The white she cat was getting rounder each day but knew she was both not at her max plumpness yet nor was she going to be slowed down until the fateful day came. Instead Wintershine found herself walking around trying to find Hotpaw, whom she had only met once and that was during the ceremony for them to become an apprentice. They seemed nice enough though. Now the warrior found herself gliding this way and that way trying to find her new apprentice excited to bestow what she knew onto them. biyuu ☆彡
"HI WINTERSHINE," said Hotpaw, bounding up to greet his mentor. "LOVELY DAY, ISN'T IT! I LOVE THE SUMMER! BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SUMMER, WINTERSHINE?" He paused for dramatic effect. "...FIRES!"

This made Wintershine cock her head to the side with only a mild surprised look on her face, "Fires in summer? While you aren't wrong I haven't heard of any fires yet around the territory. Since you seem to like fires though if I hear of one near by I shall let you know. But speaking of lovely day I plan on taking you out to do some training out by Cadence Valley. Maybe if you do well enough I'll take you to a surprise treat I have in store. As it so happens I think you'll truly love it."
"OH, AWESOME," Hotpaw said. "THAT SOUNDS REALLY COOL, WINTERSHINE. YOU'RE ON FIRE TODAY! NOT LITERALLY, BUT IT WOULD ALSO BE COOL IF YOU WERE LITERALLY ON FIRE. BUT I HOPE THAT'S NOT THE SURPRISE BECAUSE YOU WOULD GET HURT."

"I agree a fire would hurt and am glad I am not on fire. Thank you for the kind compliment though Hotpaw I appreciate it." Wintershine was not put off by what he said but instead took it in stride. It wasn't so much that she was being nice (which she was genuinely nice) but sincerely took what he said literally. He wasn't wrong by any means...fire did hurt even though it did look pretty. "What do you think I will be teaching you first today?"
