Her smile faded as he began to fumble over his words, her hearing growing dull as he told her about the death of her mother, she had just left Swelteringeclipse not that long ago, just spoken to her... Her eyes were tearing up as she recalled those last words and the whisper of a goodbye from her mother before she had turned and walked out of the nursery with the others, she didn't even look back, why hadn't she looked back. Pollendrones eyes lowered to the ground, the life in them seeming to dissipate the longer they stood there. "Why is everyone leaving me, I was just with her, she can't be gone." Her voice was flat as she fought to hold back the growing need to cry, her stomach heaving as she began to hiccup. She could hardly believe what he was telling her, refusing to believe her mother was dead, she wouldn't unless she saw it for her self. Her paws started to move on their own, carrying her back towards the camp they had just escaped from, brushing past Scorchedwhisker as she attempted to get back to her mothers side, her cheeks stained with tears as she could no longer hold her emotions in. Scorchedwhisker He watched the life drain out of her eyes as he broke the news to him. Scorchedwhisker watched the tears build up and fall from her brown eyes. "Pollendrone..." He muttered softly, wanting to reach out and comfort her, but not knowing if it would be wanted from him. He watched as she began moving, thinking that she'd head back towards her friend. "Pollendrone, stop...!" He hissed softly. For the first time in his life, he ignored his personal boundaries as he pressed himself against her side. He tried to stop her from moving forward, from running headfirst into the burning camp. He wrapped his tail around her, pressing his head against hers. "Don't... she's gone... she's gone, and I'm sorry..." Scorchedwhisker whispered in her ear, ignoring the pain in his throat as he pleaded with her. "We have to go... she'd... wouldn't she want you to be safe...? You and your kits...? What about Weed? She's still here? And... and your father? Siblings...? They're all still here... they aren't leaving you..." He didn't care if she pushed him away and ran to Weed. Scorchedwhisker was ready to do anything to keep her from going back into the blazing inferno Phantom
Reaching the secret tunnel, Ghostcrown released Jetfire just long enough to speak with Firetooth and his kittens. "We need to get her out of here," he puffed to the medicine cat.
"Are you coming with me?" he asked, turning to Desertpaw and Crowpaw. He didn't want to pressure them, but his eyes pleaded with them silently to come.
(sorry everyone! Thanks for those who waited for me <3)

Windchaser breathed a sigh of relief when the fiery wall fell, seeing that Autumngossamer was alive and well...and quite powerful. She nearly cheered out loud when Bloodystar attempted to escape and she sent him flying. But...something wasn't quite right. Suddenly, she caught a figure approaching being Autumngossamer. A figure that was quite familiar...suddenly, she saw it clearer. It was Bloodystar! But wait...isn't he in front of her? How could there be two? It was a trick! "Autumn! Look out!" Windchaser darted forward, kicking up dust in her wake. She raced for Autumn, her claws digging into the earth to propel her forward faster. Once she was close enough, she launched with outstretched claws, the world moving in slow motion. She felt a mixture of relief that she was able to get to Bloodystar in time thanks to her gift of speed and anger that he had crossed the line. She felt her claws meet Bloodystar's body and with every strength, body weight, and momentum she had, she used it to unbalance Bloodystar and brought him to the ground. Together, they slid a few tail lengths before they finally halted, dust flying up in a cloud.
Windchaser stood over Bloodystar, her claws digging into his flesh. "I don't care who you think you are. But nobody, and I mean nobody messes with my family and breaks my friends heart. It's over Bloodystar. You've lost everything because you don't know how to count your blessings and see everything you have. Satinlights would be disappointed in what you've done." Windchaser's green eyes were blazing with rage and her expression was hard and serious. @jadie Faith
SPIRITPAW "Don't forget about me, Ghostcrown." Spiritpaw hadn't been with the main group, but was making her way over to them when her father spoke up. He hadn't even tired to look for her. Seemed about right, "As much as I would love to stay in SunClan, I've decided that I hate Bloodystar and I'm also starving. I'm going with you."
DISCORDANTMELODY Discordantmleody was having a pretty good time playing good guy. She hadn't expected it. She sat the kit she was carrying down and nudged it toward Spiritpaw, a smile on her face, "Great, one of you can cary this kit for me. I'm the best fighter so I'll be more useful doing, uh, that."

