"Anyone Around?"

"Did you hear that Locketwhisper?" Asked Intrepidsoul looking around trying to find the source of the plea for help. The dark brown tom gave a nod, "Yes but I don't see-" there was a pause as he looked up. "Yup I see it now. Looks like one of the apprentices went for a climb..." Both scouts gave a sigh. The grey and silver tom quickly ran over to the ferris wheel and shouted from down below. "Yes we hear you! How did you get up there?" Locketwhisper added on to what Intrepidsoul said, "And I'm guessing you can't get down can you?" Well this was a fine mess to be in. Both Intrepidsoul and Locketwhisper thought on how to get this little adventurer down without getting hurt or falling to her death.

Locketwhisper decided to stay down to the ground keeping an eye out on the pair of cats. Intrepidsoul meanwhile looked at the situation in front of him before taking action. Although the scout had climbed up the ferris wheel before he always made sure to not go too high or else he would get stuck. Cautiously the silver grey tom crept up the cabins one at a time, almost slipping at one point before going on.

The other scout on the floor watched in worry and anxiety as his friend went higher and higher up. Locketwhisper would have gone up to help but as it so happens had a particular fear of hieghts...like in this case. Plus if some predator or intruder came walking by he would need to help keep the two safe as they tried to get Fawnpaw out of her predicament.

Finally with one last push the tom made it to the cabin right underneath Fawnpaw's. "Can you open the cabin door where you are at? Or balance yourself on the side of the railing? I can catch you while you try to leap down here where I am at. I'll catch you and help you back down." The cabins lightly swung as a small breeze drifted by.

"I know it looks frightening from up there but I will do my best to not drop you or let you fall. Trust me on this." The silver grey warrior didn't mention how nervous he was about this. The scout was mostly confident he wouldn't let her fall to the ground but there was that small inkling of doubt. A small chance he would fail. He wouldn't let that doubt consume him and risk the young apprentice's life in the process. Intrepdisoul was here for Fawnpaw and would take the fall if it was needed. The tom crouched into a position best to catch a cat falling from the sky.

From down below Locketwhisper held his breath watching at the apprentice jumped suddenly. Please catch her! The tom screamed within his own mind unable to do anything else from where he stood.

Intrepidsoul leaped out just enough to try to catch Fawnpaw. Truth be told he almost missed her but by some luck he managed to grab ahold of her by the skin of his teeth. They wobbled dangerously as the scout slowly back into safety. Adrenaline rushed through his blood as he carefully managed to keep things still. Without saying it outloud he thought he was going to lose his balance but managed to beat the odds. With Fawnpaw in his mouth being held by the scruff he asked, "Armff yuree awkey?"
