Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Fiiinally," She purred as if he were such a handful, but when she looked away she found herself blushing.
She skipped along the path back to the league, not that it was much of a path, but consider how small she was tall grass came off as a jungle. She was nearing about the border when her head turned, "Hey, wait. Did you hear something earlier too?"
Innocentia was tackled to the ground followed by a feral hiss. A black she-cat heavily scarred was on top of Innocentia already tearing into her chest with her teeth.
Innocentia let out a cry of surprise and hissed feeling the other she-cats teeth rip into her body. The other she-cat either didn't notice Driscal or didn't care as she considered tearing into the hunter.
Without hesitating, Driscal launched at the feral, snarling. He barreled into the she-cat with a surprising amount of force. He stood upon the attacker, holding a massive paw on her throat, just giving her enough to breathe. However, he could easily crush her trachea with one swift movement. "If you move, I will kill you! Why the hell did you attack!? What is your problem!?" he demanded a response, showing sharp teeth and glaring with glowing fireball eyes.
Looking at the stranger more closely her entire body was mangled, she was missing an ear, there was no white to her eyes, it was pink and blue, but the colors seemed to melt together. A long claw mark started from her cheek all the way to her torso. Her entire body was scattered with scars where her black fur never grew back.
"I was just a cadet and she used me as some sick torment lesson! Maybe I would have gotten over it if I hadn't learned I wasn't her only victim," She hissed.
Innocentia rolled over pushing herself up before rubbing her paw casually against her chest, "Owie! All this because I maimed you when you were just a wittle thing," She mocked, "How pathetic," She giggled.
Her yellow gaze flickered like fire before latching onto Driscal, "She deserved it, Xuxa was spying on league territory, a little spy in training. I was hoping to deter her, but she still became a spy anyways," She shrugged with a What-Can-You-Do kind of a look.
Xuxa hissed, her entire body almost lifting Driscal's as she attempted to free herself from underneath him.
"Who was I-" Xuxa hissed, "My own satisfaction of killing Innocentia. She's ruined my life and many others. She picks on apprentices and destroys them!"
Innocentia giggled, "So cute to know kids these days have such big wide eyed goals."
"Laugh, but my wide eyed goal to is to ensure no one else suffers, seems such a thing can only happen if you're out of the picture," Xuxa ventured darkly.
"Innocentia is off limits" he growled in Xuxa's ear, digging his claws deeper into her shoulders for a moment longer to get his point across before releasing and backing off to stand protectively in front of the white she-cat. He knew she could stand her own. Hell, she could take him down herself if she wanted to. However, he felt it was the right thing to do.
Xuxa’s blue gaze tore into Driscal, sharp enough of a gaze to make a cat bleed internally. There was just something so incredibly unsettling about her eyes. They were pink instead of white, typically only seen from cats with allergies, but there was pinkish skin rimming around her eyes instead of fur from hours of rubbing her eyes each day. Innocentia maybe a bit off given her feeding habits, but this cat Xuxa looked deranged, a different kind of dangerous.
Innocentia peaked out from behind Driscal and stuck her tongue out at Xuxa.
”Just wait and see what’ll happen when he’s not around. I know about Flutterpaw,” Xuxa hissed.
"Im giving you a chance to leave. I suggest you take it!" he snarled, flicking his tail. Xuxa's eyes bore into his skin and felt rather unsettling, though he chose not to show that it bothered him. Driscal had his own pair of interesting eyes. They werent nearly as odd looking but they had their own dangerous venom.
Xuxa looked between Driscal and Innocentia one last time before ducking off and running. She had thought she'd have time to assassinate Innocentia whether she lost or won, but she didn't expect to go back home a failure.
Driscal immediately felt Innocentia leaning into him, "Thank-you, it's so nice to not have to lift a paw for everyone, but even nicer when someone helps when they don't have to."
Her yellow eyes seemed lost, distant. They stared deeply into the woods as though she were seeing something not there before brightening up and looking up at Driscal once more with a big toothy smile, "I might even owe you one."
He wasnt sure how to react when she leaned on him but he decided not to move. "Uh, yeah. Its no problem. I wasn't just going to stand there and watch my league-mate get ripped a part. Though, Im pretty sure you could handle your own."