Desertpaw Desertpaw gasped, the stick he had been using to throw mud snapped in two. Well so much for that, but it had seemed to help some. He huffed, just in time for their father to reappear carrying Jetfire. The sight of it making him sick "DAD" his tail lashed back and forth "I just don't get it" he mused angerly "First you try and kill her, and then you decide to kidnap her. Do you want her alive or dead?" he asked confused "Unless you are taking her to kill her" he added sternly narrowing his eyes Cleaver
SPIRITPAW "Shut up and take the stupid kit, Desertpaw. You can ask him all the questions you want when we're not in a camp that's literally burning down around us," The questions her brother raised were suspicious, it wasn't like she wasn't already thinking that, but Spiritpaw was beyond caring. She was so over it. Over SunClan and over family drama. She was ready to start a new page in her life and the stars were pointing her toward greener pastures. racer
Everything happened so fast, it was hard to process.
One moment, he and Desertpaw were staring down Ghostcrown, and the next all hell had broken loose. Crowpaw's breaths were ragged and anxious, unsteady which was exactly how he felt. Now, his father was demanding an answer but all he could see Jetfire, see his father's devotion to her care, and remind himself that she needed to be cared for but not them. They weren't raised that way. "Take her and get out," he spat, grimacing at Spiritpaw's words, but otherwise all his focus was on Ghostcrown.
He looked up swiftly to see his daughter there, and he broke into a wide smile. Spiritpaw was coming with him, perhaps Desertpaw as well, and his heart was lighter. Maybe he hadn't lost his family yet, maybe there was still a chance for them after all. It wouldn't be easy - he knew he had been unfair to them, he knew they might never trust him again, but this was enough for now.'
"I want her alive," Ghostcrown promised his son, fighting against a sudden wave of grief that his family ever doubted him, that his kits really thought he ever wanted her dead. It wasn't their fault, but it stung, it stung so bad, and he had to blink away tears when he realized Crowpaw wasn't going to follow them.
"I-I'm sorry I wasn't a good father to you, but I really do want you to be happy, even if that means you stay in SunClan." His voice was thick as he forced the words out. This was the moment when he shared some sage fatherly advice, but he had nothing to say. "I'll miss you, and- I'll see you around, okay?"
The High Priest was about to land a killing blow on the former Soothsayer but was stopped before he had the chance to strike. Bloodystar, the real Bloodystar, had not realized that he had dropped his invisibility. It seemed that he was so excited to have finally gotten the upper hand on Autumngossamer that he had faltered in his control of the amulet. Thus, Windchaser blind-sided him. He lost his focus entirely; the false Bloodystar that Autumngossamer was pinning down disappeared much the same way that his flames had earlier, and the amulet he had given her earlier faded into nothing but an unusually round rock.
“STAY OUT OF THIS!” He howled, lashing out without any real target, his rage so maddening that he was nearly blinded. He didn’t feel any pain. His mind and body was numb to it in the moment, “YOU ARE RUINING EVERYTHING!” Bloodystar was a strong tom but he wasn’t the fighter that Windchaser was, he couldn’t break her grasp. In fact, he couldn’t focus long enough to trick her with the amulet, especially now that she knew the secret. Cats that were expecting the illusions could outsmart them more easily, “Let me go! LET ME GO! I have to kill Autumngossamer! I have to save Jetfire! I can’t be beat now, not by a cat like you!”
The flames were growing more and more intense. Bloodystar could feel the heat radiating off them from where he was now, it was only a matter of them before where they were right now was totally engulfed in the lightning-spurred inferno.
"You will never hurt another soul again, Bloodystar. It's over. Leave and never show your face here again." She growled, releasing her grip on the leader and turning to escape the fire. "Let's go, Autumn. We've got to get out of here." @jadie Faith
Autumngossamer's head swerved in Windchaser's direction. Time slowing as the creeping realization of the real Bloodystar standing behind her took hold of her heart. His claws reached back, a still moment in time before the blow hit, but the realization of death burned through her veins in dreaded agony. Her mind glitched. Time moved millisecond by millisecond, in one moment she saw the Bloodystar she knew, the confusion hitting her on how anything could end this way. The next moment she saw the madness in his eyes, a look that was all monster moving the haunting realization of what was to come faster and faster. Trying to move out of the way wasn't an option, he was close enough now where she could feel his breath, but when the claws neared her neck the pain never came. A flash of orange took over her vision. Her breath stuck in her throat as Windchaser nailed Bloodystar to the floor with her claws.
