Glowstar stepped down into the tunnels, but unlike in other insta- no wait, Glowstar always just walked right on into peoples territories, almost never waiting around for permission. Yup, perfectly normal behavior. Glowstar sashayed down the winding corridors with Yuccablossom, Disloyaldog, and Foxbane close behind her. Gravel had apparently been held up in the Regime for sometime now, which Disloyaldog lacked the brain capacity to think that something was off when Gravel didn't come back home. But when questioned about why he wouldn't say anything, he just replied that he did that all the time, so why was it weird if Gravel did. Nonetheless Gravel was being held prisoner in the Regime, or in other words, underneath DayClan where she had allowed them all to live despite the fact that they didn't have to give up their entire underground to them.
However there was one guest that was seemingly there for no reason, Foxbane. It was an accidentally well kept secret at this point that more than anytime in DayClan's lifetime cats had been killed under tragic circumstances and completely vanished. These incidents went all the way up to the top. Fia Cendrillion was eaten alive by a pack of dogs. Windchaser left for a hunt, never returned. Goldenphantom was taken down by a pack of wolves. It left only Yuccablossom as an Immortal Council member, which left many to wonder who would fill in the empty slots.
"SHULE!"
Glowstar's voice tore through the air like roaring winds sending echoes that boomed like thunder down the tunnels paths.
Superior Sean was the first to show up, he hadn't even recognized it was Glowstar who had spoken until he walked out, spotting her and her patrol up ahead. Yuccablossom made sense to be there, but Disloyaldog and Foxbane being present was confusing. Unless they were both the new Immortal Council members, they would be next in line for the popular vote taken in DayClan a season or so ago.

Foxbane made sure to stick close to Glowstar, as much to protect herself as to protect her mate. Now, Glowstar didn't usually need protecting, but when dealing with Shule... she could never be too cautious. The Commander had cost her one of her lives, cost Funk a life, and almost killed Glowstar for mere associations to such incidents without leaving the DayClan leader time to explain. If not for her mate, she probably wouldn't have gone, it wasn't like Vixenkismet actually cared for Gravelshell. The former WaterClan leader and the Commander would probably get along, prison or no. She couldn't help the faint smile drifting across her features at the booming sound of Green's voice, though she just barely kept in her comment about the she-cat being especially hot when she was angry.
Surprisingly, Shule wasn't altogether that far behind her husband. The moment she heard the voice, there was almost a groan in her voice, and she stepped up beside Sean with a cool frown on her face, eyeing the patrol of cats with increasing amounts of suspicion. Yuccablossom made sense, Disloyaldog wasn't out of the ordinary, but she could already feel the hair on the back of her neck rising as her gaze passed over Foxbane, gaze seeming to freeze over as she did so, until her eyes swept back over to Glowstar. "You've gotten my attention, so what's the meaning of bringing such a patrol for a... visit, Glowstar."
Normally the coldest gaze Glowstar would give was seeing right through the person, like they weren't even there. But this time she stared straight into Shule with a look that reflected every ounce of molten hot blue hell fire spilling from her gaze. She looked like an angel that had come back from hell, burned too many times, ready to fight anyone who would try to drag her back.
"I'm going to warn you right frigging now that you're not even talking to Glow so don't mess with me and talk about visits. You took Gravel and never told me. No, actually, the more repulsing fact is that I visit your life and try to have fun anytime I see you. But anytime you walk into my life I get screwed over by you. Every. Time. I don't want your cold short word answers, I don't want to see your claws. You're going to bring Gravel over to me. Because I didn't just let you screw over MY ENTIRE CLAN for you to do this to me. We turned away from StarClan to support YOU. To stay allies with YOU. And ever since we've been going through hell so the least you can do is stop taking from me. So the next words out of your mouth better be to get Gravel over here or we're done."
Sean gave a look of disgust before rolling his eyes like he was dealing with an untamed child, "How about you ask nicely and we'll think about it. You can't expect us to do it now, not when you threatened us like this. Making us come off as weak for complying."
"I came in my daylight form as my last symbol of respect that I am showing to you. I am of no threat, but if you take your time that will dwindle down significantly," Glowstar said before turning to Commander Shule, "Your move."

