Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. It sure is one hot day in spring clan today and being the annoying little apprentice Acepaw is he decides to go to the lake...but he meets and unexpected friend on the way
"its sooo hoooot" acepaw wined laying down. he was sitting in the apprentice den trying to get out of the heat but nothing was working. all of his friends had left to go do other things out of the camp and he was bored and hot. he wasn't aloud to leave the camp because apparently accidentally leading a set of fox cubs right to the camp was frowned upon. "its not my fault they followed me home" he thought to him self. he wanted to sneak out but need to be sure nobody was watching him.

She had a strange feeling that someone was wanting to get themselves in trouble. It wasn't a logical or rational conclusion, but rather one of instinct. Following that instinct, the little she-kit made her way towards the apprentice den. It was always the apprentices. Maybe she could make a friend, she would be an apprentice before long and it would be nice to know somebody outside of her littermates. Poking her head inside, she peered around the den with her pale lilac eyes and spotted Acepaw laying down.
"It's too hot to be laying in a nest, don't you think?" She suddenly chirped in a high but clear voice. She blinked a few times, feeling curious as to what an apprentice was doing here by himself at this time of day. On such a hot day too.
Acepaw shot his head up surprised to hear the small voice. he looked up to see a small kit he didn't know standing in the entrance. "Believe me i would love to leave" he said rolling his eyes. almost instantly he switch to a very happy tone "Thats why im going to the lake i just need to wait till nobody is looking" he said. he probably shouldn't have said anything to the kit about trying to sneak out but it was hot and he wasn't thinking.

This was a great opportunity for her, her mother and littermates were preoccupied, her father was out of camp doing who knows what, and here was a perfect opportunity to sneak out. "I can help you. I like going down by the lake, my parents take me on field trips down there sometimes. I can make a good distraction if need be and scout the way." It didn't seem particularly difficult as the camp was pretty empty. It was mostly just kits and elders.
he was a little shocked that this kit was willing to help. "not that i need it" he thought to himself. "ok fine...cmon before anyone gets back" he said in a hushed tone to the kit. he walked out of the den trying to be as suddle as possible the kit followed him close by and they both walk cautiously to the entrance after they finialy got out they hid in a bush till they new what to do. "now what?" he asked to the kit. he didn't think that far ahead yet.

She blinked at him as if confused by what he meant. "We go down to the lake, obviously." Her eyes unfocused for a moment and she seemed to stare off into nowhere before being startled back to reality. "We won't run in to anyone if we go this way." She headed in the direction of the lake. This was the way they normally went to get to the water's edge. Normally kits weren't let out of camp but she had gotten lucky.
Lo and behold, they did not encounter anyway on their way their. "See, we're here. It was easy." She immediately moved forward and stood in the very shallows of the water, sighing with relief. "It feels great to dip your paws like this."
if acepaw was good at one thing its jumping. he walked backwards away from the lake and ran full force twordes the water jumping in right t the edge soaking the poor kit. for some reason acepaw new how to swim he didn't know why its just something he picked up on. he dosent really swim often because it makes his fur heavy on him but he swam around for a while not really paying attention to the kit. the kit was right it felt nice on a hot day like this.

Chrysoprasekit splashed around the shallow little area, letting out a large shriek followed by a giggle when a frog jumped away from her. She chased it a ways before doubling back, her pelt absolutely soaked but it had been fun to chase the little creature for a while. She wasn't hungry for frog so chasing it was good enough for her. She had been questioning lately if she should even become a warrior or if she should consider her other options.
"So why were you in the camp anyways? Seems weird." The silver tabby turned her attention back to the apprentice she had snuck out with.
poped back into reality when he heard the kit. "i accidentally led a pack of fox cubs to the camp" he said rolling his eyes "it wasnt that big of a deal" he crawled out of the water and tried to shake the water out. he layed down watching the kit play when he started to yawn. he slowly drifted to sleep.

