Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Wintrystar had been in the middle of camp when the student arrived, out of breath and with joyous news. All in the area could hear them for camp had gone dead quiet upon Brindlepaw's entrance considering the hurry she'd come in with. Some could have seen her entrance as an ill omen, that something had gone wrong while she was out hunting. Maybe the local bear had been spotted, but no,....what she brought instead was a good set of news. Frozen for a moment at the news, shocked to have received it at all in their troubled times but nonetheless she was over joyed. Their Gods were looking out for them once more. "Quickly! Quickly, we must not keep him waiting! Gather all you can, gather the kits and the Ancients!" She rushed around camp as quick as she could in her pregnant state, urging cats to move. If the Lord wanted them all, then they would go, every last one of them. The Sovereign urged kits to their mothers, father, siblings, any who could carry them if need be. Then her thoughts turned to the Ancients. Brokensight would need a guide, someone to hold the blind tom's paw through the territory. Who better than his arranged mate. "Hawthorncrown, stay beside Brokensight." It took a moment before they were all gathered, and only then did Wintrystar, out of breath herself, nod to Brindlepaw to lead the way to their Lord.

"You think he would have made this easier. Just show up here himself." Maggotpaw muttered. He was grouped together with his siblings, with Fluffykit on his shoulders. Not like an older sibling carrying their younger one, but a horse waiting for directions from its rider. There were enough kits to make carrying them all a chore, but it was what Wintrystar wanted. So he begrudgingly obeyed. Faith

"First Spirits, and now Gods. I wonder what the cats of the future will make up next." Blackthornfate was not as quiet. Didn't really care for what anyone thought of her. At this rate, she'd get stuck with someone so it was whatever. She was supposed to be one of the elite, one of the few purebloods. Maybe even more, with a leader's blood in her veins. But to the others, she just rolled around in the mud and blasphemed everything for her own amusement. A few disgruntled looks towards her only made her laugh, an old haunting laugh that raked on ears like nails on a chalkboard.
Brindlepaw was trembling, totally worn out from the trip up and down the mountain. She wasn't sure if she had it in herself to do it all again, especially now with her paws all torn up, but she had to find the strength, she couldn't miss what Lord Borealis had to say. Please, give me strength to hear your words. She prayed as she took a quite drink of water then joined the rest of the Clan as they began their ascent.
Silverfury was carrying Rosemarykit between his shoulders, she had screamed and cried about how she didn't want to spend so much time riding on one of the demons she she alone had gotten the special treatment of being carried by him. They followed near the front of the Clan.
Sinfulpaw literally had no desire to go face off with the God that literally erased her mother's mind. She thought about blatantly refusing to go to make a point, but her curiosity got the best of her and she decided to go anyway.
Kvalun wasted no time, meaning he wasted no time pushing to the front of the group. He was going to see his deity at any cost. He couldn't care less about all the cats he pushed around to get there. After what he went through with Howlingnight, he deserved to see Lord Borealis.
Soullesspaw didn't care to care Heavenlykit either. If there's one thing she could teach it was to handle herself, and walking up a mountain was a good way to learn that. She stuck to the back of the group with a small hope of being able to sneak away while the rest of the Clan was in awe at this 'god'.

