The Private Meeting
Regulus E'tan walked over to the abandoned building looking around making sure no random cats were around. The dark tom didn't want any distractions during this meeting, so was double checking everything to be on the safe side. Feeling that everything was secure the Nemesis walked into the old shed, choosing to sit down in the middle of the room. He had been watching this place for sometime and no two legs ever seemed to come around here. It would work for a rendezvous point. Since stepping into the leader spot things had been rather interesting for the League. On the one hand they had more cats joining their group, which had become extremely helpful with the extra work load everyone had been given. There had been more younglings and trainees in the group and even a permanent surrogate spy to take in any younglings abandoned or orphaned out in the city. With strong numbers also came stronger hunters, which everyone so far had proven themselves useful. He was proud of his Assassins, External Proxy, and Internal Proxy for their hard work dedicating to improving the League as well as the hard training they put their respective trainees in. Even the new Shaman and Mage were proving beneficial stepping up curing any illnesses or injuries the members would occasionally get. Scratch that, they constantly had new injuries due to fighting amongst the other cats in the city. With this thought Regulus frowned. He was waiting to hear the reports come in, but from what he had seen it seemed supplies were getting dreadfully low within the city in more ways than one. The Nemesis could feel that he himself had become lighter...could see it on everyone's faces. He knew they couldn't stay in the city forever...not with how big they were growing. It was starting to attract unwanted attention to the two legs which was very dangerous to the League. When he had stepped up Regulus had hoped to move them out somewhere safe but unfortunately being from the city he knew that nowhere around here would work for them. They needed to make changes and fast if they were to endure. This time though he had a team he could depend on. Hopefully they could all come up with a plan to save everyone.

Meanwhile Back At Camp...
Felix walked back towards the prey pile as he dropped a measly looking mouse into it. It was laughable to call it a pile but more like a few mere scraps here and there that could at best be considered a snack. The orange cat gave a long sigh. It's not like he would eat anything anyway...he hadn't had an appetite for a short bit now after the loss of his best friend. He was just going through the motions at this rate. What brought him back to reality was being bumped into by a mass of white fur. A hiss was met with a sneer from the white tom Adrian, "What do you call this?? This must be a joke. This is the best you could find? Pitiful." Felix glared back "If you could do better than do so instead of complaining like a soft kittypet!" Felix felt his fur rise in quick anger but was met with a smirk and chuckle. "Oooo what's wrong? Mad that I called you out on your terrible hunting skills? Please. We both know I can do better than you and have. However its my down time and don't wish to waste anymore of it on such a miserable ball of fur like you. Why don't you go back to that junk of a shed you call art and- oops that's right. It got crushed, right? Along with that weirdo Rosalia-" Next thing Adrian knew Felix lunged himself at him, hissing and snarling trying to tear fur off of the arrogant hunter. Felix knew Adrian was just trying to get a rise out of him since Adrian was as miserable and hungry as they all were but as soon as he brought up Rosalia something snapped...everything turned red...

Feather kit was starving. ever since she had her first piece of fresh kill nothing ever seemed to tast as good...but things were getting harder now less food and more fights...she even thought about going off on her own again but figured it wasnt the best thing to do. she wasnt close with a lot of cats but she couldnt just up and leave not now. featherkit was sitting outside the nursery when all of a sudden she heard...two cats fighting?! she wasnt scared or anything but she did run into the nursery to get someone.

Trish had been in the den trying to make things comfortable for all the younglings and herself. She was bigger in size by her unborn children but that was about it. If she hadn't been pregnant she would look pretty skinny. However she did not complain, after all The League had allowed her to stay and as long as she did her job they did theirs. It had been harder though with all of the new faces being seen in camp...just like herself. The white and grey she cat wouldn't leave yet...she had been in rougher times but it seemed things would get worse if something wasn't done soon...just then she heard the puttering of small feet scurrying into the den. Trying to carefully get to her paws the spy looked to see Feather-chan run in. "Hey what's going on Feather-chan? Done playing for the day?"
featherkit quickly padded in the den tripping over a small rock. "theres a fight going on outside" she said as she got up from the ground. she didnt sound frightened or even fazed at all about what she was saying, normally a kit would be at least a bit scared bur featherkit didn't seem to care. this stuff was happening more often now because of the low food and other problems so it didn't bother her at all. Trish had said something and ran out but featherkit wasnt listening she just whent to go lay in a corner and think. she thought joining this group would help her but its just starting to become just like the city and she knew if nothing was changed soon she might as well just leave...she new basically how to hunt she new how to defend herself and she had multiple spots she could sleep anyway.
It just so happened that Rami-kun had been walking by the fresh kill pile, ignoring the growl of his stomach, intending to leave camp. For once, it seemed like he wasn't the one starting trouble - surprising, yes, but there was still a basically full day ahead to accomplish that. "Woah, woah," he started, his fur on edge as he slowly approached Felix and Adrian, "Some people are trying to walk here! Pick a less inconvenient place to murder each other!" He had only managed to catch the last few words of their argument, but it was obvious enough what the true cause of the fight was. Everyone was on edge lately, it seemed. Rami-kun actually had to start being careful with his words and who he hit on now, especially since he valued his life. That didn't mean that he was good at it, though.

