Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
the cross eyed tom made his way out of the apprentice den, taking a glance back to be positive he hadn’t disturbed anyone. It was midday, the sun high in the sky. Usually, he wouldn’t go out on his own like this, especially not during the day, but he didn’t want to be seen. The young cat slips quickly out of camp, bursting out at full speed once he could no longer see camp.
Puddlepaw didn’t know where he was running to, or why. His paws itched with the need to leave, and be anywhere else besides where he was. He felt like an outcast in his clan, lonely from the other apprentices. He wasn’t smart, he wasn’t a good fighter. Puddlepaw finds himself at the edge of the River, overlooking the rogue territories. What was life like on the other side? Rustling brings him back to reality, and he turns quickly to find a pair of eyes in the brush.

He didn't mean to spy, but Moonpaw had been working on his little hunting crouch all week. Sagepaw's help had been amazing, and he finally got the hang of the whole balance thing, but he was still having trouble with creeping through the undergrowth without making a sound. The tom really thought he had it this time, creeping through the bushes, when he suddenly realized he wasn't alone. Was that Puddlepaw? He had met the other cat a couple of times, but he wasn't exactly close to him, per se.
Still, he didn't want to interrupt, and he was about to leave, when he stepped on a branch and almost fell, the bush rustling enough for the other apprentice to look towards him, their eyes meeting. Oh rats, he grimaced, as he popped his head out.
"Sorry!" he gasped, having the gall to at least look embarrassed, "I wasn't spying on you, I promise!"
Puddlepaw sighs deeply when he hears and sees the other cat, his head glancing back at the river again. "Would you tell me about what's on the other side? Do you remember life outside any of this?'
Puddlepaw, the poor fellow, felt so out of place where he was. But he wondered, would that be a feeling that he carried with him everywhere? "Don't really mind if you were spyin' on me." he admits. at least that meant someone cared about him enough to follow him through the woods before he met the challenge of leaving and never returning.

Moonpaw blinked at the other apprentice. Huh, so Puddlepaw remembered that he wasn't exactly born here. That was no surprise; there weren't all too many outsiders in the clan in the first place. Sitting next to the other apprentice, he hummed in thought for a moment.
"To be honest, I was pretty young when we were wandering around," he admitted, "so my memory isn't the best, but I remember there was a barn out there. Like...one of those two-leg dens where they just keep all the soft hay and other things. There were a lot of mice there, so we weren't hungry at least, but...I remember a lot of forest. It was pretty dark too. Then I remember we went past somewhere with a lot of water once. I think it was probably another clan's territory."
He turned to Puddlepaw curiously. "Why did you want to know? Is something wrong?"
