"Glowstar" same a muffled voice from the entrance to her den, before the sweet scent of milk made it's way inside. Fallingleaves appeared a moment later carrying a little ball of fluff between her jaws, it's pale fur swaying back and forth as she walked. Tiny squeaks filled the den, as she sat it at her paws, looking up to the DayClan leader with a little smile. She had recently had her first litter of kits, so it wasn't really all that much of a surprise that she was carrying a kit around. Only, it wasn't exactly a normal kit
"Do you remember back when I was apprentice? You said that you would raise a ferret to help you overcome your fear?" she paused gently pushing the little creature forward "Well...umm...." she looked a little nervous "I hate to even ask, but Sprout brought this back to my den. I guess she thought that just because I have kits of my own that I should take a ferret kit to. I already have my paws full with my little ones, and.... Well it needs a mother, and I was hoping that you might take it?" she paused trying to take in her expression, before deciding that this whole thing was just a crazy idea "No, no, never mind... I shouldn't have asked you, I'll just try to find some where else for it to go" Faith
"If I say no will it make whatever reality this is revert back to one where this isn't happening?" Glowstar asked sheepishly with a kind expression, but quickly gushed at Fallingleaves flustered movements as she made her way back out from the way she came.
Fallingleaves had more depth than the typical adopted kit grown up in DayClan. She had anger, a fierce pent up bite in both word and mouth. A granddaughter that despite no blood relation she adored. She had always stayed out of that matter without any guilt. After all it was unfortunately not uncommon for DayClan cats to raise stolen kits without her knowledge. The real guilty part was not being harder on Littlestar or Foxbane at the time, maybe if she had confronted them, had stopped seeing Littlestar as a child she would have spotted the kits earlier, prevented the whole headache for Fallingleaves. But choices had been taken or neglected and time continued to move. So if she could be one less annoying face for Fallingleaves then it was the least she could do.
"Hey, I don't go back on my word to a friend," Glowstar said encouragingly, "So c'mon, let's see the little hell spawn."
She paused before also mentioning, "Preferably walk back over to me, the reason I haven't gotten up to greet you is being petrified in fear."

Fallingleaves had almost left, when she was told to wait. She turned listening to Glowstar's words with her mouth full of scruff before turning and approaching the leader. She sat the little squeaking bundle down on her own paws so that she could see it, but it wasn't touching her yet. At this stage it looked very much like a newborn kitten, just a little longer in the body and a face whose proportions were just not quite right for a kitten. In her opinion it was even cuter than most of the newborn kittens that she had seen, though she figured Glowstar would disagree on that matter.
"Thank you" she replied revealing the small creature that she had brought with her. It meant a lot that she hadn't already fled, much less that she was actually considering taking it on and caring for it "I know how scary this is for you, but you are the only one I would trust with it" her mothers were both dead, the father of her kits no where to be seen, and even her friends seemed to be angry with her... At the current moment Glowstar was almost the only cat she felt comfortable talking to
"I'll um... I mean I know I can care for the little guy," Glowstar said with a confident smile, but her eyes shined with fear staring down at the tiny hell spawn, "But I'll try my best for the whole, not fearing the f-f-ferret... I mean, I've raised demons before so I can do this. I can do this. I mean you wouldn't have given it to me if I couldn't right? So yeah. Um. Maybe help me set up a little environment for it in my den...? Which is just this tree."
