Mysteryleaf shut her eyes and twisted her head shifting her position so Tigerlily would have to jump to the other side to try and get closer to her muzzle again. She bit down on whatever bit of his flesh she could get on in this position.
She let out a muffled grunt when Laughingsky landed on top of her, resulting in her pushing Snowthorn harder down into the ground with his added weight. But though Laughingsky tried to pull her off, the red haze hadn't let up and she continued to dig into Snowthorn. But at least Laughingsky now prevented her from adjusting her position to actually deal a killing blow.
Though now Snowthorn had the weight of two cats on top of him. Granted Laughingsky was trying, but off balance and Mysteryleaf digging into Snowthorn with all four claws and teeth, it was going to require better leverage.
There was a growl that sounded more wolf than cat as a black bolt of lightning shot into every cats vision. Disloyaldog moved underneath Mysteryleaf, twisting his jaw into her mouth, biting down on her upper jaw in order to force her muzzle open by using his own muzzle was a buffer to the bite. Snaking his claws around her body he rolled her off of Snowthorn in a sharp twist. His mouth still biting the inside and outside of Mysteryleaf's as he wrenched her off of Snowthorn. The moment he wrestled her onto the ground he held her down into submission, releasing her from his bite only if she let go first. No one, but a masochist like himself would put himself directly in that much harms way so casually the first move.
Tigerlily had backed off the moment she heard the growl, glad for it when she saw how brutally Disloyaldog tackled Mysteryleaf down. Instead racing up to Snowthorn, not comforting him immediately. First keeping in eye contact with Mysteryleaf to see if she would get out of dogs grip and strike back again.
Mysteryleaf snarled as Disloyaldog managed to slid between her and Snowthorn. Though the snarl became a hiss of pain as he bit down on the upper part of her mouth and muzzle. Her claws were yanked out of Snowthorn and instead moved to try and push against Disloyaldog.
But even as she tried to push him off, she recognized the position was bad. Her muzzle and upper jaw were beginning to hurt and even trying to bite the lower part of Disloyaldog's mouth as she instinctively tried to close her mouth did little. It simply increased the pressure on her own muzzle.
So she released the bite and instead pushed up against him trying to force him off of her. Flanks heaving as she struggled.
But Disloyaldog was older, stronger and better trained. Mysteryleaf might've been Bright Brigade, but she was still a newbie in comparison to Disloyaldog. Plus, anything she did to the tom would simply egg him on.
After a few more attempts to push him off of her, Mysteryleaf went limp, chest rising and falling as she worked to recover her breath. The red haze starting to recede, as she lay pinned by Disloyaldog.

First there was an unbearable weight on top of him and he swore the earth was about to swallow him up. Then, everything just disappeared. Through his spotting vision, he’d seen a demon grip the monster’s jaw, then Snowthorn had blinked and he was free. His whole body ached, but it felt dull now. At some point adrenaline had kicked in and the pain he should feel from the cuts was gone. Although he could still feel the blood pulsing out of his stomach and chest. Tigerlily appeared above him or in his peripheral, and he mistook her at first as an angel. It was a sign that he might be safe.
Slowly, the tom turned onto his side, using his limbs to hide the pink and red fur of his underbelly. He wasn’t sure if Mysteryleaf was done, but he couldn’t risk any more damage there. “Thanks,” he coughed out to no one in particular, though the word was barely audible.

Well, unfortunately for Laughingsky, he hadn't actually anticipated Disloyaldog coming after Mysteryleaf, and when Mysteryleaf was rolled under the Forsaken, well, the Imperial went with her, and now he was trapped uselessly under her, wriggling to try and get free. "Hey, I'm under here too!" He protested, though his voice was rather muffled by Mysterleaf's fur in his mouth.
Once Mysteryleaf released her grip on him he immediately let go of his bite, but he didn't budge. Instead he towered over her, keeping Mysteryleaf in place until he saw the signs that she her rage had ceased. Releasing his hold he licked the top of her muzzle twice where he had bitten her before returning over to Snowthorn. His massive paw moving over Snowthorn's wound to keep the blood from flowing out.
Tigerlily had been pacing back and forth in almost a prowl waiting to see if Mysteryleaf would charge back at her mate, but when she surrendered she immediately moved to touch Snowthorn's face. No words, just pure concern. Seeing Disloyaldog at Snowthorn's side she felt certain he would be safe, "I'm going to get the medicine cats," She said moving away from Snowthorn to fetch them. HoneystormCleaver (Snowthorn's beaten up and bleeding, need Vixenkismet and Ebonygold)
"First beating?" Disloyaldog asked Snowthorn, not even calling it a fight.