Commander Shule withstood Green's gaze with an expression almost as cold. For a moment, she didn't know why the leader was here, but the moment she mentioned Gravel it all made sense. She forgot. Which, in any other context, with any other cat, they'd probably just figure it was a one off thing, but the two leaders never had too blood between them to begin with. Mostly Shule having a problem with Green, a fact that had never gone away, especially when the she-cat had chosen to be with Foxbane.
Without a word, she spun around and began walking away, leaving the DayClan leader to think she was done with her, for all of a half second before her tail twitched in indication for her to follow, her paw resting gently on Sean's shoulder. Perhaps she did so for strength, or to tell him to stand down, regardless, she headed for Gravelshell's prison, refusing to look back to see if the other came along. "Follow, if you wish to see her. But do not lie to me, Green, and claim yourself to be no threat when you bring unnecessarily bring someone who's caused harm to my family here." Her words were cold and stern as she walked at a brisk pace, simply presuming the she-cat would follow. If she didn't, that was as good as an answer in return. "As for StarClan, you will not put the problems they've caused, or your clan's choice to turn from their ancestors on me and the Regime. I did NOT ask you to abandon them for our alliance, and I will not be belittled for a choice your clan made. If you valued StarClan so much, you'd never have turned from them in the first place, and if they are putting you through hell for it, then that is STARCLAN who is at fault."
They were at the prison sooner rather than expected, as she turned her head to meet Green's eyes again, her own frigid with frost. "If you genuinely believe the Regime is to blame for your suffering due to your clan's choices and StarClan's actions, then you can take Gravelshell and get out. Because clearly nothing I can say, if that's the case, will change your mind." She motioned into the cell, the Mercenaries guarding it stepping aside to allow the Commander and her entourage inside. GidgetGal
Gravelshell let out a dramatic groan as she flopped over onto her side, completely exhausted from a day chock-filled with...pacing back and forth and not much else, as her days had been for the Quarter Moon she'd been stuck in the Renegade Regime's prison. Well, not exactly the Regime's prison; it was more like a crevice in the tunnel wall that barely constituted for a cave as her makeshift jail cell. Occasionally the Mercenaries guarding her would escort her to what the Regime called their HQ to stretch her legs and get fresh air, but most of the time she was trapped here. Initially, Commander Shule had said the tortoiseshell she-cat would get a proper trial for 'allegedly' stealing prey a couple days after being imprisoned...just her luck that her dear Aunt-in-law was apparently kidnapped a day or two later.
Her situation wasn't completely terrible though; the sickly young she-cat who brought Gravelshell's meals each day - whom she later discovered was one of old Commander Fjord's kits - was just a lovely little thing, and she'd also been able to briefly catch a glimpse of Wyverndelirium, of all cats. It made her glad to see her mentor's son was doing alright for himself, though she certainly never expected the Regime to be his new home of choice. As the former leader laid on the cold earth, debating whether to count the number of ridges in the cave wall...again...a sudden shout echoed down the tunnel, and she sat straight up. Was that Glowstar?
"Glowstar?!" She called, trying to elbow her way past the guards to see further down the tunnel. When the Commander approached with Glowstar, her husband, and daughter in tow, she sighed in relief. "Yucca...Luc..." she purred with a tired smile, thrilled beyond belief to see them. "Guess you never expected to see me here, huh. I'm so happy to see you both."
Glowstar followed Commander Shule, all the while keeping quiet, taking each word, forcing herself to turn over the sentences in her mind instead of swatting them away. By the time they got to the cell Glowstar's glare that was once matched Commander Shule's had lost all fire. The commanders words weighed down on her wild fire like rage, snuffing out the previous livid attitude she held.
She looked at the cell before stepping towards it, pausing by the edge. If you valued StarClan so much, you'd never have turned from them in the first place.
"I would, by the way. Put aside heaven to help you even if I valued it above all else. I've put aside much more in the past. I put aside my protective nature the best I could after you taking those kits out of my life instead of allowing me one more day to be with them. I put aside my rightful anger when you took Funk's life, a courtesy you never spared me. But that's the truth that has been nearly incomprehensible for me until now, I love you and your family more than you'll ever love mine or me. So you could change my mind, but you won't. Because you're not willing to change."
