Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mallowmusk wasn't a social creature. Perhaps there was a time when she used to be, but she had always been the quieter of the three of her siblings, with the cautious look in her eye and the jitter in her bones, a contrast to the proud way her sister presented herself, inspiring confidence, with an air of elegance and royalty that Mallowmusk never had. Juniperdust was always the type to be picked first, and she had always been the one to hang back, following her like a shadow until suddenly, even that was gone.
To be chosen to escort a garden keeper on a patrol was a surprise, even to her. With another cat too, one she had seen but with...pleasantries, never having spent much time with. Largelight. She hadn't been to the gardens much, but hey, there was always a first time, right?
"You must be Largelight," she finally spoke as the other cat approached, the black and white cat tilting her head to the side in an attempt to be more personable, "I'm Mallowmusk. I'm not sure if we've met...?"
Largelight, despite her name, was never particularly fond of being in the spotlight, no matter how big or small it was. From the very moment that she joined Summerclan, she had preferred to stay in the comfort of the background, never making any big waves within the clan, or be known for anything other than being 'that nice former kittypet'. For the past several moons, she had been content in her small section of the garden, or with following along behind Satinshore and Honeyfrost as they spread catty gossip about Starclan-knows-what. It was a quiet little life that she lived, among the hustle and bustle of being in a clan, and she was just fine with it.
It...was just a bit lonely, once and a while.
"I don't believe we have," she admitted in response to Mallowmusk, curling her tail around her large form almost shyly. The other she-cat was a garden keeper herself, wasn't she? Or was that her sister? It was so hard to keep track of everyone, the clan felt like it grew every passing day. But regardless, she felt ashamed that she had never been properly introduced to someone that she lived with and saw every morning. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mallowmusk. Um...should we get going?"

Mallowmusk gave Largelight a shy nod. She had never been one to shake the waters either. Growing up, it had been mostly just her and her siblings, and she had stuck so tightly to Juniperdust she had practically been a shadow to her sister. Making friends had never been easy; she was shy by nature, the type who preferred to stay behind while others took lead.
Still, Largelight seemed nice. Unlike her older siblings, she seemed like the type who sat back the same way she did, trying to keep from drawing too much attention. "Yeah, let's do that," she replied sheepishly, following along, "where are we going today? I'm supposed to be escorting you...mind telling me where?"
"O-oh! You're escorting me to the Fallclan border...if that's alright with you, of course," Largelight answered somewhat sheepishly, embarrassed that no one had told Mallowmusk where they were growing. "Some of the warriors reported seeing a patch of flowers of the Fallclan side of the lake that they've never seen in the Meadow before. Vulturemalace confirmed that they probably weren't an herb, so the other Garden Keepers want me to dig some up and replant them in the Garden, to see if we can find a use for them." Probably just for more flower crowns, went upspoken, but rather a giggle in the she-cat's mind. It was kind-of a big ask; while Summerclan and Fallclan weren't on bad terms, they weren't anywhere close to being as friendly as Springclan.

oh whoops!!! I must've lost it in my notifications 😭sozzz also funny thing is i forgot mallowmusk was,,,,, actually a garden keeper,,,,,, but let's uhhh pretend that this all makes sense and she becomes a garden keeper after this LOLLLLL
Mallowmusk had always enjoyed the gardens; sometimes she felt as if she belonged there more than as a warrior, but it had been Juniperdust who had pushed her towards that specific pathway. Her eyes were wide, curiosity and surprise on her face. "Are we going to cross into FallClan?" she asked, her voice holding a sort of whisper, as if she was a kit getting caught doing something wrong. She glanced towards the direction of the lake. "What do these flowers look like? Do you think we'll get in trouble for crossing into their territory?"
