Three down, only a couple more to go. She had hardly nipped the sacs before Rubyflame had pulled one of her kittens close. "Let go. Kits are delicate you know, and we wouldn't want them getting hurt." Foxstar's voice left no room for argument as she spoke in agreement with the Janus, gaze monitoring the she-cat's conditions as she gave birth. It was going well, especially for a first kitting. Better even, for an early birth. The kittens were on the small side, of course, but not so much as to endanger their lives. They'd be fine, in the end.
Rubyflame hissed, but reluctantly let the gray tom kit go. But she growled at the Auricluster who had gotten close to try and take her son from her. "Fine," she growled, "But you get back," she hissed at Auricluster. She didnt want that tom so close at all. The gray kit she had held close continued to cry. Though Rubyfkame quickly bent her head to give him a weak lick on his head to try and soothe him before pain seized her. She had to jerk her head back teeth gritting as her body rippled. Another ginger kit joining the others in the nest. Rubyflame barely had a chance to recover before the next one followed quickly after. 5 kits now lay beside the weakened ginger and white immortal council member.

Good, that seemed to be all of them. "If someone hasn't already done so, please go ask Amity if she still has enough milk to nurse these kits." After Glowstar had taken them, Foxstar wasn't really certain if she still had any, and she'd rather not have to ask Littlebird to shoulder the burden of an extra five kits, if she could even do so in her current state.
Skipstep nodded, "I will," He said getting up and heading out tail gently brushing Littlebird's flank as he went. He knew if Amity couldnt feed these kits, Littlebird would then be asked. And she was still recovering and 5 extra kits would be a lot to ask of her.
Rubyflame heard the words and dread filled her. Her kits were going to be taken. Shs felt absolutely drained and achy from the whole ordeal but she forced herself to sit up. She had released the gray kit but now she set about trying to wash him properly. Exhaustion dragged at her but she forced herself to do this, cleaning her son as best she could before turning her head to get to the next closest. She knew the exhaustion would take her. But she had to stave it off. She had to do this. So though her movements were slow and she was making slow progress cleaning her first two kits she forced herself to keep going.
But soon a jab of pain from her belly made her stop and she had to try and lie down to ease the pain. The kits mightve been okay to come out, but Rubyflames body hadnt been ready for it and it was clear.
The pain was starting to make it hard to see and process but she forced herself back up looking Foxstar in the eye. "You might take these kits from me now,but you wont own them," she ground out. She looked down at her kits. Too weak to clean them. There was still one thing she could do. Taking a deep breath she forced herself to speak.
"This one is Knightkit," she meowed resting her tail on the gray kit that strongly resembled fang. Fang might enjoy his rest, but she liked when they were cuddled together half in reality half in dreams murmuring to each other the various fantasies they could have. In one of them her mate had been her knight, and it seemed fittong their first son who resembled him so strongly would bear thst as his name.
The next one also resembled Fang, but was a little lighter, so she rested her tail on them and pronounced them "Shadowkit."
The next one looked like her, and was a little she cat. She looked so dainty. Like a little angel had been born in this dark prison. "Celestialkit," she named her.
The other one was a lighter ginger, and she had come fourth in the litter but shed come quickly. Her paws were already moving like she was trying to catch something invisible that no cat could see. "Lightningkit," All emissaries had 'ing' after their name she'd noted and though she wasnt sure Lightningkit was an emissary or like an emissary. It just... fit in Rubyflanes hazy mind.
At the last one Rubyflame could feel her strength waning. So she said the first name that came to mind. "Rangerkit." She saod. Voice audible but waning. Then she had to lower herself back into the nest, shudders going through her. She wasnt yet unconscious but too weak to do anything else. But at least if she told Fang she could say their lost kits had names. They might be able to find them again...

As the mother faded and showed to be weakening Auricluster grunted and scooped up a kit pulling it a short distance from Rubyflame and finishing the job of cleaning it. He respected the position the young mother found herself in but it couldnt be helped. He looked up at Foxstar with his golden gaze. "Are these names pleasing? Or are they to be renamed?" If foxstar is too keep these kits and raise them among SunClan she could easily rename them if she pleased. Despite the mothers wishes. He rasped his tongue across the kits pelt. Feeling its blood slow under its thin pelt.

Littlebird nuzzled against Skipstep and followed him out of then. She needed to return to her own kits, and her job here was done. Her stomach was in knots, having to watch the she-cat forced to give birth. Once she was out in the fresh air she stopped just to breathe in the fresh air. She didn't like what they had just done, it didn't seem right... But it was the only way to keep DayClan in line. She closed her eyes and leaned against her mate for a moment, taking in his warm scent.
(I'm actually pretty sure cats even if they've never been pregnant nor have had litters can produce milk like cases where dogs can nurse kittens. Just for future reference, but for now I'll just have her be too sad to produce any milk cause she's just not ready to have any litter, but hers)
Amity curled her tail around herself, she knew SunClan had to have taken them. SunClan's own superiority made her feel too certain that they were bullet proof. That there was no one alive that could get into their fortress and steal her kits except for someone on the inside. She knew it. One day she'd see her kits with another mother and they'd have their fathers folded ears, yet SunClan would still carry the audacity to claim they weren't hers. She swallowed a sob. She became an initiate to save this from happening, she would have devoted everything to them. Why? Why did they do this to her?
Autumngossamer woke up and turned her head vomiting to the side, blinked a few times as if trying to remember how she wound up on the ground before remembering and then throwing up once more. She wiped her muzzle with her paw in disgust. She was never having kits. Ever. Ever. Ever. Screw everything she thought of Rubyflame, Rubyflame would always be braver than her because she'd literally never have that happen to her. Autumngossamer slowly got to her paws, jealousy glowing in her eyes as she looked at the toms still standing. Oh sure, of course they're going to come off as emotionally capable of being better poised than she was. But they didn't have to picture it happening to them. Her eyes shifted to Rubyflame's unconscious body and quickly looked away seeing the mess around her.