Glowstar moved forward sliding down the crevice walls. Natural made prisons weren't exactly a challenge for her, more her specialty. "Gravel!" Glowstar purred before Disloyaldog barged past Glowstar and over to Gravel.
"GRAVEL!" Disloyaldog cheered, nuzzling into her before smiling excitedly, "UGH! It must be so much fun being in prison. Do you know I have never ONCE gone to prison, it is devastating. All of my siblings get to talk about being prisoner, but I guess it's how the phrase goes. Always the warden, never the prisoner. Anyways, how are you?"
"We've come to take you back home Gravel," Glowstar added with a smile that radiated with the warmth of summer sun beams, but somehow it lacked the normal happiness that usually wafted from her aura. "Don't worry, Fox is on guard up there to make sure they don't lock us up too and I told people where I was going for once ahead of time!"

Shule didn't have an answer for Glowstar's response. To be quite honest, she wasn't entirely wrong, though the Commander had half a mind to point out she'd been trying to help out Bluejay's kits. But she chose to remain silent for the moment as they reunited, her expression unchanged, though the cold seemed to fade away somewhat as the DayClan leader didn't yell back.
Foxbane, for her part, hovered in the background, waiting for Glowstar and Gravel and the rest to return to her. She still wasn't convinced she should be here, and she avoided looking at Shule. Being underground hadn't quite sat right with her every since the Regime had imprisoned her, and being so close to them, and to Shule, wasn't exactly something she wanted to be doing. But she was here for Green, so the least she could do was behave and try not to make the Regime leader more irritated.
Yuccablosom had been ever so patiently waiting for her chance to weigh in on Shule and Glowstar's argument. She didn't like how they were focusing on the whole StarClan thing when it wasn't the real problem between the two of them. Unfortunately, she just kept missing opportunities to interject. Their conversation was just too fast paced.
Then it happened - Things had slowed down and she had her moment. Opening her mouth, she took in a deep breath... and then her eyes settled on her mother's form and she literally melted, forgetting whatever she was about to say and instead exclaiming:
"MOM!"
She wanted to give Gravel a hug but, presently, there was no room. But this was no problem for Yuccablossom. She simply decided to shrink to half her size. This would likely be quite a shock for Gravel as Yuccablossom had never once mentioned her element to her. The tortoiseshell she-cat then wasted no time forcing herself right in between her mother and father, purring loudly all the while and covering both their faces with licks, "I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU! I do hope Shule has bee treating you well, she is a nice she-cat so I'm sure that's the case, but I'm confused. Why did she keep you down here so long if you were just stealing prey? Isn't that a bit... hypocritical? Because, like, all the prey here is technically DayClan's. We don't mind sharing it's just kinda weird that the Regime is so protective over one piece of prey especially since it's borrowed to begin with. So anyways I'm thinking something else is going on...? We should all just be honest with one another, it may be harder at first but the end result is always better!"
Ah yes, that was what she had wanted to ask Shule, but she'd gotten distracted and instead asked Gravel.

"I guess it's a party today." A new voice joined the scene, two more cats smelling faintly of the League seeming to appear rather suddenly. Of course, Gravel, Luc, and Yuccablossom would be able to recognize the pair. Florian and Skylar. They'd been abouy to step into DayClan's camp when they spotted the group on their way out, and after inquiring about why, they had chosen to trail along. Florian had been the one speaking, and he glanced between his parents and sibling with a strange expression, as if he wasn't used to seeing everyone together. "Who knew we'd have a family reunion in a prison?"
Gravelshell let out an exasperated purr of laughter as she leaned into Disloyaldog's embrace. Of course her mate would be the one to think spending half a moon in prison would be a fun time. At her daughter's interjection she glanced down to see...a somewhat smaller Yuccablossom than usual; she honestly had no idea what Glowstar was teaching her daughter, but that was a conversation for later. She was just happy to see them again. The tortoiseshell she-cat bent down and gave Yucca a few fond licks between the ears, just like she did when Yucca was a kit. "It shouldn't matter anyway, because I didn't steal prey," she insisted, shooting a look at Commander Shule. "The Commander has no solid proof of my guilt, though to my own chagrin there isn't any for my innocence either. I think we can all agree it was just a matter of unfortunate timing, that the Commander was kidnapped before I could have a proper trial. I think it's for the best if we all forget this little misunderstanding ever happened, alright?"
