Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Gardeniapaw stared teary eyed at her mother, but wiped at her eyes, "Well I was thinking that we can't take all of them prisoner and killing while effective, would take a while and wound our warriors. So let's just take Commander Shule as prisoner. We'll have control over her entire army then."
Howlingnight stared up at Senescence, his haint blue eyes widening as her claws came towards him, "But..." He stared up at her, unable to even grasp the reality in front of him, "Your my mom! You can't lose one of your own children!"
Dottymask stood her ground watching Pandora before gently nuzzling Goslingkit to calm her. Facing back to Pandora she spoke, "I had only just gotten my warrior name when I was assigned to those kits. And within the first moon I witnessed and heard my leader imprison her second in command and knight, exile another knight, and attempt to murder a litter of kits. I had to raise ten kits, barely old enough to have my warrior name. There was no standing up to a leader like Wintrystar and there was no getting all TEN kits from a frozen mountain out to safety. I did what I had to do for myself and them to survive. Everyone can live in their fantasy world and say I could have done better. That I should have been kinder, but I couldn't have! I couldn't have done any better than I did. I wept for weeks when Quiveringkit was banished and froze out there. I loved Dirtykit and was willing to do anything to let her lead a normal life and if it risked death, I took it. I took it because death was more merciful. And then perfect Blazingbluejay, comes back and claims my kits. I raised them, I went through the trouble of putting my tail on the line just to keep them safe enough to only land a beating and nothing worse! I am their mother and I did all that I could in a friggin' sucky situation. So if you have a raw hatred inside for me, then have it, but don't have it without hating Wintrystar too," Dottymask hissed lowly.
Rodent winced as Huntleigh dragged him down to the ground. The sepia tom squirmed beneath the tall Regime cat until they were rolling. The mercenaries claws were hooked deep into this skin at this point, each roll penetrating his talons further into him. He was holding back cries, but by the end he was whimpering, forcing himself to hold back tears. Right as they stopped Rodent locked eyes with Wolftundra just as his captor looked away. He didn't know why he expected more, he was just Wolftundra's pet. He was expected to take all the hits in order to earn his keep.
Before he could think more he was kicked off to the side by Huntleigh rolling stiffly into the cavern wall. Rodent tried to lift himself up before crumpling to the ground. He was about ready to lie in defeat, but something inside of him woke up. He had lost every fight he'd been in, did he really want that to be his legacy or was he at least going to fight to change it? Rodent struggled to his paws, nearly collapsing a second time before fighting his footing. Leaping forward he grabbed onto Huntleigh tugging him down just as Commander Shule was attacked, preventing him from striking.
In a wave of red and a quick bolt of silver Rottenfang had swerved in front of Commander Shule. His fangs had found his step fathers throat like an instinct he always had inside of himself. For a moment Rottenfang just held Silverfury in his jaws, almost a tender moment of holding his abuser back from touching Commander Shule, from finishing her off. The peaceful mercy he gave to his step father that he had never shown to him. He stared down at his bloody paw from battling with Rodent and Wolftundra. The blood reminded him of the day when Silverfury had-
The memory slipped back into his mind like a claw slowly tearing into through every vital organ. This time into every vital part of him that kept him sane. The parts where he had to believe his step parents loved him or no one did. The parts where he told himself he deserved the beatings or else have his pride shattered. The part where Silverfury tore his mother apart, beat in his own mothers blood, smothered him in it.
"Y'know... A father once said. A demon will never know what love is."
There was a sickening crunch from Rottenfangs jaws snapping down onto Silverfury's neck twisting his head to a twisted angle only an owl could achieve. The body landed on the floor with a loud thud. Rottenfang stood over his step father, staring down at him with a tired expression, "And he was right, I feel nothing." His claws swiped the back of his father's head, "Still nothing." His claws gripped onto the back of his fathers head crushing into him until his paw felt sore from the impact of claw hitting bone. He slammed his fathers head repeatedly into the stone floor, "Nothing! Nothing! NOTHING!" He shouted, before pausing, "Wait wait!" He held up his fathers bloody head, but the face was no longer there, distorted, the eyes closed up and swelling. He sat there for a moment like he was about to feel something, "Nope! Because a demon can't and I'd be happier if I." He pounded his fathers head into the pavement harder than before, "Stopped." He lifted his fathers head up higher, "Trying." With that he crushed his fathers head into the ground one last time, an explosion of red hitting the floor, dislodging his fathers eye from the socket.
