Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The time of day was night far after many warriors had been done with their duties. Whether they were hoping to find romance, flings, someone to have kits with, or are already disappointed by the turn out and want to go home the two were there and now it was time for conversations to fly. They only had 10 minutes and three partners to choose from so it’s best to ask and answer all the right questions to get to know the other.
Each speed round had a separate area for the two cats to talk. This particular speed round took place at a small abandoned apple orchard. The trees were untamed, gnarled with ruby red apples that only seemed located at the very tops of the tree. The location wasn’t particularly romantic, rather haunted looking with creaking noises from the old trees and odd rustling sounds that are surely the leaves. It's a difficult place to focus on the other person.

The Fallclan cat sat under the a tree looking unfazed by her surroundings. Honestly it was slightly creepy but it was better than playing some stupid game. If anything she actually felt curious about these surroundings around her finding things to be interesting. What she was more curious about was the cat that would be showing up. How would they react to seeing Lightember? She was known for her no nonsense attitude and rather intimidating aura around her. Being in this area was not going to help her in the least bit. But who knows, maybe this cat would be interesting and brave enough to talk to her. If he did he would find her to be a rather sweet she cat. pLuto
Asher made his way toward the location of an apple orchard he wasn't familiar with, unsure who or what he was going to meet there. The only details he got were that this was to be a date with a cat from a neighboring clan. His mind raced with many ideas of what kind of cat they would be. Would they be shy? Would they be very sociable? He just didn't know.
As he approached the orchard, he felt an uneasy feeling. This is where we're supposed to have a date? Who'd want to come here? The trees looked old, with empty branches swaying in the breezes that rolled through. The tom couldn't help but feel uneasy being here. Heh...good thing this dating thing is only for a short period, right?
Weaving through the trees, he spotted his date - a black she-cat with orange spots - sitting underneath the one of them. Clearing his mind, he put on his best smile. First impressions are everything right? But, as he neared her, something felt off. She looked...angry? No, angry wasn't the right word. Menacing, more like it. Was this the cat he was supposed to meet? For some reason he felt more nervous than he should have, a feeling he didn't feel often unless he was definitely uncertain of something.
"H-hello," he greeted with a slight wave of his tail.

Lightember turned to see a Russian Blue tom approach her looking hesitant but still gave a slight wave of the tail to her. She blinked with those bright yellow eyes of her's which, without meaning to, pierced directly straight to Asher. "Yes hello to you too. I'm Lightember of Fallclan... pleasure to meet you too. Where are you from? I'm going to guess...Summerclan?"
Asher dipped his head slightly, but respectfully. Out of nervousness, he briefly averted his gaze when he locked onto Lightembers'. "You would guess correctly," he responded, straightening himself up. "I am from SummerClan." He was a bit surprised by the correct guess, considering he didn't have any of the usual traits associated with cats from there. It must be my scent. That must be it. But he was a curious if there was something else. "How'd you know?"

Lightember gave a small smile to the question, "Oh I could smell it off of you. I've only met a small handful of Summerclan cats but you all have a pleasant smell of flowers and salty sea waters. It's honestly not a bad scent to have at all. I can imagine that your territory is a rather beautiful one." The area the two speed daters were in however was far from it. The atmosphere was rather creepy but to Lightember was rather fascinating. Not that she would want to live here but wasn't easily spooked by stuff like this.
This was new to him, having been given a compliment on his scent. He never really thought of it much since he was so used to it being the normal scent of their territory. "Thank you," he replied. "SummerClan sure is nice, especially around this time. Unlike this place..." He looked around at the dark scenery, the feeling of unease still lingering. "So," he started to say as his gaze returned to Lightember, "what brought you to do this event?"

"Honestly someone signed me up for this but I figured I would give it a shot anyway. So far things have been interesting but not bad in anyway to complain about. I mean sure the area around us is a bit...different but it could be worse. You have been a pleasure to talk to thus far and seem pretty friendly enough. What made you want to do this kind of thing?" Lightember turned his own question around to him curious as to why Asher would want to do an event like this.