The former leader had always expected that Luc and Yucca, as scatterbrained as they were at times, would eventually come and rescue her. But when another, oh too familiar voice cut in, Gravel froze and turned to look over Glowstar's shoulder, before her face immediately lit up. "Florian! Skylar! My darlings!" Pushing past the guards, she bounded into the embrace of her estranged son, taking in his scent for the first time in quite a few moons. She supposed Florian was right then; it was a bit of a family reunion, wasn't it? But...pulling away from her son for a moment, Gravel stared blankly at Fox...Vixen...whatever her name was. "Why is she here, though?"
"Heyyy," Disloyaldog said with his usual chill demeanor, lacking any heartfelt enthusiasm for his son and grandkit. But at least he didn't try and run away out of fear now that none of them were kits. And he was fortunate enough that nearly all of his kits decided to not have more kits to torment him...
"Yeah I guess you were raised in semi-normal circumstances for an Eerie, but family reunions in prison are uh... More common than you'd think. I mean Shule and i just had one a short time ago!" Glowstar pointed out, "And exactly, stealing prey without any proof is ridiculous for you to be kept in these conditions, but Shule will let you leave," She insisted, her tail moving gently over Gravel's shoulder before heading over to a good exit route with the Regime members help, but paused at Gravel's question.
Peering up she blushed, catching Vixenkismet's ivy green gaze before shyly looking back over to Gravel, "Oh uhhh," Glowstar began, her eyes avoiding every person in the prison, but in such a tight space it was easy to drink in every anxious and nervous detail about her. She never looked so thrown off, there was never a look of hesitance on her features or an anxious expression that screamed help until now. She never lost the look of pure panic, but her smile rose like wildfire before falling into a fit of uncontrollable giggles. Steadily gaining control she traced a paw along her cheek to wipe lose a stray tear from her laughter, "Okay, I can't- I can't keep it a secret anymore! I'm going to propose to Fox to marry me at sunset and then we're going to be leaders of DayClan together and live happily ever after!" Glowstar blurted out.
Her gaze relaxed like a storm had finally passed over from building up in secrecy for so long, but it didn't compare to her smile. Her smile was from a whole other universe, it had a daydreamers expression, a fondness that stared into a void, but anyone could tell she was picturing Foxbane beside her even now. That is until she caught her echo rising up from the ravine walls up to Foxbane. Her paw jolted for a moment before stopping it short of lifting up completely, as for one moment she felt the echo was tangible enough for her to grab onto it before it could reach Foxbane's ears, but now it was too late. "Oh my gosh, NOOOO. UGH! It was going to be this really cute moment and I just proposed to you IN A PRISON IN THE REGIME THAT WE BOTH HATE MOST!" Glowstar agonized, with more anxious laughter flying past her lips.

-gets down on one knee presenting the glowing fox ring- Honey Sen. Storm would you make me the happiest admin alive and be a rp leader beside me in DayClan? To cause mayhem in times of peace. To bring laughter in the form of destruction. To be my everlasting chaos in boredom or in joy.
Foxbane had been standing rather awkwardly away from the rest, probably paying just a bit too close attention to ensure that Glowstar remained safe. Even so, it was like her entire mind short circuited when the DayClan leader's voice reached her ears. She stood there, mouth utterly agape for a long moment, and then to those nearby, it was almost as if she'd disappeared into thin air. Surely, looking back on this moment, Vixenkismet would have sworn she'd gained the ability to fly for how light her paws she was, hurtling at speeds she hadn't even known she was capable of towards Green, her guard duty all but forgotten. A fox patterned blur crashed into the other feline, throwing them both into a roll, limbs everywhere until they came to rest with Foxbane pinning Glowstar to the ground.