Her heart seized up as the tom she grew up beside thrashed and screamed for her death. He really would have killed her. Everyone she ever knew in SunClan. Her heart lost a few beats. All you will know is betrayal. Tears streaked across her face, but she dried them, fighting back against her quickening heart as anxiety grasped every fiber of logical reasoning. She wasn't betrayed. Bloodystar had betrayed her a long time ago when he chose to ignore her abuse in favor of worshiping the Sun God. Windchaser was loyal to her even when they fought constantly.
"Okay," Autumngossamer said to Windchaser coming up towards her. Home felt good right about now so long as she made sure Nightmarepaw and Angelicpaw were safe.
The voice felt sudden and familiar as it echoed in Bravepaw's head. His father had come up beside him, simply stating his name as a note to himself that he had found Bravepaw, which meant everyone was there. Soaringpaw was already waiting by the entrance. "Let's get out of here," Duskslayer said, worry flaring in time with the approaching flames. He placed his paw over Lights, giving her a reassuring lick, he was certain that Faithpaw was safer wherever Flamingstar took her than here, which meant focusing on his family who was with him, in danger of the flames.
Angelicpaw backed up against a wall as the flames spread out quicker than water. Her flank bumping into her sister as she jumped in surprise, "Nightmarepaw," She said in relief, but the feeling of joy didn't last long as she realized the flames that surrounded them. Her blue gaze searched for a way out and brightened at the sight of a thin, but long stone rising just above the flames. If they could climb to the top of it and leap off they will have essentially used as a step stool to get up and over the fire! Although the rock did look wobbly, it would be easy for one of them to accidentally knock it down.
Nightmarepaw Nightmarepaw felt her sister touch her flank and she relaxed but that moment of relief didn't last long. The flames were closing in and they had to think fast. She followed Angelicpaw's gaze to the rock that looked precarious but it was their only shot. "We've got to" she mewed, sharing her sister's thoughts. As she moved to be the first to try the rock in case it gave way under her weight, a figure appeared on the rock, blocking their path.
Flamingstar Flamingstar was fleeing the fire when she noticed her two daughters trapped within the flames. She leaped up on the rock, blocking their only way out. The rock wobbled under her weight but held up. Flames and smoke swirled around her, the orange and red inferno reflecting in her turquoise eyes, the glow of the flames setting her fur ablaze with a fiery aurora. She looked majestic but also looking as if she were the goddess of hell.
Nightmarepaw "Hey! Please! Help us! We're trapped!" Nightmarepaw cried out, her eyes pleading for Flamingstar to help but the Nightclan leader's gaze was hostile and threatening.
Flamingstar "I should have killed you when you were young and helpless." Flamingstar responded, noting the alarming confusion in Nightmarepaw's expression. "You really haven't figured it out?"
Nightmarepaw Suddenly, Nightmarepaw had a flashback of fiery ginger fur and the scent of milk wreathed around her. The vision faded almost as quickly as it came and Nightmarepaw took a good look at Flamingstar's fur. Suddenly, a lump formed her her throat and she lost her breath. She finally realized who she was. "Y-your-"
Flamingstar "Your mother." She growled. "I should say, your smarter than I had anticipated." The comment stung Nightmarepaw and she winced.
Angelicpaw sprang after Nightmarepaw, but bumped into her when she stopped. Staring down at them was a she-cat made of fire from her gingery fiery coat blending with the flying embers. She looked mythical and deadly all at once. "Yeah please help us!" Angelicpaw chimed in, but her voice was less certain, something felt wrong. When she was thrown into this cat she gave her such a look. It only lasted for a split moment that she had completely dismissed it, but seeing her again she felt more certain that the exchange had more meaning than she knew.
"I should have killed you when you were young and helpless."
"Wh-What?" Angelicpaw rubbed her eyes in disbelief, her paws pressing harder on the sockets, repressing the memories, but they shot into her mind one by one. The day they were abandoned. She was too young to put the pieces together then, but as the memories came back it became clearer that was what happened. Pushing her paw away she stopped, staring at it before her eyes moved to Flamingstar, they looked so much alike. Her eyes teared up as she looked around herself among the flames, "Please mom, save us, I'm sorry for whatever we did," She was just about willing to say anything to save her sister and herself. But even begging she knew what Flamingstar wanted to do, she just didn't have the courage to admit it to herself on what was going to happen.