"Sometimes. If I was average size I could, but if there's someone who's super heavy they could hold me down and there wouldn't be anything I could do about it. Or carry me away. However in this case, yeah I probably could have, she just wanted to fight. But it's VERY annoying in battle when someone just squishes me with their paw the whole time," Innocentia pouted, "Although I will say lately people have been getting mad at me lately. I kill cats so often to eat that I just naturally make more enemies than a typical league cat. Although some members are nice and will tell me where a bodies at and I'll go pick clean the evidence for them," She purred.
Realizing she'd been talking about she cleared her throat, "Soooo what makes you stay in the league? It's not an easy place to love."
Driscal frowned. Did she plan on eating hiim? He gulped nervously. Although he could easily take her, he was much larger than her by a lot but she could have an ambush hidden somewhere. He pushed the thought away when she asked him a question. "Well...I don't know. I always enjoyed the feeling of blood in my claws and the joy I feel after winning a fight. I felt Primal Instinct was more my life style" he responded. "Though now with the new nemesis, everything is changing. I'm not sure how I feel about it."
"I ran away and became a kittypet for years after getting fed up with the league. It was great eating. Except-Well. Not the kittypet food," She purred, "It's how I got this bow and it's why I don't get sick anymore, they gave me these needles that made me stronger to sickness. It's my new super power," She said playfully.
She looked him up and down, "I don't know if you'd make a good kittypet, but! I do know a cat here who used to be a proxy and is living as a rogue. I hear him and his boyfriend are trying to make a rogue gang so if you ever do leave I'm sure you'd be welcomed there. However it might be nice, I really want to join the outside affairs where hunters spy on and gain intelligence from clans. I'm actually... Don't tell anyone! A little scared to join it though. Which district do you want to be apart of?"
"I guess you got some options. You either spy on the league itself, other clans, loner and rogues, or torture the prisoners when we have them. I'm a little hesitant too though. About spying on clans because if I do I'll be expected to not just have a mate in another clan, but have kits with them. It sounds degrading especially because I actually have a crush in the league and she doesn't know it, but someday she's going to be my mate. I guess I don't mind being dishonest, but I do mind being dishonest with who I am. I can't imagine someone in the league who has a mate already flirting with other cats and having kits with them and still having a sane relationship back home. That's a lot to ask out of a cat."
He perked his ears in interest, "You have a crush? Do you mind if I ask who it is?" He had no clue who she liked. He really didn't spend much time with her other than today. He also felt kind of bad for her. How she would have to flirt and mate with other cats when her heart belonged to someone else. That must be hard. He never told Innocentia about the fling he had with Corvus. They agreed to keep it a secret. He didn't want anyone to know that the kits she had a few moons ago were actually his. He had seen Innocentia training one of them too. He guessed they all had secrets of their own.
"Okay, but if you tell I'll have to kill you before you even utter a word out because! Because I really liked Senescence. She's so strong and she's not even brave, she's just fearless. I love her eyes, the way they stare at others cold forbidding, but then she looks at me and I see a spark in her gaze and I realize her eyes aren't made of ice, but a fire waiting to bloom. I always felt broken, but she makes broken look so beautiful. I met a lot of fake people in my life, but I never realized how much I want someone real until I met her. She wears her scars with her head high, she follows through on her threats, she doesn't call herself chaos or death because she doesn't need to spell it out. I crave the moments I share and I hide my heart deep inside because I just can't risk her rejecting me and then my friendship. So that's why you can't tell because if she knew I could lose her forever... I hope someday she wakes up and see's me in the way I see her."
Driscal could almost feel his heart break. He liked Innocentia...a lot. But her heart was with someone else and he had no right to take that from the two she-cats. "Well..." he wasn't sure what to actually say. He couldn't tell her the feelings he felt for her. Not when she had her own feelings for someone else. But he had to say something. He looked down at his paws. "H-how do you know she doesn't feel the same if you don't tell her?" he asked, lifting his head to look at her again, his fireball eyes actually holding emotion but in a way no one could pinpoint which emotion he was feeling.
