Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
KITSUNE{ noun } – literally, a fox; also known as a Japanese fox spirit, normally female, said to have powers such as shape-shifting, and whose power is symbolized by increase in number of tails.
It wasn't very often that SpringClan found themselves with a lost kitten on their hands, let alone one that didn't have any surviving mother or father – at least, none that they knew of. There was no trace of a scent of a mother or father figure on the she-kit that Sakurapaw had stumbled upon while out on an herb gathering patrol, solo of course. Like her mother, even she felt cooped up at times if she spent prolonged periods inside the camp.
it was the sight of the abnormality on the kitten – perhaps the reason she was abandoned in an unfamiliar territory without any form of protection or care? – that led Sakurapaw to name her what she did.
"Excuse me," she started with a soft voice, glancing apologetically at the queens around the nursery, "is anyone willing or able to care for this little one? I found her out in our land. She'll be under watch, but she needs maternal love." The white she-cat looked down at the kitten that was curled in a nest against her flank, seeking out the warmth the medicine cat apprentice happily provided, though she knew it wouldn't be enough, not by a long shot.
"Her name is Kitsunekit." She murmured, glancing at the kitten, where at her rump two tails diverged.
