Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The veil between the living and non-living in NightCLan was getting thinner. This was not surprising; death seemed to hang over the group in a deep, perturbing ways. Maybe it was for that reason that she wasn't necessarily surprised that she saw a cat that... was clearly not living. After all, she was a leader, which meant her connection to StarClan was stronger, she was in the Enchanted Forest, where the borders between life and death were blurred, and the current curse.
"Who are you?" she asked the phantom in front of her, her head tilted to the side slightly. "I haven't seen you before." Was Willowstep going to be surprised at being spoken to directly? Probably, but Aspenstar felt like it wasn't worth the time to pretend she didn't see the ghost.
Willowstep heard a voice behind her. "who are you" she turned around a little surprised at the sudden voice. she hasn't talked to anybody in a while. she turned around and saw another cat staring right at her. " you can see me?" she questioned
Aspenstar's mismatched gaze focused more clearly on the other. "Yes," she meowed with a flick of her tail. "I assume that you're real and not a figment of my imagination," she continued. "You have no discernable scent, so I'm assuming you're part of StarClan, come to give me some grand advice on how to deal with it all?" Her lips twithced into a half-smile, unsure if she meant her words as a joke or as a quiet plea for help. "Either way, the question still stands: who are you?" Perhaps she could have asked it better if she said what is your name, but Aspen was good at making things more complicated than necessary.
NOPE! im totally real, my name is willowstep and im not exactly sent down from starclan..i mean yes i live in starclan but im not one to give others rhymes or mystery to solve. im simply here. i can go where ever i want including the dark forest. sometimes i help keeping kits happy or help on any quest 's cats go on. she jumped down from the branch she was sitting on her golden fur glowing brown in the early morning sun rise. it has been a while since i have talked to anybody. What are you doing out here in the enchanted forest anyway?
Aspenstar raised an eyebrow as she spoke, her head tipping to the side slightly as she considered her words. When the cat finished, she laughed slightly. "I suppose I could be asking you the same thing," she meowed with a half-smile. "Personally, this is my home." Although it had not always been the Enchanted Forest, once the ForestClans were just that, the ForestClans, completely devoid of whatever bizzare happenings the Enchanted Mist caused, she'd grown up here, made a life here.
ah I get it. i remember the forest clans that use to be here I didnt know why they left tho,but i understand why they did things can be strange in the enchanted forest. alot of ghosts stay here. as for me I was just kind of wandering around but then i hurt my back leg. she lifted up her back leg to show a gash on the side of her leg.
The she-cat tipped her head further; it wasn't often that a dead cat got injured. "Can I help? Cana has tught me a few of the basics in case I found trouble when going to the other clans. I'm no medicine cat, but I might be able to do something." She got a little closer to the other, looking at her leg. "It looks painful. How did you do it?"
she got a little nervous and backed up a little but trusted the other she cat. "i was jumping from tree branches when one of them broke and i fell. usually dead cats dont get hurt like this because we are ghosts but this is the enchanted forest and everything is strange. i would love it if you could heal me or at least give me something to make it stop hurting. But we should probably get out of the forest first.
Aspenstar nodded, offering her shoulder to the spirit. "If we go towards the waterfalls, we'll be away from it a bit," she meowed. It wasn't going to be a long trip, but it was going to take some energy. "If you think we should stop to dress it before we get out of here, we can," she then offered.
