Goldengriffon still couldn't get over what he was witnessing and sent a silent prayer of thanks to Starclan now that the medicine cat had arrived. "Fawnheart, thank Starclan." He muttered. "I believe that this queen was attacked by the fox, which kick-started her labor and these two over here were trying to help her deliver the kits"

The queen grunted in pain as another contraction hit. No kit. The wound between her shoulder blades was still gaping but the cobwebs and slowed the bleeding. She felt numb now as her body grew tired.
Jetstar looked up relieved when Dancingdragon had brought Fawnheart, she nodded to the queen. "It is as Goldengriffon said, she's kitting, so far she's had those two." Jetstar meowed flicking her tail to the two small bundles at the queen's side. "But we're unsure how many more she could have left." She told the medicine cat.
She noted the wound was starting to bleed through the cobwebs and she turned to Dancingdragon. "Dancingdragon fetch more cobwebs." She told her trusted, since Dancingdragon had proven to be quite squeamish around the kitting queen, giving her other tasks to do was probably best.
"Alright, I'm here." Fawnheart mewed, her voice soothing as she crouched beside the unfamiliar queen. She placed her paws against the she-cat's stomach and felt around, putting slight pressure where her womb would be. "It feels to me like she has just one more but she's very exhausted." The Springclan medicine cat responded with concern in her eyes. "I need Chamomile and Windflower Shoots. I should have some stored in my den. Will someone fetch those for me, please?"
Jetstar nodded in understanding. "Goldengriffon, Dragondance, will you be able to find those herbs?" She asked her deputy and trusted as she set the kit she'd warmed closer to its mother beside the leopard spotted one.
