Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. ◼️ She should have died along-side her Mother, but alas that didn't happen. The new-born Tortie-kit was saved by a patrol of FallClan warrior's who had heard the slaughtering of a group of cats attacking her mother and her shrill cries of agony as they ripped her open, killing her. The patrol came and drove the rogues away, before they could hurt or kill Freckledkit. They took both daughter and Mother back to camp. They buried her Mother and gave her to the Queens and aides to care for her. Her life had almost ended before it began, it is now.

◼️ Freckledkit had just turned three moons old. She was now old enough and big enough to leave the nursery and see the camp. She had mostly spent her time inside the nursery walls, under the watchful eyes of the Queens and aides, now she could go farther, not much, but it was something. Freckledkit flickered her tail excitedly as the sun rose in the sky and the other cats of the clan began to stir. The cats at least on patrol. She ran out of the den and sat in a grassy area and watched as the patrol members gathered.

◼️ She stared wide-eyed at them and marveled at how big they were and how... majestic ... they walked. Freckledkit watched until the last member left the camp entrance and couldn't be seen. After a few minutes her stomach rumbled loud enough for another cat to hear. She glanced around, seeing if anyone heard. Her stomach rumbled again and she let out a soft sigh before rising to her paws and making her way to the fresh-kill pile. She sat down in front of it, pondering on what she wanted to try, as it was her first time, eating freshly caught prey.
