Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( The Regime stumbles upon a tunnel that leads them to a section beneath DayClan than they perhaps have never gone before. What will they find? Who knows, but the tunnel collapses behind them, sealing them from going back the way they came. The only way is forward. Feel free to add more chars to this patrol!)
Of course the Privates were dragged into this. Zakiyyah padded along after Symphorosa quietly when she paused. For half a second she didn't register why she felt the need to do so until she felt the telltale tremors of an impending cave in. They were heading down a few tunnels yet to be explored, but clearly, some force did not like them being there. Glancing forward and behind she noticed the dust rain down behind her and just over their heads as the wall began to crack. In an instant, the Private had picked up her smaller brother by the scruff like a wayward kit and pelted deeper into the unfamiliar tunnels, not particularly caring if she was bowling over her fellow Regime cats. The only thing she shouted in her wake was "MOVE!"
Not more than a few heartbeats later, it was like the entire world collapsed as the tunnel crashed down still far too close to her for comfort, and she fell over due to the shaking tunnel, sending her and Kotori sprawling. But at least they were safe. What about the rest of the patrol?

Cadet Sunshine's ears flattened against his head and he tucked his tail, making himself very small as the tunnel began to Crack. Was this how he was supposed to die? Sunshine Eerie was not made for this kind of stuff! It was only Zakiyyah's shout that shook him out of his fear and got his paws moving, but only just. He jumped at the last second and the tip of his tail was caught under some rubble. It pulled out pretty easily but it was a bit sore and missing some of his jet black fur.
"That was... too close. What now?" The cadet looked to the older cats with wide blue eyes.
Havilah almost didn't make it out of the tunnel the collapsing tunnel. He'd been in the rear of the patrol, meaning he had the most distance to cover with the same amount of time as everyone else. Yet, as the rocks began to tumble and fall, the second they hit his fur it looked as if they shot off in the opposite direction, not even leaving so much as a scratch on the auburn-furred tom. By the time he found his exit he'd deflected several more stones, the final of which was a pebble-sized quartz that shot straight toward Zakiyyah's eye.
"This is why exploratory patrols need to have fewer members!" He growled, pacing slightly but careful to keep his voice down, "Some caves are so fragile that even the slightest sound can make them collapse. I've seen cats practically decapitated from it in the past... and odds are any adjacent caves will prove to be just as deadly," He turned his forest green eyes to the patrol, finally settling on the default leader, "Symphorosa, I understand that you are my Superior, but I have a lot more experience dealing with cave-ins than you do. Allow me to take it from here."
Zakiyyah almost got hit by the rock, and it was only slight movements that made it scratch past her cheek, just under the exceptionally tall feline's eye, instead of actually blinding her. Of course, when anyone would turn to look at her... the she-cat was practically gone. As in it was almost impossible to spot her. She no longer looked like herself, instead, her fur had changed color entirely, and now mimicked the color of their surroundings, the dust also settling on her fur also making it that much easier to mistake her as a part of the wall or a particularly large rock rather than a cat. In fact, it was only her eyes that were easy to distinguish in the shadows, and currently, they were turned towards Kotori, mostly hidden from view, making it appear as if the ex-Spy had all but disappeared.
"Before we get ahead of ourselves, I need to know what I'm dealing with here," Havilah answered Cadet Sunshine, assuming control since Symphorosa had not objected to him, "Is anyone wounded or unaccounted for?"

Unsure what exactly to make of the cats sudden the over in leadership but willing to go along, he looked around. "Seems like mostly minor injuries, but I'm no guider." He grimaced as he peered at his tail. The black end had been just about stripped of all its fur and it was a bit raw. With time it should heal and grow back. Here was to hoping.
"You okay?" Zak blatantly ignored Havilah's questions as she spoke to Kotori, more focused on ensuring her brother was safe than anything else. After all, she'd just dragged him out of the way of near certain death. Unfortunately, it seemed Havilah had survived, but they could deal with that in a few moments. Or maybe slip away when he wasn't looking, if they were lucky. Faith
Havilah noticed Zak was ignoring him but judged the situation far too dire to waste his energy on bickering with his cousin.
"We don't have any time to sit here and chit chat. The path we entered is sealed air-tight meaning we only have so long before we suffocate, that is, assuming the pathways ahead of us are blocked, too. I know a couple of ways out - again, assuming they aren't caved in - but we have to be quiet, careful and obedient," His eyes settled on Zak, not that she could see him in the near pitch-black darkness, "Let's get moving."
Kotori seemed to blackout for a moment, but when he came to he only saw Zakiyyah, but didn't see the others. Had he woken up into a dream come true, "Wait, are we separated from the others?" He asked gleefully to his sister, "Aw, yes! We could do so mu-"
Zakiyyah's words caught up to him and he slowly turned in disappointed to Havilah, "Yeah, okay, no, this makes more sense to my track record of luck. Alright, what work am I going to be forced to obey to do this time?" He asked, getting up.
Honestly, Zak almost wondered if he had a concussion, considering how obedient he was being. But maybe he just wanted to show Shule he really was listening. At any rate, her fur shifted back to normal, and she glanced at Havilah. So long as Kotori was obeying, she would. Beyond that? The tom better hope that Kotori didn't decide they could take Havilah on or otherwise escape.
"Everyone be quiet and stand absolutely still," He said quietly, his tone much more calm than it had been before, "I will be gone for just a moment to scout ahead, but I need absolute silence from the rest of you."
He didn't wait for their responses and padded off down a tunnel, silent as a ghost himself, senses wholly trained on the tunnel around him as he searched for any clues that would lead him back to the surface...
~*~
My next reply he will come back, but I figured I'd give you a moment to either be obedient or start talking the minute he leaves LOL
Kotori watched Havilah leave before beginning to tunnel, "C'mon if we make a hole fast and cover it up, they'll lose us, get out, and we can escape out later. Maybe even get out of doing some chores AND all we have to say is that we just got extra lost, no extra punishment attached," He proposed to Zakiyyah.

Zakiyyah glanced at the place where Havilah had been, "Seems like a great way to suffocate. Got any better ideas?" She answered, tilting her head. Her fur was still not it's normal color, rather, she blended into her surroundings, merely a pair of eyes until someone looked more closely and searched for her outline. Not to mention her scent, but that was dampened a bit by the dust that covered her fur.
"Only ones that help me escape, but not you spider legs," Kotori said, tapping his sisters long legs, "I guess Havilah's gone so we can just try to walk on out of here. Not that it's ever worked before, but hey, first time for everything?"
"Why not? See how long it takes him to notice." She shrugged, though the majority of the motion was lost. "Where to first? Only direction at the moment is in the direction he disappeared to."