The ex-Priestess' face was alight with a delirious sort of glee, her ivy eyes deep pools of mischief and chaos that swirled up like a storm, possessiveness written across her features as she leaned down, a smile stretching wide across her features that made even the dim light of the prison seem as though the light of the sun shone down upon the pair. "We're a love born out of chaos, control, and in defiance of all the stars and shadows that would dare to try and keep us apart." Foxbane laid a surprisingly gentle kiss upon Glowstar's nose before pulling back slightly to stare into her eyes, already lost in the moment as if they didn't have an audience. "I would do anything you asked just for the opportunity to wake up next to your each morning, and there is no stone I wouldn't overturn, building I wouldn't burn, or god I wouldn't challenge if it would bring even a simple smile to your face."
She pulled Green to her paws, and once they stood again, she held one of the leader's paws close to her chest, refusing to let go. "Of course I'll marry you, Green Eerie, Glowstar, light of my life." A purr rumbled deep in her throat as she spoke, "My life has been one adventure after another, and the future I see with you is an adventure I never want to end."
OUT OF ROLEPLAY
-happy screaming noises- You're leaving me at a loss for words, Faith, how can I even make an adequate reply? xD Of course I will! How could I ever say no, especially with an amazing ring and speech like that? <3
I.. uh... what? Gravel really wasn't sure what just happened. That...did just happen, right? Obviously Glowstar's proposal definitely happened; Gravel wasn't stupid. It was one specific part of said proposal that the tortoiseshell needed a double-take for, as she tentatively stepped out of her prison and stood next to Disloyaldog and her children, staring down at the pair of newly-engaged she-cats with a mix of confusion and concern. "I- I'm sorry, I hate to interrupt this...lovely moment..." she trailed off for a moment, gesturing at Glow and Fox with a small wave of her front paw. "But can we go back to the thing about being leaders of Dayclan together? I- I heard that correctly, right? Commander, we heard the same thing, right?" In one of the oddest mental 360's of her entire life, Gravel was now turning to Shule, her captor until literally a minute ago, for confirmation and help.
"OMG! Congratulations, I'm so happy for you two!" Yuccablossom purred, jamming her head underneath Gravel's jaw in very obvious way to quiet her down. She loved her mother very much but she didn't want to let her ruin Glowstar and Foxstar's special moment by talking about the elephant in the room, "I'll help you plan the wedding and everything, I'll even cook some of my very special recipes, oh actually no I'll put my life on the line to get the very best twoleg delicacy that a forest cat can hope to find, trust me! This is gonna be the biggest event of the year and all to celebrate two amazing she-cats that I'm lucky to call my grandmothers! Now... let's get out of these tunnels and go do the feline equivalent of bar-hopping to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Shule blinked slowly, surprised by Gravelshell's voice directed at her, and she glanced around his strange gathering, as if waiting for someone to come tell her it was a joke. Apparently not. "Unless we're both delusional, it seems we did hear correctly." Needless to say, the Commander didn't look, nor sound, pleased. She could pass off Fox and Glow marrying... but Foxbane leading DayClan, that was concerning, to put it extremely lightly.
(GidgetGal Your move, sorry I was slow to respond!)
"Well Foxbane was almost leader of DayClan that one time, just lost to Goldenphantom and I," Lucistic reasoned. Watching Yuccablossom rush over to Foxbane and Glowstar he couldn't help, but crack a smile, "Man, we really are a freakshow family, the anarchist and control freak together and somehow leading a clan in unison. Somehow fits in with the cold militant queen and charismatic party king couple over there," He gestured to Commander Shule, "And then the abusive wife and masochist couple we," He teased Gravel with a wry grin.
He nudged at Gravel's shoulder, "Let's get out of here and go get some food at the black market, I think we could both use a little change of pace after this announcement."
Glowstar's heart melted staring up at Foxbane with a lovesick, yet stubbornly challenging grin wrung around the corners of her lips as the ex priestess spoke. Her heartbeat in the same quick pace as the many other times Foxbane had pinned her down. For violence or love, both were an adventure. No matter the thrill of the kill or kiss she wanted it to be Foxbane holding her tight, feel her strength wrapped around her. Foxbane was the only cat that she wanted to control her, the weakness she felt around her was addictive. "Our love will be immortal," Glowstar promised her, her head leaning to Foxbane's.
