Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"That's too bad," Skycloud replied in response to her first comment. A flake fell softly down and landed on his nose. It dissolved immediately. "Yeah, I think they look so peaceful as they're falling," he remarked. "It's just when they pile up on the ground they become a nuisance. Let's look over there for prey." The place he indicated was a little farther away from the cottage.
Lightpaw didn't want to hunt. She wanted to hang out with Skycloud. The brown she-cat bounded through the snow that had fallen before and made her way to the direction the tom had pointed, noticing that it wasn't near the House. Silly boy must have been scared. She certainly wasn't, no way no how.

A black and white bird landed on a bare spot on the ground near a bush. It began pecking the ground as it looked for seeds that fell from the bush. Skycloud stopped and waved his tail toward the feeding bird. "Chickadees are small but tasty," he whispered in Lightpaw's ear, his muzzle brushing her cheek fur. "Wanna try for it?"

"Sure," he replied softly. He felt a thrill of excitement shoot through him all the way down his to his tail tip when he felt Lightpaw's fur against his own. Reluctantly he stepped away from the apprentice. Then calming his breathing, he tried hard to concentrate on the task at hand, catching the bird. He had to do this right! Suddenly he realized he wanted to impress Lightpaw, no that wasn't quite right, he needed to impress her.
With slow and smooth movements, the gray and white tom, slid gracefully across the snow covered ground until he came within striking range. The bird was still unaware of his presence. I'm gonna do this right! he thought as he sprang, paws outstretched. Only problem - his hind feet slipped in the snow causing him to slide uncontrollably. The chickadee took flight as the tom crashed into the bush causing a large clump of snow to cascade down upon him. "Fox dung!" he hissed.
