Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
[This kit's an elemental, so feel free to have your character be a little rough with her.]
The tortoiseshell kitten stumbled around in the twilight hours in the city. A bitter taste still hung in her mouth as she thought about her rude awakening that morning. Apparently her parents expected her to be gone by the time she was five, six moons old. Sure, she had done some training with them here and there, but she doubted it would be enough to make sure she survived. But where would she go? She closed her eyes and thought of a place her parents took her through when she was around a moon old. It was a large, expansive forest with a waterfall in the center. Yeah... that waterfall. It was peaceful there, at least in her memory. It was a brief moment in their travels, but it was cool. Really cool. She sighed and took another step, and this time her paw sunk through the shadows in front of her. With a shriek Azala fell into the shadow, and for a brief moment it completely engulfed her. She could feel the cold seeping into her bones as if it were the dead of winter.
She came tumbling out of the shadow of a tree moments later, right to the paws of a very surprised MoonClan cat. "Uhh... hi?"
Boysenberrypaw nearly jumped out of his own skin when the kitten stumbled into his paws. Without even thinking he reached out a paw to poke it, just to make sure it was a real cat. Apparently once you nearly died in MoonClan territory you got to see ghosts, which had been a fun discovery for him. So was the fact that he was now an elemental or downworlders, as MoonClan called them. Selene had saved his life and granted him abilities at the same time. All of which was way he still remained in MoonClan despite having been born in SunClan. “You’re real right?” The lilac tom asked, just wanting to make sure this little kitten was the real thing.
She rolled her eyes, and then they widened. How could she be sure? The cold she felt could certainly have been death... she had to check the tom here too. She lightly kicked the tom with her hind leg, and there sure was contact. Weird. "I think so? Like I..." Her eyes widened when lifted her head to look around. The waterfall, the dark, dense forest... it was the place she was imagining. How in the world did that work? "Am I dreaming?" She tried to push herself to her paws, but her muscles just seized up and she fell back over. It felt like she had been running for such a long time, but the moon was in the same spot in the sky as it was in the city.
So this little kitten was real, that was good. “I suppose you’re not fro around here then?” He asked, eyes scanning the kitten. She had appeared out of no where which clearly meant she wasn’t exactly normal. But then again he had his own element so he was not exactly one to judge others. “Where did you come from though?”
