"Wow!" Crowpaw meowed when he took in the whole scene. The mist was already making him feel cooler. And there spanning over the pool was a shimmering rainbow. He too had never seen one but he had heard about them from the elder's tales. "Let's see if there's really a puddle of honey and fresh kill at it's end!" he meowed to Sunpaw. He darted off to receive his treasure but the farther he went toward the rainbow the more it retreated until it vanished from his sight. "It was just right here!" he meowed looking down at a place near the water's edge.

"It's still there," Fisherpounce replied. "You're standing in the end of it. Don't get your feet sticky from all the honey," he added teasingly. From Fisherpounce's vantage point, the young apprentice was indeed standing in one end of the rainbow.