Vixenkismet wasn't far. The she-cat, actually, was in the medicine den, organizing herbs. She hadn't bothered to leave when she heard the sounds of fighting. Maybe she should be concerned, but she expected she'd be found if someone else didn't deal with the issue first. As it so happened, she noted someone enter the den from her peripheral vision, and began pulling herbs she'd just stacked up. "Who?" She asked simply, not bothering to look at Tigerlily as she grabbed the herbs.
Mysteryleaf winced, surprised when Disloyaldog rasped his tongue over where he'd bitten her. A paw going up to touch her muzzle. She could feel the slight indents where his teeth had dug into her flesh.
Registering Laughingsky under her she quickly rolled off him, her anger no longer there but a pit of dread forming in her stomach as she looked towards Snowthorn. He wasn't dead, she hadn't gotten to his throat to deliver an actual death blow.
Nervously she looked towards Lionpaw, fearing the apprentices reaction and her heart dropped into her stomach when she saw him cowering near Harvestcharm.
She wasn't able to process what was going to happen. She'd just, snapped. Everything had come crashing down all of the sudden and the anger overwhelmed her. And now, now with the taste of iron in her mouth, Snowthorn's blood or her own from Disloyaldog biting down on the inside of her mouth. She felt her stomach sinking to her paws.
She turned away from Snowthorn and the sight of Lionpaw to focus on Laughingsky. "You okay?" She asked softly. Voice hollow. She'd failed Sweetiepeach. Whatever happened now, there was no way Lionpaw would ever come within several fox lengths of her.

Snowthorn wasn’t a medicine cat, but he knew it wouldn’t be good to faint so he battled to stay conscious. Easier said than done, but so far it was working. He heard Tigerlily say she was getting help and that reassured him a bit, but he wished he had the strength to go with her. He could almost feel Mysteryleaf’s eyes on him and he was worried that being near her might be enough to set her off again.
Registering footsteps close by, he looked up to see what he’d just mistook as a demon, but now recognized as his servant. Very lightheaded and not feeling so much like himself or healthy, he actually gave Disloyaldog a dopey smile. He’d saved him after all! What might have been a jab at him normally sounded like a friendly greeting now and he matched the tone. “Jealous?” He breathed out, wincing from the effort and the stab of pain it brought him. “I didn’t deserve it,” he slurred as an afterthought. He knew the maverick would assume the beating had been brought on by himself, but Snowthorn would beg to differ. Not that his words seemed to prove anything to anyone these days. “I think I’m gonna... pass out...”
"Snowthorn, he was attacked and is bleeding out," Tigerlily explained, calmer then she would have liked. She had been robbed of feeling first, instead it was always maintaining an appearance first. She wanted to feel humane, to get choked up, have her voice wobbled, but now after spying so long none of that came naturally.
Disloyaldog smiled at his Imperials comment, good one.
“I think I’m gonna... pass out...”
"Oh um." Disloyaldog's gaze scanned everything around him, he wasn't sure how to keep Snowthorn from passing out, he was already low to the ground. Using his enormous body he curled up around the bloodied warrior, opting to lick the tom across the ear to cause enough agitation to keep him awake. But he knew if Snowthorn kept losing the amount of blood he was that would not save the warrior. "Talk to me about anything," He insisted, not wanting Snowthorn to pass out.

Disloyaldog was curled up around him, licking him, and he didn't even care. The contact that should have repulsed him filled him instead with a strong sense of security, reminding him of his mother cradling him in the nursery a long time ago. It was because of this that Snowthorn found it all to easy to talk about anything. Every word brought a new sensation of pain, but they spilled out of him mindlessly and uncensored. "I'm not very good at fighting, am I? Yeah, I'm not good at it at all. But you know what? Tigerlily is even worse at it than me. I didn't know cats could be so awful at it, but she's so... beautiful. She looks like a bunch of snowflakes or a star or... I don't know why she wants to be mates with me. Oh, we're mates by the way. I never told you," the Imperial mumbled on, letting out a half laugh, half groan when he realized that he hadn't had much time to tell anyone the news. "She's something else. All spur of the moment I think. Scared the heck out of me. Are all she-cats like that? Did Dirt, wait no... Sandyshell? No um Gravelshell! Did she sweep you off your paws too? I still can't believe you two are together. And you're a dad! Daddy dog! What even?" It was unclear if he would ever stop talking.

