Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It had been quite a while since Mastershrine completed his training and gained his warrior name, but that didn't mean that his schedule changed. Even now, the dark grey tabby got up early every morning to train out in the forest. His mentor, Lightember, had never pushed him, but it was a routine that he had since he was a kit. Get up, do laps around the camp, and train. Jayjack had made sure of that. Nothing had changed since back then, except for the losses that followed. His siblings hadn't lasted long with the training and had left, but for some reason, Mastershrine still stayed. However, it was only recently that doubts had been planted in his head about this - perhaps it was still from Lightember's questions, or it was his own whispers in his mind. He wasn't sure.
What Mastershrine did know, however, was that his body was currently tired from his assault on a tree, and he slumped down to rest underneath it. Just a few moments, he told himself. Soon, he will get back to training.
Having been silent on his approach, Rivergale had watched the tom for a while, his brown and white tabby pelt hidden in the shadows. He hadn't quite understood the other toms assault on the poor tree, but still stood aside otherwise. Once Mastershine seemed to have worn himself out is when Rivergale made his presence known.
"You okay?" the tom asked, coming up slowly behind his Clanmate. He didn't know what was bothering the warrior, but he was sure it wasn't good. A small frown pulled at his lips as he looked his Clanmate over, Mastershine looking sorry and hunched over on himself.
"You're okay right?" The ginger-and-white she cat stood over the warrior. poised, one paw raised as she contemplated prodding the tabby but she wasn't sure if he would freak out if she touched him or not. Bloomingpaw wasn't out training exactly, instead she was picking flowers as usual, though it was a habit she needed to cut back on if she wasn't to stop incurring the wrath of Jayjack, or rather so he didn't try to cut her with his words again. When she saw her clan-mate slumped under a tree worry stabbed at her pelt. She hadn't been in the clan for long but, these were he clan-mates now and they all had to look out for each other.
"Please be okay, I don't know if any of the flowers I picked are actually useful for this kind of thing."
One moment, Mastershrine thought he had been alone, and the next, two clanmates were rushing (or walking, in Rivergale's case) towards him, both asking if he was okay. He could only blink in shock for a few moments, confusion washing over him at this turn of events. Finally, the tom got his senses back, and he glanced at both of the cats. "I just needed a breath," he said, turning his gaze to the flowers that Bloomingpaw held. "I'm fine, don't worry."
It was such an odd feeling, though. He was still quite confused at the concern that Bloomingpaw and Rivergale were showing him, but mostly at the fact that they both just... appeared. He really needed to be more aware of his surroundings, huh?
Rivergale looked the fellow warrior over, giving him a curious sniff. He could feel the heat coming off the toms pelt from his exercising, but other than that he seemed fine. "Might wanna get a drink of water to help you cool off," he commented, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. Rivergale turned his stormy gaze over to the apprentice, giving a dip of his head in a greeting. "Watcha doing with all those flowers anyway?" he asked with a tilt of his head.
