These kits are all best friends from all walks of life who came together by chance. They stumbled into each other's lives and then were thrown to the wolves, having to depend on one another and their specific skills to survive until they arrived in SummerClan, marching right into Ratstar's den and staring at him until he woke up, demanding to join the clan. They received clan names per tradition but within their group, they still refer to each other by their code names. I plan on creating some fun missions and misadventures for them to do while they navigate learning the clan, growing up, and juggling the changes that inevitably come with maturity. They are all mistrustful of adults.

Lizardkit (leap) • Code Name: Lizzie
A scrawny brown tabby she-cat with green eyes. Adventurous, troublesome, scrappy, good-natured, optimist, unyielding, brains over brawn. Lizzie is the most undersized of her friends but has arguably the largest, shiniest spirit. She's the Mom Friend and dotes on those she feels responsible over, despite generally being younger than those she latches onto, and did the majority of the hunting for her group before they arrived in SummerClan. She isn't often the most intelligent but is willing to do whatever is necessary to succeed, and she refuses to accept that growing up means losing the funnest parts of oneself.

Grizzlykit (wolf) • Code Name: Mouse
A roughed up gray tom with one yellow eye. Quiet, gruff, morally ambiguous, savage, well meaning, loyal, follower, simple, doesn't trust anyone outside of his friends, doesn't believe in blood ties. They call him Mouse but he's the largest of the gang. He rarely speaks and doesn't say much when he does. Often, he just chooses not to speak at all, especially if none of his friends are around. He has a hair trigger temper and doesn't fully understand jokes and sarcasm, leading to him getting into a lot of trouble, but his intentions are usually pure---but not necessarily good. Mouse doesn't abide by societal norms; he does things for the good of his friends, which isn't always good for SummerClan.

Tabbykit (tiger) • Code Name: Wildcat
An orange tabby bobtail she-cat with amber eyes. Romantic, starry-eyed, playful, loves to sing songs, falls in love fast but out of it faster, muscular, likes knowing she's stronger than The Boys, capable, lesbian friend, resourceful. Wildcat's dreams are larger than life and the line between fantasy and reality is thin and blurry where she's concerned, often because even if she does see it, she pretends not to. She's a 'jack of all trades' kinda gal and incredibly resourceful, and anyone who wants to challenge her skill will find a truly formidable opponent. She's more muscular than other kits her age and loves to pummel the boys when they tease her.

Lakekit (shimmer) • Code Name: Beta
A silver and white tabby she-cat with blue eyes. No nonsense, natural leader, militant, intelligent, beady-eyed, frown lines around muzzle, fears solitude, wakes up throughout the night and makes sure everyone is still in camp, sarcastic, frigid. Beta has leadership on lockdown but what she lacks is the warm, gravitational charisma that draws others to follow her lead. She has underlying abandonment issues and a tendency to be possessive over her friends, often trying to threaten outsiders into leaving. However, she truly longs for deeper, stronger relationships with cats outside of her friend group but worries that the others might thinks she's ditching them, so she presents herself as cold and uninterested.

Crabkit (riot) • Code Name: Gabby
A wiry red tom with teal eyes. Chatterbox, no concept of personal space, socially inept, annoying, way too happy but deeply insecure, cries at night, acts tough, makes bad jokes, has several imaginary friends he insists are real. Why is he in the group? No one can really say, but deep down everyone has their own modicum of affection for Gabby, despite how his presence warrants despair. He's too happy and too bright all the time, offers little in the way of skill or accomplishments, and his interactions tend to be surface deep, as if his life story is a shallow pool you can wade through. He supplements his loneliness and insecurity with proximity, pressing himself against whomever is nearest to him until they make an eventual excuse about having to go count the water molecules in SunClan's volcano and he accepts it with a too-big smile that definitely implies he doesn't believe it but doesn't want to say anything.