Heavenlykit, meanwhile, was slowly losing ground in the group. Not that much else was to be expected, this was her first time out of camp and it was a long walk uphill. She could demand to be carried, make a big stink like Rosemarykit did. But she didn't really want to, instead focusing on trying to walk like everyone else so she didn't slip into the snow.
Once all the clan had been gathered, the journey began. It was slow, moving only as quickly as their weakest member, but not once did they need to completely halt their journey. The meeting place was nearly within sight, when a few cats began to speak up, wondering if they were going the right way. Or if the student hadn't been tricked by the light dancing off the fresh snow. But he was there. Seated at the mountain side just as Brindlepaw had said. For a moment they paused, a whole clan out in the open, moving freely among the clan and staring in awe and wonder at a mystical being before them. He was the aurora lights touching the earth, a beauty of dancing light and a soft smile to go with his natural warmth. Lord Borealis rose, spoke nothing, and began the walk up the mountain side. And for a moment, the cats of WinterClan stared on in curiosity. "Let's go. I..I believe our Lord wishes us to follow him."
Silverfury bowed his head as Lord Borealis approached him, causing Rosemarykit to loose her balance on his back and slip off. She landed on the ground with an inelegant oof, quickly scrambled to her paws, and bowed as well. She felt her father's steely silver gaze from the corner of her eye a lowered herself even more. She had a feeling she was in trouble.
When the rest of the Clan began to followed after the deity, Silverfury left her on the ground. Rosemarykit opened her mouth to complain but thought better of it and instead scampered after him.
Brindlepaw followed after the deity, her paws tingling, what were they going to witness?
Sinfulpaw did now bow her head to Lord Borealis... but she was absolutely dazzled by him. God or not he was stunning, otherworldly. But ultimately beauty meant little to her. She would never be able to believe in the same cat who rewrote her mother's personality and put the rest of her family through endless trauma and abuse. Still, Sinfulpaw followed the rest of the group, curious to see what happened, although her claws were unsheathed. Every instinct told her to try and smack some sense into Lord Borealis, but the wiser part of her knew it was absolutely a death sentence, so she held herself back...
The God lead them up the mountain a ways, stopping every once and a while to make sure they still followed. Their pace was steady and their goal not far ahead. Soon he stopped for the last time, just over the edge of a small incline, pausing at the tom. He waited long enough for them to see him disappear over the edge of it and then he was gone. When they themselves stepped over this spot, they found not their God, but a well hidden cave. It was surrounded by trees, and snow, merely a crack in the mountain side that most would miss if they didn't know it was there. WinterClan approached with caution, Wintrystar stepping inside first and then followed by all the others. The view inside was amazing. The entrance was small, a mere fissure in the wall of the mountain and yet the cavern inside was deep and spacious. It housed a small hot spring, one in which they could already feel the warmth of as they walked in. It heated the space, filled it with warmth and the small fissures in the ceiling way above allowed light into the space. It was homey and warm. There were opening in the cavern walls, ones, that once investigated, could possible work as dens. Around the hot springs was plenty of space to walk and socialize, and as she walked further, Wintrystar noted that the cavern went much deeper than it originally appeared at first glance. Walking around the small hot springs and to the back of the cavern, she found a wide open space, one that would work for prey storage and gatherings. In whole, she knew what their God had done. Turning once more to address the clan, watching as something of them entered and explored the small openings in the cavern walls, she was filled with hope.
"Cats of WinterClan! Our God ahs provided us a solution to our problems. He has lead us away from a destroyed and unsalvageable camp, to a new and better home. Here we can be truly protected from the elements of the world, safe in the next storm and all those to follow. Rejoice! For we are home!"

Flickeringflames had looked around the camp in awe. "Gods, when they really want to they know how to spoil their followers huh?" She muttered to her brother. Talonstrike rolled his eyes, gently nipping his sister's cheek.
"Try to show a little more respect, little sister." The silver somali said in a deep rumble. Flickeringflames glared half-heartedly at her brother as she rubbed her cheek. It wasn't a hard bite, rather a small nip. She was just as religious as her brother and clanmates, but she wasn't exactly the most pious of cats. "Try to be on your best behavior while I go inspect the caverns."
"Yea, yea, I will." Flickeringflames muttered, already heading towards the hot springs. The russet she-cat crouched down at the edge, purring at the warmth the water provided. Cloudywinter might like this, she thought. It might be good to soak her paws in. Flickeringflames stood back up, looking around the gathering for her mate. pao Mangledpaw had traveled with his siblings in eerie silence. The black-furred tom usually tried to find the silver lining in everything that happened to him and his siblings. It was for the good of Winterclan, he would remind himself. If they kept their heads down and did what they were told, things would be easier for them. However, after witnessing what happened to his mother... Mangledpaw was unable to say anything uplifting. His yellow eyes were narrowed and partially glazed over. It seemed as though he were moving solely on instinct, barely paying attention to anything. When the clan stopped, he stopped, staring blindly into space. He had to snap out of it before someone noticed. The apprentice gave himself a good shake, sitting down and doing what he could to tame his umanegable pelt. All he had to do was sit and wait for instructions. If Wintrystar or his father needed him, he had to be ready and quick to act.
