Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(When I realize I don't know how to start a romantic rp with a character with zero personality xD)
Robinegg was waiting for Squirrelleap. She glanced back at the warrior den, he still wasn't out yet. She licked at her paw and carefully dabbed around her eyes to make her eyes watery and therefore bigger. She quickly spot checked herself, not a tuft of fur out of place or twig on her, good. She stood up straight making sure to raise her head ever so slightly so the shadows would hide the worse parts of her face. She gingerly licked her paw, slow, deliberately. The way no one would lick their paw if they wanted to get any progress, but she needed to look busy and pretty and most definitely not desperate. He was cute, she wanted to make a good impression, but without coming on too strong. The plan was to talk to him about how cold it was this evening and then point out that there were no birds on the freshkill pile and how they were her favorite. She'd then ask him if he'd go on a hunt, he'd say yes and they'd fall madly in love! Flawless. Her indigo gaze kept inching back towards the warriors den. She was hardly able to keep from squealing over the anticipation, but kept it together. Be the essence of composed and elegant, she reminded herself
Squirrelleap's jaws stretched wide in a yawn as he emerged from the warriors den. Though he paused when he caught sight of Robinegg sitting looking rather pretty in the setting sun. "Wow, you're looking nice Robinegg," He meowed coming up to her ears pricked and green eyes bright. After the whole... thing that never was with Cass. He figured he'd done something wrong. Came on to hard. Or maybe he'd been wrong to try and get involved with any toms.
So he'd started actively looking at the she cats, trying to see if any of them appealed to him. And if they seemed to like him too. With Robinegg... she seemed interested but he wasn't sure.
Well no time like the present to find out, looking at her. "How are you this fine winter evening?" He asked, turning up his charm. If she was interested she'd respond well. If not, he'd know for sure what her feelings towards him were.
"Thank-you, Squirrelleap," Her words seemed dismissive, she turned away for a moment to give the illusion that she was about to turn and walk the other way.
Inside she was holding back a nervous giggle, she turned back around, she hadn't expected him to ask her a question. This was already going great, "I can't help, but be a bit sad, there's no birds in the freshkill pile."
As she spoke Ericanorth placed down a rather plump sparrow and Robinegg quickly stepped in front of the freshkill pile to block the view of the bird, "So I was thinking of going out on a hunt for one."
"Oh hey, are you going hunting, I could go for a round two," Ericanorth offered.
"Erica, no, you already hunted, go find Frozenfire, Squirrelleap and I have this covered," Robinegg said, trying to sound confident rather than desperately encouraging the other she-cat to leave them alone, but she tossed a reassuring sly smile Squirrelleap's way, "Besides, I wanted to show you my secret hunting area."
Squirrelleap chuckled he noticed the bird, but didn't say anything. He figured she just didn't want to take any prey that Ericanorth had caught. Though he didn't really dislike the other she cat, he understood that she could be awfully mean to some of their clanmates.
"That sounds good to me, and you go get some relaxation Ericanorth, I'm sure Frozenfire will go hunt with you again if you'd like," Squirrelleap meowed. "She should be up soon, you know how she likes her late night hunting." Many cats had had their nightly rests disturbed by Frozenfire going out when most of them were back in camp and relaxing.
He turned back to Robinegg his whiskers twitching, "Okay, lead the way," He said gesturing with his paw to the entrance. "I won't fall behind." He added with a light laugh.
"Walk beside me, I've been feeling a little light headed lately, I might have to lean into you a bit along the way," Robinegg said, giggling slightly before looking serious.
She took a few elegant steps forward ensuring her shoulders bobbed and her hips moved in rhythm with her shoulders. She breathed in, you got this Robinegg. Her head turned to the side in one slick motion with a sleepy eyed expression, "You coming big boy?" She asked, hardly holding herself together, but she said it with confidence despite internally wincing. What if he thought she was weird? Or he didn't like girls that came on too strong? Or took offense to her comment?
Squirrelleap’s ears pricked forwards and he stood up straight, he chuckled. “Oh, you know it.” He said trotting to join her, coming up beside her. “And don’t you worry about needing to lean on me, i’ve Got you,” he told her in a purr. “So what do you say we get this hunt underway?”
Robinegg pointed to a flock of crows hanging out in a field picking at something, "We could attack the crows and then take what they're eating," She said nodding towards the small hills.