Rottenfang turned around, his expression brightening at the sight of his friend, "Huntleigh look! I stood up for myself," He shouted across the battle field to him, smiling as he said it. His laughter teetering on genuine joy to spiraling insanity. Rottenfang's paws were shaking, as he looked out into the crowd of WinterClan, DayClan, and Renegade Regime cats, "
Silverfury knew Rottenfang was there, but he'd chosen to ignore him, his focus entirely on Shule. Thus, when his adoptive son lunged at him, he was blindsided, "You--" He began to hiss but his voice was choked off in moments as the demon wrapped his fangs around his throat. Silverfury was disgusted to be so close to the cursed creature but didn't have any time to retaliate before he twisted suddenly, slamming him to the ground with such force that he heard his neck snap before he even realized what was happened.
Neck contorted at a strange angle, Silverfury was unable to breath, speak or otherwise move his body. All he could do was gurgle and choke. His eyes burned with hatred as peer at Rottenfang's paws, unable to look him in the eye, but, somehow, against all odds, he managed to growl. It was quiet and airy, but it was the only way he could manifest his hatred of the demon that he knew had killed him.
Blood oozed from his mouth and his vision blurred as he felt Rottenfang's claws dig into his head now, bashing him over and over again, but he didn't feel any of it. Not hot, not cold, just numb pressure, and he could do nothing about it. So, he did the one thing he could do which was growl for as long as he was lucid enough to do so, before fading away into the soothing embrace of death herself...
Wintrystar pulled herself to her paws, angry, in pain, and done with this battle. Their home had been invade, their cats ambushed, their kits in danger. This was enough. With a growl, she called out to all of those around her. It was enough to freeze the battle, even if just for a moment “Shule! You come unprepared for our lands! You are defeated! While we may be injured with mere scratches, your cats are retreating and losing around you. Some have even died. We stand strong in the snow. We are WinterClan! You have no chance against us. I offer you this,” she paused, pulling herself to her full height, staring the other leader down and daring her to take WinterClan lightly, “surrender yourself and I shall allow your cats to leave as they are. Deny this chance of mercy and all will perish at our claws. The snow I’ll be stained red with their blood! I will not offer this twice so I wo mercy when it is shown to you.”
Around her the cats of WinterClan had paused in their battles, eyes and ears in-tuned to their Sovereign’s cry out over the sounds of war. Few of them had substained major injuries but many of the other cats had misjudged the terrain and cats of WinterClan. They were losing and all could tell that. Snow, ice, and the land of the mountain wasn’t an easy are ago fight in. But it is to those who call it homes who battle these elements every day just to survive. You should always be aware when attempting to attack someone on their home turf, it usually sets you up to lose. Just what has happened here with DayClan and Renagade Regime attack WinterClan in their winter wonderland of a home.

DAYCLAN
Pandora stared at Dottymask. She wanted to kill her, but as much as she wished to do so, she couldn't, not knowing the she-cat had young kits. "You did all you could? Maybe you actually believe that. What I see is someone so pathetic they'd actually bow to Wintrystar. Believe me, the contempt I have for you is nothing compared to the raw hatred I have for her, but you're little better. You took the easier way out, and I hope enjoy living with the consequences that you've brought upon yourself. I pity your current kits, that they have to have you for a mother, and I can only wish they'll fare better than my sister's children that YOU were instrumental in tormenting." She spun around there and left Dottymask to whatever would befall her in the future. Despite knowing she wouldn't kill the she-cat given her having kits, it was hard to turn and leave, and not actually avenge Bluejay. She felt like a failure, in a sense, that she couldn't see this through to the end. On the other paw, she knew how wrong it would have been, to sink to the level of intentionally killing a queen with small kits. Faith
Senescence leaned in to Howlingnight staring at him deeply with her blank eyes. "Fia's already dead, Alvah." She told him, slowly blinking, two tears dripping down onto her son's cheeks, the only ounce of any emotion at all, there one moment, and gone the next as she continued to hold him down. One dead, and another to follow. At least with him, she was there, a luxury Fia was never afforded. Faith
RENEGADE REGIME
One second, Shule was about to die. The next and her distant nephew had saved her life, though she felt a sort of creeping horror at his actions escalated. However, she managed too keep her face calm, despite it, or at least, hide it when he was looking. Her voice was soft as she addressed him, Wintrystar's voice already echoing in her ears. "Go find Lex. It's time for you to go home." She told him, her voice as gentle as it could possibly be. Then she rose back to her paws, squaring her shoulders and walking through the crowd towards Wintrystar. "Let them go, and I'll surrender!" She answered back, her voice clear as could be in response, gaze finding the Sovereign's with and irritatingly stoic expression. paoFaith
