Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Fillypaw rolled her eyes as her mother sprawled herself over her father. She loved both her parents but she had easily grown apart from them now that her father was dead and their mother had gone insane. It was easier to deal with the emotions that way, too. She approached her mother, a blank expression on her face. "Get up." She growled to her mother. "He's dead and nothing in this world is going to bring him back. We clearly saw that." She placed her paw on her father's corpse to keep her mother from dragging it away. "You need to get yourself together and be a mother to your kits. Stop fussing over him, he's gone. Right now, you need to be there for your children, not the other way around." racer

It was if the tiny silver she-cat didn't even hear her children's protests as she tried dragging his corpse, tears in her eyes when she couldn't move him very far on on her own "We don't have to make it to the fields" she mewed frantically, the thoughts of the death symbols and decapitaton far to much for her to handle "He was born in MoonClan, we can burry him here" her paws digging into the cold earth beneath her feet where she stood as she began to scrape away at the ground her eyes never leaving his corpse
Fillypaw closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to calm herself before opening them back up to see her mother scraping away at the ground, frantically trying to dig a grave right where they stood. She moved forward and blocked her mother from digging, forcing Tinymutiny to look her daughter in the eyes. "If we bury him here, will you finally let go?" She asked, all seriousness in her eyes.
"Mom..." Valleypaw wasn't a particularly strong-willed she-cat. Like her father, she wanted everyone to just get along and be happy, but life in SunClan wouldn't allow her to realize such a simple dream. As she listened to Fillypaw tear into her mother for her present behavior, she pinned her head to the back of her head, not sure if she should step in or let it play out. When Tinymutiny began to dig, however, she made her up mind and reluctantly pressed against her mother's side, she wasn't being forceful but she was trying to move her away, "We can't bury him here, it's a risk... Let... Just let us handle it, okay? Just try to get some rest..."

Tinymutiny dug and dug and dug, only stopping when someone tried to touch Oakshades body. She could feel Valleypaw pressed against her, but it did little to stop her digging, her paw pads beginning to crack and bleed from the cold ground "He has to be burred" she murmured, her feet not stopping their desperate scrapings even as it began to hurt herself "I promised him... He promised me..." tears were streaking down her face "He has to be be buried so that I can be buried with him" the stench of death and decay clung to her pelt almost as much his, pieces of his skin still stuck onto her fur "I promised him" he tone becoming more strained and desperate. Her mind was somewhere else, back to when the two of them had been buried alive. Him lying on his back, while she curled up on his stomach with her head on his chest listening to his heart
"This is... pathetic. Tinymutiny, you used to be one of the most fearsome she-cat's in all of SunClan. Imagine what Foxbane would think of you if she saw you now, clinging to a rotting corpse and denying him the burial he deserves," Bloodystar's voice was quiet, meant only for the cats nearby to hear, for he knew if too many made out his words they would surely try to "correct" him, "I don't want to rob you the chance to say you final goodbyes to Oakshade. But if you keep this up, I may have to."
"..." Valleypaw's tongue was dry, her vision blurry. She hated Bloodystar for the way he spoke to her mother. Hated him for the way he lead them into the situation. She hated him for a lot of things, but mostly she hated him for being right. Tinymutiny was not even half the cat she used to be and it felt like Valleypaw lost two parents that day, "... M-mom... Let go..."
Tenebrouspaw watched Ferventpaw sobbing and the dark tom's ears drooped. His ire fading away to be replaced by an aching hollowness the tom really didn't like.
He took a hesitant step towards her then stopped. What was he supposed to say? 'It's gonna be okay?'
Things were the opposite of okay. The dead had risen again, and Ferventpaw's own sister had come back from a horrible death to try and inflict death on Ferventpaw. Tenebrouspaw still remembered the red that had stained Ferventpaw's fur and Tenebrouspaw felt guilt he'd left her behind.
What would he do if she died? He wasn't close to any of the other apprentices that were in Bloody's care, and without that protection... however little it was, he could be in danger.
Plus he just... didn't want her to die. But he wished she'd stop hurting so badly. It hurt to watch her, it made his heart twist and stomach drop and throat tighten. And it was such icky icky feelings and he didn't like it

"If love makes you weak, then I'm proud to be weak" she replied refuses to back away even at the leader's threats "If you had ever truely loved someone you would understand" he fur was bristled outwards leaving no doubt that she would fight if he pressed the issue "But you haven't, you haven't known true love. When Satinlights left you were able to move on, you haven't addressed Jetfire is gone nor have you cared" her teeth showing in a feral snarl "You will never understand the depths of what it means to be truely in love, your incapable of such" Jadie
"That's enough," Bloodystar growled, his voice low and feral, eyes blazing in rage. Few cats had the guts to bring up his many failed relationships. It was a trigger for him, the strongest evidence of his personal failures, and he worked hard to ignore them and move on every day. Having them thrown in front of him like that, well, there was no greater insult. He lifted his paw and smacked Tinymutiny across the face, then attempted to shoulder her off Oakshade's corpse, "Apologize to me or I'll leave Oakshade to rot right here. His soul will wander, never find peace, and eventually be consumed by the Moon Goddess, forever kept away from you, even in death. Is that what you want? Is it really what he deserves?!"
"NO!" Valleypaw cried out and from where her paws met the ground grass and brambles began to grow. She let out a high pitched shriek and jumped back, but her element had been fully unleashed and a tree sprouted from beneath Oakshade's corpse, growing straight through what would have been his heart. At the present it was small and non-intrusive, no taller than a cat, but it was growing steadily. If it didn't stop soon, it would be too big to cut down, and Valleypaw had no idea how to turn it off...

It was like Tinymutiny didn't even feel the slap, even as blood trickled down her cheek "You mean how you left Satinlights to rot?" they had never found her body, her words cruel and hurting as suddenly the tree began growing upwards up and out of her mates body as the she-cat shrieked, branched poking into her own flesh as she was pushed upwards as the tree continued to grow, but refusing to leave oakshad as she reached for him