Laughingsky offered Mysteryleaf a hint of a smile as he got to his paws, dusting himself off and inspecting his limbs. "Shouldn't be more than a few bruises. I've survived worse." He answered lightly, stepping in to examine the she-cat. "How about you? Are you okay?" The words seemed to imply more than simply relating to her physical injuries, slight concern written across his features.
Back in the medicine den, Vixenkismet organized the herbs, and then wrapped them up in a bundle without explanation as to what they were, heading out and for Snowthorn. "So, who did he piss off?" There were quite a few cats gathered, so she couldn't immediately pick out who'd started it, though regardless, the healer didn't sound altogether sympathetic. Her ears twitched as she shouldered her way threw the cats who were milling about to see Lucistic wrapped around the tom. It was almost funny. "Alright, I can take over from here."
"You're one of the better warriors in the clan, she's just bright brigade," Disloyaldog grinned, he would give credit where credit was due. It wasn't like Snowthorn was incredible, but he definitely fought better than average. His eyes widened listening to him go on about Tigerlily, he probably should have seen it coming, but he really didn't. Tigerlily could make any guy love her, she was just interested in a husband that could give her good status, that much he was certain. He would have to warn him not get too-
"Oh, we're mates by the way. I never told you."
Disloyaldog cringed, "Are you serious?" He had a million more questions to ask and even more ideas on how to take advantage of Snowthorn's state, heck he hadn't even begun to start when Vixenkismet came over. He was disappointed that the show would have to be over so soon as he stepped away for her to do her work. "Alright, you get better big guy."
"YOU ARE DEMOTED!" Tigerlily hissed at Mysteryleaf as she strode up right to the she-cats face, "Forget socialite, you are a Maverick. Look at the gore coming from Snowthorn's body and the trauma you've instilled in Lionpaw. You attacked to kill, you destroyed peace the moment you decided your claws worked better than your words. You are not fit to be of equal class to anyone at the kind of threat level you displayed. I am an Immortal Council member Mysteryleaf, I expect more respect from you then for you to assume I'd do nothing if you had a concern. You decided to take matters into your own paws before even giving me a chance, instead you just shouted nonsense without further explanation."
"Well god damn, I'd have said yes to DayClan sooner if I got this kind of entertainment right off the bat, you have a nice time settling in Lionpaw," Harvestcharm said, leaving Lionpaw to look between his new guardian lying bloody on the ground, the other yelling at Mysteryleaf and then of course Mysteryleaf who was his mothers old friend exhausted on the ground. It was a lot to take in on his first day...

"Maverick for one fight. Huh. Seems a bit ridiculous." Vixenkismet mused to herself as she began to check out Snowthorn's injuries. Of course the ex-Priestess turned Medicine Cat would think it was overboard. The fox furred feline had killed oh... how many DayClan cats, including ex leaders? Or otherwise hurt members of the group. She'd done a lot more than Mysteryleaf, and it seemed odd to her that would be such an affect. Then again, if it were Glowstar that had gotten so hurt, Foxbane would have just murdered the cat who hurt her, so maybe she didn't have the room to judge.
"No! That's ridiculous, Tigerlily." Laughingsky, naturally, was going to defend his friend. Luckily, he was an Imperial as well, so he did have the power to do so. "Peacekeeper would make sense, but Maverick is ridiculous! You're only going so far because he's your mate." He waved his half leg at Vixenkismet pointedly. "She's a Maverick for crimes far worse than attacking a clanmate in anger. And especially given the fact Mysteryleaf was trusted with such a high rank in the first place, such a demotion is unwarranted."
"If that is the bar you set for your clan mates in SunClan it surprises me none that such a clan produced the dictator they have. Mavericks treated as a temporary class now where you either move up or down, the punishment is much less of a menace than it's been in moons past," Tigerlily said to Vixenkismet before narrowing her gaze on Laughingsky. She prowled towards him, her hollow ice blue eyes seemed to splinter open a new look of menace with every step she took, her gaze pinned onto him. "You're the one coming off corrupt. Snowthorn was nearly beaten to death, but because your defense is that she hasn't done any previous wrong in DayClan? She is of good class standing she gets a pass? Is that the kind of pass we would give to Defiledblood when she beat Spring to near death? Don't act like this was a fair fight, Mysteryleaf knows full well she is ranked at the highest honor of strength in DayClan as a Bright Brigade member. Snowthorn never stood a chance and Mysteryleaf knew it and struck him deep anyways, she abused her power. Abuse is abuse Laughingsky, I shouldn't have to teach you that." Her voice was dangerously low, yet there was a sharpness like a blade in a dark that struck with cold precision in every angle no one expected.
Mysteryleaf had been feeling a little guilty especially after Disloyaldog had intervened, but once Tigerlily started talking she bristled.
"Don't bother Laughingsky, she's fallen in with Snowthorn, you can't tell her anything." Mysteryleaf grumbled ears flattening. The anger was dulled filled more with regret that she'd frightened Lionpaw and that Tigerlily was lost to Snowthorn. But there was nothing else for it.
"Goldenstar will make the final decision," Mysteryleaf said flatly. "I shouldn't have lashed out as I did, but you don't know who you're siding with Tigerlily. I'm sorry. And I'm sorry for frightening you Lionpaw." She added. "I hope things go well with your new family." She said before she turned and marched towards the leader's den.
She'd done something wrong fine, but she would let her punishment be handed down by the leader. She didn't think Goldenstar would be kinder in her decision, but at the very least she'd feel better knowing it wasn't handed down solely by one under Snowthorn's thrall.

