Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Just as Sean spoke up, Havilah's eyes snapped open and in a split second he was back on his feet. He crouched low to the ground, his forest green eyes skirting from cat to cat as he took in the scene until finally they rested back on Emiko. A growl rose in the back of his throat and sparks began to fly once more. It didn't take a genius to realize he was going to attack her again, so there was time to get between him and his adopted mother, but was it worth the risk? Havilah's element was in full effect when he lunged for a second time and Emiko was a murdered who really did deserve execution...

Luckily, Shule had planted Emiko close by to her so that Havilah couldn't reach her without going through the Commander first, and stepped directly in the tom's path, quick to pull Dusky with her, so that when the tom lunged, instead of his element going off, he was instead met by a white paw grabbing the side of his head and slamming it none too gently into the ground. Probably not enough for a concussion, but it would definitely hurt. "Stand down, Havilah." Shule's words were sharp, cold, and carried and air of authority that would cause any sane soldier to snap out of their haze. The key word being sane soldier, and Commander Shule wasn't entirely sure she wouldn't have to fight him.
"She killed them!" Havilah snarled, struggling against Shule's grip but not making much progress. He was a fairly powerful tom but between the use of his element and the emotional turmoil he was in, he just couldn't muster the strength to break free, "It wasn't Foxstar, it was Emiko! She's the murderer and I'm going to tear our her throat for taking everything away from me!"

Shule understood, she did. Desperately. "And killing her is going to bring them back?" The Commander answered quietly. "Get a hold of yourself before you end up hurting someone. Emiko will be dealt with, but I'm not letting you touch her right now."
"What kind of question is that, Commander?" Havilah snarled, struggling a bit more before more or less going limp. Not by choice, but exhaustion, "Killing her won't bring them back, but it'll sure as hell make me feel better. She's despicable. Worse than the worst. To think I called her mother when she was the one who killed mine... it makes me sick..."

"Temporary relief in anger isn't truly feeling better. You're not getting near her, and that's final. Why don't you start from the beginning, and tell us what happened? Yelling and fighting won't get you anywhere." Shule didn't notice any signs of life beyond the faint sounds of Emiko's breathing behind her. Her step-son really did do a number on the she-cat.
"What more is there to say!?" Lightning sparked in the Havilah's eyes, pure, raw emotion, the kind that hurt anyone who held them too long. His emotion was palpable and overpowering, but his strength, well, that was lacking. He couldn't break the hold with brute strength and was too wound up to think technique through properly, "She's a murderer, same as everyone has said my whole life, and is proud of it, too! Execution would be too kind of a punishment for the likes of her! She needs to suffer, just like Breasel did!"

"Do you really want her to suffer? Or do you just want to make her feel the same pain you're feeling right now?" Shule knew he'd probably answer the former, even if it was the latter, but she didn't budge from her position.
"Does it really matter!?" Havilah found Commander Shule's questions confusion and plain stupid. She needed to suffer for every reason a creative mind could come up with. She was everything that the Regime's rumors had said she was, a heartless murderer who would surely kill again if left unchecked, but if Shule didn't even understand that then there was no point in talking to her any longer. He resumed struggling against the Commander's restraints but made little to no progress, the earlier use of his element weakening him, "Let me go!"
Havilah was a very militant cat. As much as he openly challenged Shule, he'd never once disobeyed her. A proper Regime cat never ignored the direct command of their Superior no matter how much they hated it. If they did, they were no better than Clan cats.
So, the auburn-furred tom tensed up one last time then relaxed, although he never stopped growling.
"If I can't kill her, then please tell me you plan to do it. She's done nothing but murder and ruin others' lives for her entire life. That merits execution."
