and I also have a concept™ that I started last time before I dropped off the face of the earth but anyway
For just normal things:
Hywel – my good lad, single boi who really doesn't give a dang about anything, v flirty and carefree on the outside, pretty morally ambiguous and willing to murder on the inside. He's in PI rn and could use some friends or past flings or future flings or just anything that will piss his sister off because he lives for that uwu. He's gay af. Friends, lovers, enemies, anything's good. If you want to have some snarky bants we can make a thread and just keep roasting each other like I do with everyone in my life ♥
Rhiannon – anyone want to get murdered? jk she's beyond that
for now. She's pretty asexual (or well, aromantic mostly) because the only thing she wants is power and to live forever, so like, any intellectual friendships or even cats who want their heart broken because she can't love™, pls volunteer as tribute. Or she could use some rivals. Enemies. Anything actually.
Silverspectre – a mute tom in FallClan! He's selectively mute actually but basically, he spends most of the time alone or daydreaming but he's really lonely on the inside so a cute lil love story might be fun for him ♥
Moonkit - Nightclan! (god finally I'm branching out) but he's a smoll bean who's new and he got abandoned by his dad (yeah daddy issues is a theme I get it) but he's figuring things out and eventually might want to look for his family uwu so if you happen to want to help that journey (even if you're in another clan) or just need pals that happen to be kits.....he's your little fluffy man.
Sunkit – I added them to SummerClan! She needs friends and pals and everything!!! ♥ ♥ uwu
Bermondsey – His whole arch is this concept of a family curse. He's the adopted father of Sun/Moonkit and dropped them off to places that can take care of them, but a fun thing could be that 1) he still cares about them despite his whole 'I have no empathy for anyone' attitude, so blackmail might be fun. Another possibility is that, since his bloodline has been cursed for the last
? generations (since Alistair so like, 3 generations? 4?) he really doesn't want kits. Ever. He's very dramatic about it (THE BLOODLINE ENDS WITH ME!!!!!) but it'd be actually hilarious if he accidentally gets a cat pregnant and he's like DANG IT NOT AGAIN!!!!
THE CULT™
The idea is that Hywel and Rhiannon came from a loch up north of the clans where superstition and magic and all that is about, and they believe in the green man. So like.....midsommar? that kind of stuff. It's an idea from their homeland that if one is killed in a ceremony, their lives can be transferred to others, and the symbol of that is finding leaves in a dead cat's mouth (there are three versions of it, search up the green man!!) and it's a sign from the gods and all. So there's a bunch of cats all over the forest that might be from the cult or are descended from those northerners who were maybe sacrificial lambs who escaped, or cats who were banished, etc. and they're all living happily and peacefully until a cat is found with a symbolic death tied to it, and the rest of the cats who are from there are like oh?
and YAY murder mystery
Also all the characters are tied to tarot cards because why not. Currently we have:

open to adoption! DEVIL – a chaos bringer, chaotic and just generally likes to go against authority and do crazy things!! He doesn't have a name so you get to decide!! Big part of the plot since everyone will suspect you're the murderer
DEATH – the murderer. not necessarily evil, just the element of change, so you can make him as evil and dark as you want, but you can also do a whole 'believes it's his duty and responsibility and thinks he's doing the right thing' kind of thang
TAKEN BY SHADOW
JUDGEMENT – similar to Justice, and that's why they get along so well, but their own judgement doesn't focus on a set of rules, but rather their own intuition. They prefer looking at the bigger picture and are a logician. They often look at things in a factual manner, weighing options objectively, which puts them to a disadvantage when it comes to internal reflection. They can often be seen as heartless due to their way of seeing the world.
JUSTICE – the one who holds them all accountable. Having left the cult–though not to necessarily escape–justice is the link that ties them back to their origins. They know the law, that those who do not keep the cult's secrets are sentenced to death, and find themselves torn between their duty and their own senses. They see 'justice' differently than a set of morals, rather they see themselves as the enactor of judgement. They don't do second chances. They don't doubt their decisions. Their single-mindedness will lead them to power or to ruin.
WORLD – seeks purpose, goal oriented, there is a lifelong goal they wish to achieve, and they will do anything to achieve it, even if it hurts others. They see things in completed circles, and have plenty of steps to make sure they can achieve what they want.

there's a couple of ways I thought of this going cos I'm not 100000% set on the details yet
but I know this all starts off with one or two of the characters finding dead bodies of cats with like, plants growing out of their ears and mouth and just, really gruesome images of that, and like
that's super unusual and you'd rarely see this unless it was placed there specifically as a symbol, which is what the group would recognize