"This is a real mess you guys have made." A new voice spoke up, the sun shining down on Goldenstar as she waltzed through the entrance. Long hairs caught the light, giving her an ethereal look as she quietly examined the scene. Blood covered nearly every cat there, save for the two new comers. Oh yeah, there were two. Lionpaw was bigger, and she immediately put him between herself and the group of arguing cats. The instant blood hit the ground, she buried her face into Lionpaw's mane, purring up a storm. Trying to calm them both down. She looked more Winterclan-esqe, long and plush white fur. Her name was Heavenlykit, not that anyone but Lionpaw knew that.
"We'll leave Snowthorn with Vixenkismet. Now, what happened?" Of course the one time Fairytalehunt wasn't stalking the medicine cat's den was when he would be needed. But for now, she needed answers.
Mysteryleaf let out a sigh, she straightened up. "Lionpaw, one of Sweetiepeach's kits arrived." She gestured to the tom in question. "I was going to take him to see you and introduce him to DayClan. That was when Snowthorn, who hates Sweetiepeach and her kits because of their messy break up following the birth of said kits; decided that he should become Lionpaw's guardian with Tigerlily. We argued... and I lost my temper." She meowed stiffly, digging her claws into the ground.
"I won't deny it Goldenstar, I attacked Snowthorn because he has manipulated Tigerlily as he manipulated Sweetiepeach before her. He will cause Lionpaw harm because he will seek to get revenge on Sweetiepeach through him, and I felt helpless in stopping it, so I attacked blindly." She ground out. "But, since he is a clanmate," 'Though he's a foxheart' she added under her breath. "I will accept your judgement. As I know you will be unbiased."

"I see." Goldenstar flicked a fallen leaf off of her paw as she looked over at Snowthorn again. It could have been a lot worse, but he was still in rough shape. She heard the furious cries for Mysteryleaf to become Maverick. And really, Goldenstar didn't care for this class system. It only seemed to breed more injustice rather than help anything. But even the short time they had it, Dayclan had sunk their claws and teeth into it. She had already changed so much in the clan, her stomach would turn to a knot if she did anymore.
The looks she was getting from the surrounding cats made her sigh. "I understand your concern Mysteryleaf. And you already know loosing your temper wasn't what you should have done, so I won't lecture you. But some management may help. For the time being, you'll be a Maverick, but you'll be working under Fia Cendrillon. She can help you." Even in judgement, her voice was gentle. Turning to Lionpaw and Heavenlykit, she spoke again, "but your concerns haven't fallen on deaf ears. I'll take the two under my wing until we can find appropriate caretakers for them."
Fia Cendrillon, of course, peeked over her wife's shoulders at Mysteryleaf. She'd probably been there a while, but she didn't really seem disappointed in her new daughter. "I think beating someone up to keep someone you care about safe is perfectly reasonable." She mused, though, of course, the deputy was raised by Wanderingwight, and was herself known to be quite willing to wake up and choose violence when it suited her. She shrugged, "But if it's going to mean some mother daughter bonding time, then I'll gladly take you on as my 'servant'." The she-cat patted Mysteryleaf's paw with her own. Not long before, she'd claimed Crimsonrose's kits as her own, and decided to take Mysteryleaf for herself as well. Fia Cendrillon had a tendency to claim kits, it seemed.
Her ears perked at Lionpaw & Heavenlykit needing guardians, not seeming to pay much mind to Snowthorn or Vixenkismet, since they seemed to have things covered, as the medicine cat worked in silence. "We're getting two more?" She smiled at Goldenstar.