At hearing a fight was going on Trish made her way outside quickly but not before asking Feather-chan to stay put please. Trish froze as she saw the two cats locked in battle. Normally she would jump in and try to break the fight herself but being as far along as she was it would be too dangerous to just jump in. Instead she tried to find someone that could do it. Where was Pandora? Orion? Ugh
Luminance-chan heard the chaos but had no clue what was going on. Watching Feather-chan walk in possibly they would know what was going on? So the Japanese Bobtail slowly walked up to the other youngling with curiosity in her gaze. "Hey so...what is all that noise outside?" frogtoast
Finnbar-kun watched from afar but said nothing. This wasn't his buisness nor problem, but what caught his eye was seeing his long time comrade Rami-kun. The ex leader of the Lost Boys casually walked past the chaos towards his friend. "Hey you holding up alright?" lavellan
Orange and white flashed along with fangs and claws. Hissing, spitting, growling...it was hard to tell where one started and one began. Felix was in full throttle with no true thoughts from himself. Just pure rage and instinct drove him. Adrian found himself barely hanging in there. Anytime he tried to escape Felix had him pinned, causing the white tom to be on the defense. He sure got himself caught in a pickle.

feather popped out of thought when she heard a familiar voice. she looked up to see Luminance-chan standing in front of her with a slightly worried face. "theres a fight going on out side by the fresh kill pile no big deal" feather-chan said curling her thick tail over her paws. she looked at the other kits small stub of a tail almost feeling bad. feather loved her thick tail and couldnt imagine not having it she would be devastated.

Loxias-kun spotted his two friends Rami and Finnabar off in the distance. Noticing the pair of fighting toms he made it quick to get out of their way. Making for a quick dash in their direction. The three legged tom avoided the pair of fighting adults in the process. Coming to a hault beside his friends he dipped his head in a greeting to the pair. “Lively bunch aren’t they?” He commented gesturing towards Felix and Adrian.
Elizabeth sat in the corner of camp, her pale blue gaze following the lively proceedings with disinterest. Her mind was on the secret meeting Regulus E’tan and his proxies had spirited away to. She wondered how they planned to address the growing mess that the city was becoming, and the looming threat of the two-legs. Her tail tip flicked with annoyance. While they dictated these important matters, she was stuck here watching two grown toms fight over a piece of prey. She clenched her jaw, willing herself to be patient.
feather-kun eventually got bored and didn't feel like talking to anyone so she got up and padded out of the den. she was supposed to become and apprentice already but with all these high tensions she hasten gotten to yet. she figure she could go practice her hunting skills and maybe even bring something back if she was lucky. she started padding towards the entrance until she bumped into a familiar face...
For a moment, Rami-kun stood frowning at the fighting duo, slightly annoyed with being ignored. What had he expected though, they were too far in their own world. He would probably have to physically insert himself into the fight if he wanted them to actually stop, and that wasn't going to happen. Before he could decide what to do, Finnbar-kun approached him. "What, worried about me?" he replied, giving his friend a wink as the frown melted off of his face. Turning slightly, he offered Loxias-kun a grin as the tom joined them. "Don't suppose you've got any water laying around to pour on them? No? What a shame, they could use a little cooling off." ashestoashes @dot
"Hey! Stop it!" Acacia Blair had spent much of her life in several different groups. First SwiftClan, then SummerClan, then SunClan and now the League. All of her prior homes had their own hold-ups but never had she seen two cats fight like this over a piece of prey. The tortoiseshell trans she-cat, acting on a rare instinct she'd inherited from her mother, tried to force herself right between Felix and Adrian. She knew it would mean a few scratches, but anything to stop the chaos, "You're not helping anybody by fighting like this! Calm down!"
~*~
"Ah, nothing like a couple hot-blooded toms fighting over table-scraps. The only thing that would make them better was if they were more interesting animals, like badgers or bobcats."
Crice was laying down leisurely in a patch of shade, her front paws crossed in front of her and her trademark stick laying at her side. The dark-furred she-cat always looked a bit skeletal, so it was hard to tell if she was suffering with the rest of them or not, but she didn't seem too bothered by the present famine. In fact, she looked about as calm as could be.
"Oh, dear. Acacia, darling, let them fight it out please...," She said when her niece interrupted the fight, but it didn't seem like the other she-cat had heard her. Sighing, Circe laid her head on her paws and waited for whatever would happen next.

"Point me to the nearest river and I will give them a friendly shove." Loxias-kun winked at Rami and Finnabar. Glancing away from the fighting toms and directing his attention to his friends.

