Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Was it just her or were these things getting smaller? It felt like the other clans were turning away from StarClan one by one and now there were so few clans mingling in the velvet twilight, Sunpaw able to discern the scents of NightClan, SpringClan, and FallClan among the familiar, fragrant smell of SummerClan. She didn't particularly care about the other clans' belief systems---so long as they kept it on their side of the borders, unlike SunClan and their Ray program or whatever---but it did mean there were fewer cats around to fawn over her luscious cream fur and extravagant flower crowns, each one unique for every new Gathering she attended. She was about to make her way across to the SpringClan apprentice she knew. Celestialpaw, when she noticed a tom beside her, which must have been that cat she kept mentioning that was definitely her boyfriend even if she didn't say, so Sunpaw opted to turn away, colliding right into the cat behind her. "Hey, watch where you're going," she complained even though it was clearly her fault.
Ceruleanpaw blinks a few times, his deep blue eyes filled with a cross between interest and shock. "Watch where I'm going? Princess, you backed into me." His voice is teasing, nothing truly upset. He eyes the other apprentice up and down a few times before tilting his head, smiling just a tad. "I can't say I'm upset though, it's not everyday a beautiful girl runs right into my paws." For Cerulean, flirting came easy. The compliments were quick to roll off his tongue, the smile on his muzzle easy. He was a handsome cat, no doubt. His markings swirled like ink along his back, black over a silver coat. In the moonlight, he almost glowed. "I'm Ceruleanpaw." He dips his head in greeting. "But you could call me anything you'd like."
She was the type to fire back hastily and unreservedly, but Ceruleanpaw's charm killed the fight on her tongue just enough that Sunpaw lowered her guard, her maw shifting to a coy smile. "Well I guess this is your lucky night, handsome. Aren't there any pretty cats in..." She leaned forward and drew in his scent, a refreshing breath of fresh rain clinging to his coat, and she pulled back when she realized she was lingering too close for too long. "...NightClan? Of course," she added, recovering her composure and assurance, "you won't find anyone like me anywhere else. You'll just have to be disappointed forever." Sunpaw wasn't as flirtatious as he clearly was, but she had an easy seductiveness simply by the way she presented herself, confident and proud. Ceruleanpaw had the same quality, perhaps the reason she found him interesting.
"mmm, no one quite as beautiful as yourself." The sly smirk never leaves his face, the shine in his eyes handsome and inviting. He tilts his head so Sunpaw can catch his scent just a tad easier. He was impressed how easily she figured out where he was from, a slight flick of the tail showing this emotion but nothing more. He leans in the same as she had, mostly to have a close proximity rather than to figure out where she was from. However, the salt on her pelt spoke for her home as well. "And you're from Summerclan?" Again, he allows his eyes to linger longer than he would've, but this whole flirting ordeal was working out wonderfully for him. He takes a glance around, feeling the heat of too many pelts at once. He sweeps his tail, pointing towards a more secluded area from the gathering.
She noted his approval with a smirk, always one to impress and reveling in the pleasure of succeeding in that. "I'm afraid someone like me is just a dime a dozen," she laughed, heading towards the spot he indicated and sweeping up some moss to cushion the earth, erecting a small, plushy bed for herself. SummerClan cats did not want for conforts and luxuries, that was for sure. "I'm impressed. I didn't think you NightClanners cared enough to learn the other clans; you all strike us as secretive," she mused, tipping her head to the side so the moonshine could catch in her gaze, bottled starlight glimmering brightly up at him. "But if you must know, you're in the presence of SummerClan royalty. My Papi is Ratstar and my Momma is the greatest Garden Keeper, and I have my own Knight. Pretty neat, huh?"