"Oh, dear. Don't be sorry. It's not anything you have done...it's what you will do." She responded, narrowing her eyes. "I can't have a pair of Elementals running loose throughout the forest. Your demons, abominations, and a danger to the forest!"
Nightmarepaw
"Wait...a pair of Elementals? You mean...Angelicpaw is an elemental too?" Nightmarepaw stared at her sister, her bright blue eyes widening. "You never told me!"
"No I-I didn't know," Angelicpaw stuttered. Between the growing heat and truth of her past her world was literally spiraling. Hesitantly she took a step back from her sister, "I didn't know that you were an elemental either, I just knew we were cursed," She said in defense, a piece of news she hadn't yet shared with her sister. Her mother hated them so much she left them for dead, she was a cursed elemental, and worse, she was realizing just how distant Nightmarepaw and her had become. They talked, but they never shared. Her already gentle voice turned quiet, "We'll be good, we promise, please, I don't want us to die," She said, hopping up onto the rock, not that she had much choice. The scorching heat from the flames was going to burn her tail right off if she didn't start moving.
The all black she-cat went to say that her sister never told her that they were cursed but that was obvious. She stiffened when her sister leaped up on the rock face to face with Flamingstar.
Flamingstar
"Don't take it personal. Surely you'll understand that there is only one way to ensure you won't cause any problems in the future." Flamingstar replied before she launched off the rock onto the other side of the flames, away from her daughters. As she launched, she purposely kicked harder than she needed to unbalance the rock Angelicpaw was standing on. The rock slipped off it's perch and came crash down into the flames.
Nightmarepaw
"Angelicpaw! No!" She cried as she watched her sister drop toward the flames with the rock.

Paintedcanyon The long furred tom had lost sight of his apprentice somehow. Paintedcanyon wasn't sure what had happened. One moment he was guarding Desertpaw and the other apprentices as they launched muddy stones at the invaders. But after the fire had broken out he turned to grab Desertpaw only to find that he was nowhere to be seen. Though the ginger tom knew Desertpaw could take care of himself, but the warrior couldn't help the fear that coursed through him. The heat that radiated from the fire was only made worse by his long pelt. Paintedcanyon's movements quickly became sluggish as he ran through the camp, searching for any sign of Desertpaw among the mass of bodies that were heading towards the exit. When he find him by that High Priests den, Paintedcanyon made a beeline for him. "Desertpaw!" He panted, quickly grabbing the apprentice's face in his paws and making sure he was fine. "Thank god..." He sighed. "We need to leave. Now!" racer

Desertpaw Desertpaw looked at his father with a huff "I'm not carrying a kit, they are stinky and squirm to much" he protest, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws as his mentor approached. The tom had been kind to him, and clearly wasn't bothered by Paintedcanyon joining them "Dad's leaving with her" he replied pointing to the limp Jetfire that he was carrying "I told him I don't get it, but he wants us to come with him" he mused, tilting his head to the side as if contemplating what to eat out of the fresh kill pile rather than "Dad won't tell us whats going on" he pouted "And I wanna know. So I guess I'm going to" CleaverNova
"No," She whispered right before her world fell apart from underneath her. Angelicpaw plummeted, the massive stone striking the ground first right in time for her to smash her bones into the rock. The stone had been been heated against the flames for a while now leaving the surface scorching hot beneath her face. Angelicpaw screamed immediately tearing her face away, she was cooking in the flames that surrounded her from all sides. Her mother had turned her into prey as she shrieked a cry that sounded nothing close to a person, but more like an injured animal. Her leg was trapped underneath from another rock that had fallen. She screamed more as she tried to stretch over to remove the heavy rock, but she couldn't without firm stability. Panic hit her realizing she would have to lie back and use her force from her only free leg to kick it off. Whimpering she lied her head back down onto the stone as she began to kick at the rock trapping her leg. Half of her body was burning off as she desperately kicked for the rock to release her. To Flamingstar it would certainly sound like she would be dead in a matter of minutes.
DAYCLAN - SUNCLAN CAMP
Autumngossamer's ears perked up at the shrieks somewhere deep in the flames. "I have to go," She said, pushing every raw emotion aside she ran towards the screaming of her daughter.
