Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Alright so this is a training thread but it’s also going to involve Faith since Wolftundra has a pet named Rodent. So anything in particular you want to do or develop in Blackpaw? Flurryofstars
Wolftundra was pleased to be given another apprentice so soon, even more so with the ideas he had in mind with using Rodent for practices. Training would definitely be more interesting this time around. Maybe they would be assigned to prison detail soon as well and then could really toughen up some of the prisoners. Especially the ones recently captured form the battle against DayClan and the Regime. The tom wired for his student at the clearing in camp, they’d discuss things first and then see from there.

(I don’t have anything really, but depending on what you have in mind for this Blackpaw’s not going to want to participate. So maybe he’s forced to or he has to pretend to be on board. Idk)
Wolftundra didn’t need to wait very long before Blackpaw’s fluffy midnight pelt appeared at the edge of the clearing, his golden eyes dull with a lack of enthusiasm. He padded carefully up to his mentor and grunted a greeting, not feeling a need for anything more vocal at the moment. Training was an exciting concept in itself, but his mind wasn’t really in it today. Lately, he’d been a little off from having to deal with his mom. Maybe this could distract him from all of that for a while though.
(Ohh wolftundra will hate that. He hates laziness.) Flurryofstars
Wolftundra wasn’t impressed at first knowing who he’d get, especially since it was a student form the seraph caste, but he’d still do what he can to make this cat into the prime warrior like himself. A frown appeared on his face at the disrespectful greeting he was given, even more so when he took in the eyes of the student before him. Wolftundra wasn’t one for slacking off or weakness, he didn’t accept it from Rodent and he would t accept it form his student. “Is that all you have to say? Honestly kits these days aren’t being taught the proper manners anymore. I suppose we’ll need to start there.” His words were nearly a hiss, so displeased by the acts of his student. He’d fix that, he’d train it out of Blackpaw.
Rodent looked out of place beside Wolftundra, he was a pretty battered face, with the posture of a subservient dog seated beside its master. Alert, but not over confident and certainly keep his head down in order to not appear challenging. Rodent's fur was a toasted golden tint with bengal patterns running down his pelt like drizzled melted chocolate. His clear sky blue eyes were kitten wide, sparkly even, the kind that was hard not to say aww at. However that's where the adorable part of him stops, as littered across his body were little lessons in the form of scars that Wolftundra had taught him. All in order to mold him into the perfect pet that he now stood before Blackpaw as. Rodent was as domesticated as a prisoner came, he was calm, loyally by his masters side, but also held no attitude in his eyes. There was no resentment or coldness, if anything he had a friendly presence about him.
Rodent peered up at Wolftundra silently wondering if he had permission to speak. After all, pets didn't speak unless they were told to, but normally when it was just the two of them Wolftundra let him talk as much as he wanted to.

Wolftundra’s hissing didn’t have the desired affect of intimidating him. Instead, all it did was annoy the apprentice. It felt like he was dealing with his mom all over again. Always “lack of respect” this and “lack of respect” that from cats who’d done nothing to earn it from him. “What more is there to say?” Blackpaw asked flatly. He couldn’t think of anything else besides a sign of acknowledgement, which he gave, and small talk wasn’t worth his time. When he didn’t receive an answer immediately, he turned his nose away from the warrior. “I won’t waste my breath.” Then, he allowed his eyes to travel across Rodent’s scarred pelt. He banished any concern he may have had for being rude when he took in the disgusting reminder of WinterClan’s cruelty. If Wolftundra had anything to do with it, then he was treating the warrior exactly how he deserved.
“Good Morning for starters. Or maybe even hello? Clearly, I should had a talk with your parents.” He knew Nightfreeze, even respected her to the extend of her being a strong warrior, and same for Snowflurry, so he honestly couldn’t see this kit before him as their child. “I suppose we best get started then. We can work on your manners while practicing. I won’t spare anymore time for it then necessary and you’ll have to multitask at that. Now you may address me as Sir or by name, I won’t accept anything less. Take a hunting form. We’ll knock some basic battle forms into you before heading out to try your paws’ at hunting.” Best to be able to defend himself should they run into anything while out on the mountain. No telling what they’d face. Wolftundra stepped back, a frown now permanently on his muzzle, nodded to Rodent to take his form, and waited. For the time being he wouldn’t have his pet speak, but that never lasted long. He’d teach this cat respect. Not the same way he had to Rodent, but long, grueling training session would work. And if that didn’t, then Blackpw would be facing Wolftundra at about 75% for training instead of the weaker Rodeng, who would more than likely go easy on the kit to start with.
Rodent could still feel slight humiliation twist in his heart as he stepped past Wolftundra's apprentice and further down before lying low at a prey creatures level with his back turned. Plus it wasn't like he ever wanted to complain, Wolftundra let him out for walks, he gave him purpose. He never kept him locked up tight like all the other prisoners because he was his pet, well looked after. At least it wasn't battle training, there was nothing worse than being a living dummy, standing still to be beaten down by apprentices.

Blackpaw's ear twitched in annoyance, but he kept his mouth shut. He could already tell he and his mentor weren't going to get along well at all, but he could try to pick his battles from here on out. Slowly, he lowered himself to a crouch with his paws tucked underneath him; the muscles in his legs flexed and ready to pounce at any moment. He hoped his form was good, just so Wolftundra would get off his back, but he was still feeling low on the motivation to try. Maybe it was because of Rodent. The prisoner--and Wolftundra's pet--looked positively pitiful the way he was now. Was he supposed to battle him or hunt him like prey? Whatever it was, Blackpaw didn't like it. And he'd wait for a more direct order before deciding on anything past this stance.
