Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
@faith @biyuu WinterClan Crimsonrose glanced back towards Leatherstar and sighed, "Ah, yes, though I do care deeply for Leatherstar sometimes his wandering eyes can be a pain he ran off to SunClan the other day to see one of his numerous mates and I wanted to throw him into a snowbank and sit on him. And I'd like to say I was an 8, not many untouchables could keep up with me, though I don't think I could've gotten the upwards momentum to rise above being an untouchable in the league. Plus Mysterykit is happy. Maybe one day you'll see her in battle Thane. That'd definitely be quite an experience for her, battling a former league cat." She said her whiskers twitching. "But yes, Peachstar you already have a good thing here," She gestured with her paw between Peachstar and Thane. "So take Thane's advice and not bother with Leatherstar."
The tom raised a brow, wondering why this she-cat was mentioning this stuff. He didnt care. "Im guessing then by your name that your territory is a bog. Fruitless and infertile. Unfortunate, as it would appear." He scoffed, tail flicking.
Leatherstar wrinkled his nose at the suggestion that his two full blooded WinterClan parent Blisteringstorm, and Coralsnow would give their only son a rogue name. "Ehem... Leatherfern is an herb. A plant, Glowstar." he tried to withstand the small smirk rising in the corner of his mouth but his efforts were fruitless. His ears twitched at Crimsonrose' both protecting him and degrading him all at once. gee thanks. He thought as he focused back on Glowstar and Sweetpine. "Funny. Ive never been to DayClan. But perhaps with this future raid I may get an eye full."
Winterpaw looked astounded by the responses that she got from the cats. "What in the name of Nivet is a Errapawhatever?" she meowed with a shocked tone. "Or an Argon?" She was clearly butcering the names, and the normally respectful cat seemed to have lost all sense of manners. What were these cats talking about? Were they having a mass delusion? She looked confused; after all, she had never been exposed to any sort of religion outside of her own. She wasn't even familiar with StarClan. "I'm from BrookClan," she meowed after a moment, realizing that the one cat had asked her a question in return. "I'm dedicated to Devonei. The names you said aren't even gods!" she meowed, not realizing just how crass she was being.
Jetclaw and others olo Kerrigan nodded at Burningstar, her tail wrapping even more dilligently around her stomach. The idea of her... sister-in-law having kittens reminded her even more clearly of the news that she was about to bare. "Congratulations, Burningstar," she meowed with a nod. "It is about time you were able to get a kitten of your own." She said it with a smile, although maybe Burningstar would sense the words had an ulterior motive. Her eyes looked too tired to really mean this, though.
"Perhaps this would be a good time to make my own announcement." Her body became tense as she felt her stomach shift. Her eyes squinted for a moment, before she took a deep breath. "I am expecting kittens of my own. Springlockedgrave expects there to be five." It was unclear if she was happy about this sentiment, but, once again, it had allowed her to have an out from a situation she wasn't sure she was going to be able to wrangle herself from. "Because of this, BrookClan must withdraw from the major alliance. I appologize to both you, Burningstar, and Foxstar about this, however I cannot justify allowing my clan mates to continue to face the uncertainty of active duty while I myself will be temporarily out of commission. It would be unfair to them and I cannot break the trust of my comrades to lead them into a situation riddled with potential danger when I myself cannot accompany them."
She spoke clearly and with authority, although there appeared to be some uncertainty in her eyes. "I am sure that you all will be able to sustain without me." Her ear flicked as a soft bitterness rolled through her mind. However, the words were spoken in a smile. "I truly appreciate the support that BrookClan has found in SunClan and NightClan, and I wish that the circumstance was different. We will not forget what you have done."
Her gaze slid over to Glowstar for a moment, hoping that the DayClan leader hadn't been too distracted to hear the news. After all, the real reason everything had happened the way it did was because of the way things had ended between them. If things had gone a little smoother... The Tsar's tail trashed slightly and her eyes moved away. She was still deeply upset about Glowstar and the end of their friendship. Even just the symbol of the feather the other leader had brought her and how it was entwined in her flower crown suggested that. She hoped Glowstar would see this as an olive branch.
Burningstar's eyes lit up when Kerrigan congratulated her, bobbing her head. "Thank you! I'm thinking when he gets bigger we'll bring him by to meet his step siblings." Though once the bliss of talking about her precious son Bonfirekit, she was once more drawn to that Kerrigan seemed off. And when she spoke up she turned her whole attention to the tsar.
And when the tsar said she was going to have kits, and pull out of the alliance. Burningstar wanted to jump for joy.
"Congratulations! Wow! 5 kits, that's wonderful Kerrigan!" Burningstar said going over to the she cat, and she settled down closer to her, and dipping her head. "And I completely understand, you need to take care of your kits." She said earnestly, fighting to stop herself from squealing and just jumping for joy. That'd be... not the most dignified and Foxstar would probably realize she wasn't just happy about Kerrigan having kits, but about the end of the alliance as well. "But wow, that's great! Have you thought of names? Oh they're going to be adorable! You'll have to let me and Lindon know when you kit, we'd love to come visit you and I'd love to meet your kits. I just, that's amazing Kerrigan!" Burningstar knew she was gushing, but she was honestly just so overwhelmed with joy. It was the end of the alliance, SpringClan and DayClan could be released, and Kerrigan was going to have kits. Bonfirekit would have cousins. Not just step siblings, but cousins! "Congratulations! I said that already didn't I?" She said giggling a bit. "I'm a little jealous too, I was hoping I'd have a litter first so you could come and see them. But oh well, Bonfirekit will be so excited to learn he's going to have cousins!" Burningstar said.
Sleetpaw looked embarrassed, realizing that maybe she wasn't talking to him at all, but Mistyveil. Still, he couldn't let this personal grievance go! She had insulted his god! Sleetpaw... wasn't really sure about much when it came to their deities, only the bare minimum; he wasn't much for thinking. But this was an affront to his clan and he would not let it stand. His silver-and-black fur puffed out on end and he glared at her indignantly. "Arawn, not Argon! Are your ears full of fluff? They must be. Devonai is a weird way to say Durai." Wait... maybe the problem wasn't her ears at all! His fur smoothed back down. "Oh, sorry, I get it now. I didn't mean to make fun of the way you speak," he told her sincerely. "I assumed you were confused, not incapable."

For Foxstar's part, she accepted the she-cat bowing out without more than a slight twitch of her tale. Unlike Burningstar's blatant betrayal at the execution, at least Kerrigan provided a reasonable explanation, bowing out with grace so as not to anger either of her allies. Of course, the High Priestess wasn't delusional. The NightClan leader had never wanted a part in this, and she'd more than demonstrated that. Accepting the announcement with a gracious nod, the she-cat was quick to move on to Burningstar, even as the other leader was gushing over the kits. "And what of you? Will you be remaining in the alliance?" She hadn't expressly said no as of yet, but even so, the painted Priestess appeared as though she already knew the answer, for better or worse.
