Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
You’re welcome to reply or not. Thai is a general thread for the guards on duty this month. We can even rotate who’s replying in the thread kind of like actual guard duty. Role play out the shift changes by tagging two new people on the list of guards for this month, and doing some interactions with prisoners. How ever you guys want to do it.
On guard duty this month: Cloudweaver (biyuu ☆彡), Brindlemist (Jadie), Rowanstrike (pao), Corpseflower (pao), Dealfinder (Honeystorm), Furorstorm (Nova), Crimsonrose (Jetclaw), Phantompaw (racer), Gardeniapaw (Faith), and Dreampaw (Flurryofstars)
Current Prisoners: Amberbird imprisoned via kidnapping to teach Roseshade/sometimes not in prison den due to teaching roseshade (pao), Frigidpaw has bipolar disorder and not currently being treated and his crim is killing a fellow student in a manic moment (pao), Bloodyhearts his crim is trespassing and being a sun clan leader (jadie), Rodent he is Wolftundra’ sort so also not always in prison and his crim is attempted kidnapping of wic kits (faith),

Dreampaw started his shift with an extended yawn despite the sun's position high in the sky. This was his first time on guard duty and he missed most of the instructions, so for him, the job entailed just being present with whoever the other guard would be. Except, he was the only one around for the time being. Who's supposed to be here anyway? He couldn't remember. Was he even told? Groaning, he flopped onto his side in front of the tunnel, hoping that it would be an easy shift or that he'd get help soon. He'd rather be anywhere else...
Frigidpaw was edged near the cage, anxious to even do that. The cage was mere thistle and thorns woven carefully to discourage approach to the entrance of the den, but Frigidpaw had a question. One that he desperately wanted the answer too. “Ha….have you seen…my-my sister?” He stepped back, expected a thump on the head for speaking out. The guards didn’t normally like talking with the prisoners, and Frigidpaw had learned that well over the moons. Some just ignored him, others smacked him, but they never treated him too badly for they all seemed to admire his sister too much to be in her bad side.

Dreampaw looked lazily over his shoulder at the tom. He didn't think any of the prisoners would talk to him, but he wasn't exactly shocked. He was taken aback by the tom's wariness of him though. It wasn't like he was Wintrystar or anything. Dreampaw had never gone out of his way to hurt another cat or bring them down before, so why would he now? Not that Frigidpaw would know any of that. "Sorry, who? I'm no good at keeping up with who's related to who, so you'll have to be more specific," he drawled.
"Don't bother talking to him Dreampaw, he's kind of a nut case," Gardeniapaw warned, "And I don't want you to catch his crazy."
Gardeniapaw was Wintrystar and Howlingnight's daughter, the princess of the clan, but she didn't exactly throw that around as much as the rest of siblings had been known to do. Instead she kept to herself with an ice queen vibe, but almost an innocent one. Like a kid who was never informed that manners were a thing that existed. "If Frigidpaw wants to keep running his mouth we can just muzzle him like the other guards did before, he always talks too much."

His ears flicked in her direction a moment before his eyes followed suit. He knew who Gardeniapaw was just as well as he knew she’d been gone for a while outside of WinterClan. Now, he wished she’d stayed that way as it appeared she was just another mean-spirited “pureblood”. How typical. “Doesn’t seem all that crazy to ask about his sister. Muzzling him though... that’s a little nutty, don’t you think?” Dreampaw said, sounding bored but with sharp eyes that betrayed his facade. “How about we humor him a bit? He looks harmless.” Her being Wintrystar’s daughter unsettled him, but hopefully she wasn’t as aggressive as her mother.
Looked harmless was the key. Most days he was, but as he’d proven on one fateful day, Frigidpaw was capable of murder. His mood could change easily, from manic to depressive, sometimes snapping back and forth so quickly it was hard to keep up. It was during a manic day, one where he was hyped up and too keyed to pay attention that it happened. Espressopaw had just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Out with a patrol, Frigidpaw had been jumpy, swatting even at a bush swaying in the breeze, so in truth it shouldn’t have been a surprise that he’d jump to attack the first scent that caught his nose. Unlucky, that scent happened to be Espressopaw, who’d been hunting near the border. The same border that the patrol was going to check. Frigidpaw attacked first and then realized his mistake. Poor Espressopw had just suffered an unnecessary, fatal blow to the throat. He died there in front of the patrol and Frigidpaw was caste into prison.
It was an honest mistake, but not many saw it that way as everyone else in the patrol had picked up Espressopaw’s scent as he approached. Frigidpaw had failed to notice and attacked in his manic state. Since then, his only visitor has been his littermate and older sister Frevidsummer. “Frevidsummer!” He practically yelled out his sister’s name the moment eyes turned back on him. He was twitching, a little anxious, and a lot keyed up. A manic day once more. The orange and white tom was practically buzzing as he blurted out again, “Frevidsummer! She’s my sister!”
"I don't run into her enough to know," Gardeniapaw said shortly before staring down Dreampaw with annoyance, "Fine, go waste your time with him, but if he acts out of line I'm going to correct him by splashing some snow in his face," She said matter of factly before toughening her gaze onto him, which wasn't too effective. She wasn't just beautiful, she was cute and probably a little too cute to the point that she looked like a kittypet for her soft long fur and well fed belly, "And maybe I'll throw snow at you too if you don't stop talking to him. Like I said, weirdos like him spread their weirdness onto others. I don't want to catch his because you decided to interact with a prisoner."

Dreampaw snorted at her threat. "Fair enough then. I think I can handle some snow anyhow." He doubted she could throw enough in one go to be a nuisance anyway. Those dainty paws of hers looked better fit for grooming and nothing else. "Frevidsummer, huh?" he said as he turned back to the prisoner. "I don't know her well either, but I can try to talk to her if you want? Or if there's some kind of message you want delivered to her, I don't mind helping out or whatever." The offer felt too lenient even to him, but if it would stop Frigidpaw from whining his ear off then he'd try his best to follow through. Well, so long as Gardeniapaw didn't get in the way.
