Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A blur of emotions-- anger, shock, disbelief-- flashed so quickly over his expression that he managed to disguise it as a fleeting moment of sadness, drawing in a stabilizing breath. "Of course," came his forced reply, his chivalry threatening to crack. This had been anticipated but that did not smolder the rising heat he felt in the aftermath of his fury. In a likewise taut tone, he continued, "I just ask you not keep my fluttering heart at bay for long. Heartbreak is not so easy on me these days."
He donned a somber smile before he hefted himself, with false effort, to his paws, sauntering towards the nursery where Pikekit peered out, curiously glancing between his father and Orchiddrop.
Orchiddrop watched him go with slumped shoulders, wondering once again if she wasn't messing everything up. With a sigh, she flicked her tail and headed out for a hunting session to clear her mind. The waves of nausea she felt were unusual, and she wondered idly if she should see Graythorn in the following days.
