. Looking around the nursery, Lovekit was the only one who was seemingly awake. She had never really talked to him before but today was going to be the day. She pranced up to him as eloquently as she could. She waited behind him for a second for him to turn around but realizing that he wasn't going to, she spoke, "Good morning Lovekit! How are you today?"
Lovekit had awoke that morning to an unfamiliar den. He turned to see if Hystericstar’s nest but was met with the sight of a sleeping queen. He crept near the entrance of the den looking around for the hairless tom, but saw no signs of him. The grey tabby pouted feeling slightly abandoned. He heard rambunctious shouts that drew his attention back towards den behind him. He saw groups of kittens playing many of them with their siblings or taking to their parents. It made the small orphan feel lonely so he turned his attention back to the world outside of the den. A few moments he was in his own little world. A small voice spoke behind him causing his fur to prickle. He turned only to see a kit staring at him. “What did you say?”
Blossomkit tilted her head slightly, "I said good morning! How are you?" There was next to nothing that could dim Blossomkit's sunshine. She tried not to be too overwhelming but warmth exuded from her like honey. She often missed cues and didn't really understand why she wasn't supposed to say some things. "Are you alone too? I have my mom still, but I don't remember any other family."
"Oh! Uhh I'm doing okay! Kind of sad though Hystericstar left me here." He was still pouting at the thought of being moved to the nursey. The question if he had family made his chest feel funny. "I uhh don't have a mom anymore and I don't know who my dad is." His voice getting really quiet.