She tilted her head and watched as he lay down and drifted off to sleep. What a strange cat, of course it was a big deal. Well, at least no one was hurt or she would have heard about it much sooner. She went ashore herself and sat down, watching the horizon over the water and bathing in the sun. It was a really nice day and she wondered what her family was doing right about now.
Acepaw was woken suddenly by a shaking in the bushes near by. he didnt know what it was but stood over the kit just in case. "if i get caught ill sure be in more trouble especially since i have a kit with me." he thought to himself slightly scared at whats in the bushes. he un sheathed his claws and jumped at whatever was in the bush. l (i dont know if thats how u spell it)

She was too fearless by nature. Her ears perked up and she watched the apprentice jumping on the bush. "Is there anything in there?" She asked curiously, taking a step forward as he disappeared but did not answer her question. "Acepaw?" She asked again, shoving her head inside of the bush.
he jumped into the bush only to land on the back of a huge thing. he didn't know what it was but he started tearing at its back. the big flipped over landing on acepaw with a thud knocking the wind out of him. once acepaw caught his breath he tried to wiggle his way out away from the thing but it swung at him drawing a decent amount of blood. he yowled loudly and bit at the things face and neck, after a couple more blows he finally killed the thing. he still had no idea what it was but he got up and dragged it out of the bush. once he got out he realized everything was spinning. he had many cuts and bruises on him. he was bleeding the worst right over his eye and on his back leg. he stood there for a few seconds not saying anything until he past out and hit the floor.

She stood frozen, watching the scene before her unfold with horror. She had no clue what that thing was, but she was pretty sure it was dead. "Acepaw! Are you okay?" She asked, rushing over and poking his with her nose, trying to wake up the cat. She was no medicine cat and she was far too small to take him back to camp on her own. Should she run and get help? "Acepaw, wake up please!"
(If you choose not to have him wake up I can have my warrior Wolfsgrin come and collect them, he is... quite the character lol)

She took off running, panic sweeping through her. He wouldn't wake up and she didn't know what to do! "Help! Somebody please help!" She shouted, slamming into a large siamese tom like a brick wall. "Please help! I think Acepaw is dying!"
Wolfsgrin had heard the little she-kits pleas for help and followed her back to where the apprentice lay bleeding out. They were so lucky he knew a thing or two about stopping bleeding. He swooped some cobwebs from a nearby push and instructed the she-kit to apply as much pressure as they could. He continue to find more until finally there was a white patch and no more new blood was seeping through.
"Tsk tsk looks like he had quite the fight " the Tom mused, looking at the nearby dead creature. It was both foolish and impressive. "We need to stay here until he stabilizes. You're too young to be out here on your own." And so they waited for the young cat to wake up on his own. The medicine cat would neat to treat him once they could move him safely.
he opened his eyes only to find himself in a dark cave. "hello..? is anybody here?!" he got up and saw a small light. hesitantly he walked to it..." walk to us. Walk to the light. follow our voices..Walk to the light." he started hearing whispers but the closer he got the louder they got. as some point he couldn't handle it and ran back. everything started spinning and the whispers started getting even louder. tears threatened to fall from his eyes, he covered his ears and shut his eyes tight. things started fading out and everything started getting quieter.
(not a dream) he woke up with a shake and panicked breathing heavy. he didn't know what was happening or wear he was all he knew right now was that he was cold and in a lot of pain.

"He's awake!" Chrysoprasekit kit shouted, jumping up onto her paws. She had been sitting and waiting for something - anything - to happen.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Wolfsgrin sat there grooming himself as the apprentice came-to. He finished up his paw and then stepped forward, checking the cobwebs. "Well, he's alive at least but he needs proper attention. I know the basics, but I am no medicine cat. Do you think you can walk if you lean against me?" It certainly wasn't ideal but he couldn't safely carry the apprentice and he couldn't send a kit out on her own either. Their best bet was to help him walk until they could get help or got to camp.
