Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
When Ray's recently became a thing in SunClan, permitting SunClan cats to join other clans DayClan had been the first to deny Ray's entry to joining DayClan. Their code clearly stated that loyalty to DayClan must come first, but it was more just it just being in their code, it was put their from their history with SunClan. Anyone who worshiped Sun God only brought trouble to their clan. Even if the SunClan cats were nice about it, the idea of a cult possibly influencing DayClan members to go to SunClan to get initiated and possibly die felt terrifying. If there was one thing SunClan proved it was being good at manipulating, even if a cat knew the consequences of failing it was entirely possible SunClan had brainwashed them to not be in the right state of mind.
For that reason Glowstar didn't even expect Brave to enter through the tall stalks of wheat and into the wisteria throne. Lifting her head up her aquamarine gaze met his, "Well this is a welcomed surprise, come to relax in our little paradise?"

Damek shifted his paws anxiously, then rubbed the back of his head, a telltale sign of his own uncertainty. "Not exactly...." He started, leaning side to side as he spoke and tried to think of what to say. "You banned Rays?" He sounded a bit confused, and perhaps a bit hurt about it too, a deeper sort of hurt that seemed to echo his past life in the present. After all, the previous Sun God had adored Glowstar.
"Indefinitely," Glowstar added. Her aquamarine gaze looked Damek up and down, observing him briefly before deciding to speak again, "SunClan requires loyalty from all their followers, even Rays who leave home. Seems to me that SunClan was a bit presumptuous assuming that other clans wouldn't want the same, don't you think?"

Her reply didn't seem to bring Bravewolf any comfort, as he continued to fidget in silence for a bit. "But you and Foxbane are Rays, essentially?" He answered. "And that's not considered a problem." It was a pretty weak counter, of course. But he wasn't wrong. Both were SunClan members, and DayClan members, and even if their loyalty was to DayClan first, there didn't seem to be a problem there. Of course, Damek wasn't exactly sure he could do anything as far as forcing them out. Littlestar would turn him to ash again if he got Foxbane kicked out he suspected.
"Do I strike you as loyal, Bravewolf?" Glowstar asked.
Her aquamarine eyes were as shadowy as the dark forest, boring into him with an uninterested expression. It was like a dark cloud had passed over her usual sunny disposition, blocking her bright and lively energy. She relinquished some of it though as some of the light returned to her eyes, "I've been burned too many times from SunClan. Foxstar had many chances to change. Littlestar had many chances to grow up. And Bloodystar's leadership felt sabotaged from the moment he set paw in that clan. In truth, and I mean this in the nicest way, your leaders are pathetic." It felt like there was someone different in front of him, an old soul of her assassin self. Her smile was just as genuine and summery as ever, but her words felt scolding and icy all at once.
However all at once she seemed to resume back to her normal self as she continued, "Now do I love them as people? Of course, I love my mate and my step daughter and Bloody may as well be my actual son. But their leaderships have all been catastrophic disasters. For me to allow rays who are still loyal to SunClan, well... To me it seems like an excuse for Littlestar to let her most difficult warriors who don't like SunClan's culture venture to other lands and be happy while not losing control. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't seem much different then when Bloody was in charge. Everyone ran off because he created an undesirable place to live in, but he made no effort to change things. Now everyone still finds SunClan undesirable, but instead of Littlestar setting her priorities for them to want to stay she chose to let them leave, while keeping them on leashes. And now I'm supposed to take in strays again? I was perfectly alright with it the first time, but I'm not going to follow SunClan's new organized system of taking in their displeased clan members and not even getting enough respect for them to be loyal to this clan first for taking them in."
Glowstar seemed firm in her decision, as she lied back down, but stared up at him from her throne, "Unless... Well regardless of my loyalty, I am a member of SunClan so technically you're still my god. I suppose if you were commanding me I'd have to obey despite my own beliefs. So are you asking me or commanding me?"
