Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The entire situation wasn't exactly one he would call reasonable. From the very moment he was brought back into the League, he thought it was rather strange, but made no comment on it. Who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth? He was a lucky tom, lucky indeed, to not only be given the blessing of being permitted to return to Primal Instinct, but to be asked back. On top of that, however, to be made internal affairs proxy not even five minutes into his return?
If his relationship with Verisiel – if it could be called such – wasn't damaged to begin with, it certainly was after she was demoted and he was promoted. He wasn't entirely sure where she'd slunk off to after the announcement was made; he wasn't entirely sure if she'd even left the territory. It would be like the white she-cat to remain around, ever vigilant, yet hidden in the shadows. He himself preferred the company of the shadows over the light. Verisiel wasn't such a feline.
She had preferred the light from the very moment he had met her so very long ago. It was why, he suspected, she had sent their son away to be raised by those she believed would lead him down the 'right path'. It had taken him far too long to find where his son was residing, and even longer to concoct a plan to reintroduce himself in the young tom's world. He had yet to enact it, but all good things come to those who wait.
The black tom smirked slightly to himself as he gazed down at the pool. Oh, how she would rage against him. Perhaps she'd even try and draw blood.