Idiots. This group was full of idiots. Rhiannon rolled her eyes as she glanced over at the fighting cats. "Maybe you should join them," she muttered to her brother, "seems like your type of party." The other tom snorted in amusement, approaching with an amusement; he always did like a free show, as gruesome as it was.
"You don't have to be so rude, sister dear," he chuckled, "and who knows, maybe I will if others do...seems like a personal problem between them though. I wonder if we'll see anyone die today."
Bermondsey looked unamused. Infighting was common of course–this was Primal Instinct, if they weren't tearing at each other's throats, he'd be worried–but this was ridiculous. He had no time for this, and had all the cats here turned soft? Just watching from afar, as if waiting for some idiotic hero to save them? His tail twitched in amusement as another cat seemed to jump in. At least one of them had any sense; there was no use in a dead body other than one less mouth to feed.
He felt sympathetic today. Padding up and standing next to Acacia, he gave Felix a shove. "Try not to kill someone over a scrap of prey," he spoke coldly, "it's unbecoming of us to be reduced to savages over something so little as food."
The grin on Rami-kun's face only grew wider at Loxias-kun's response, and he returned his gaze to the pair and the cats who had decided to intervene. "You think we could do that?" he said. "Say that we're hosting a party by the river and just push whoever needs a little cool down in. Or would it be easier to just bring the river here, y'think?" @dot

"You know as interesting as it would be to throw these fools into the water lets take a pause on that for now. However I still like the idea." Finnbar-kun chuckled to his comrades. "Do a pool party sometime and just throw cats in. I think that would be excellent."
Felix felt something push him away from Adrian and finally felt himself come back. From where he did not know, all he knew was that he had been mad beyond all reason then just didn't exist. Looking down at himself he was tufts of fur were lose as well as a few minor scratches here and there on him but nothing bad. Looking up the orange tom was shocked to see so many looking at him. He was confused why, why was everyone looking their way either in disgust, unamused, or concerned? Then he noticed Adrian who looked ghastly. Blood was here and there on him fur flying in every which direction and one of his eyes closed. Panting the other tom got to his legs and quickly scurried towards the shaman's den waiting to be healed whenever they returned. Felix meanwhile turned to look at the cat that spoke to him finding Acacia and Bermondsey there. "I uh...I...It wasn't about food...I...am confused."
Adrian ran like a dog tail between his legs but in his mind he had been the winner and was the gracious one for letting Felix think he won. Letting him go to do whatever he wanted yes...that's right...Felix was at fault. The one who started it. He had been just minding his own business and merely gave his kind helpful opinion to the tom when the crazed devil attacked. However he was such an amazing fighter he held his own until he had been saved by Bermondesy. Lucky day for Felix...
Trish shook her head. This was ridiculous. Doesn't matter if things were hard at the moment, they needed to keep their heads up and not lose focus on what they were all trying to do for now: survive.
(Feel free to start shenanigan's for yourselves if you want! Maybe its a fight or awkward love confession! Go nuts XD)

Bermondsey didn't care about the actual fight really other than what he had witnessed. He rolled his eyes at the separating two, shaking his head. "I'm surrounded by idiots," he muttered. What a waste of herbs, he thought, especially at a time like this. He knew that Charlotte had been finding it difficult to source the amount of herbs she needed to fix every scrape and bruise, and frankly, he didn't think these two even deserved it. This whole fight was meaningless, he thought dryly as he headed towards the meeting, and as entertaining as it was, they should've died rather than waste precious supplies that the league couldn't risk losing.
Acacia hadn't noticed Bermondsey standing so close to her until he spoke, her attention up until now totally devoted to the fighting toms. She let out a tiny little squeak and blushed bright red, swiftly side-stepping in a safe distance, her heart beating a mile a minute. She had much to pure a heart for a League cat. Her feelings were written on her face.
"You... you were acting like kits, that's what you were doing!" She tried to mask her embarrassment with concern and it worked okay, although anyone who knew her at all could tell she was acting strange, "... But... thank you for stopping before either of you got really hurt. Do you want me to help clean your wounds? I don't have any proper medical training but I know how to do that much at least." achromaticashestoashes

He had glowered at the cats as the drama started to fade, he almost didn't notice the cat who spoke to him. He finally turned to Acacia, his eyes softening for a brief moment before changing back to the usual expression he held, an unreadable expression placed expertly once more.
The two cats didn't look very good. "Make sure they get cleaned up but don't bother Charlotte for any herbs, we're not wasting it on two idiots who decided to get into a scrap for no bloody reason," he grumbled, before walking away.
Rami-kun gave an exaggerated nod as the ex-leader of the Lost Boys spoke. "See? It's a great idea! I think we should mark it down for sometime next moon, y'think? It should still be plenty hot out for it. We'll need to go scouting at some point to find the best place to throw it." As he spoke, he watched as Adrian fled from the fight and the lecture began. With a deep sigh, Rami-kun motioned to where Felix still stood. "It seems the entertainment is over."
