Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. She hadn't intended to use their urgent signal so soon, but things had changed. Faster. Faster than she could have imagined. As usual, she did her best to avoid the morning prayers, and this time actually got away with it. While he attended those, she slipped a withering rose into his nest. How he found living ones, she would never know. At this point, she might as well have been an elemental with the power kill plants. She grabbed a piece of prey from the pile and slipped out of the camp. She headed straight for the burial grounds. The irony of telling him the news at a burial ground didn't escape her, but they agreed to meet her. Maybe she could name one Sunflowerkit or something.
She sat down and waited for what seemed like hours. As soon as she saw his white fur she rushed forward and touched her nose to his. "Hey! I have some good and bad news."

Romancefable attended the morning prayers as normal, it was expected of all SunClan cats and he was rather surprised to not see Azura among them... As soon as it was over, he returned to the warrior's den and found the brittle rose on his nest. His heart sank, immediately assuming the worse as he raced out of camp without a word to anyone. His paws pounded against the ground, worry eating away at him until she came into view finally nearly running straight into, barely missing. His sides heaved, looking up at her with a sheepish smile "Sorry I'm late" he mewed between breaths trying to stop the searing in his lungs from the run "What is it?"
"Well... it's kind of both good and bad news..." She pulled away from him and took a few steps back. "I'm..." She stopped. She still hadn't wrapped her head around it completely. "I'm pregnant. With your kits. Ughh!" She lashed her tail and paced around. "Not that I'm seeing anyone else. You're the best thing that's happened to me since this whole thing started." Azura abruptly sat down. "I'm sorry. I'm not making any sense. But I'm pregnant." She moved her paws to the side so he could see her belly. She could see a small bulge already, but it was nothing obvious yet. "So, yeah..."

Romancefable looked up from his panting, as Azura took a few steps back his golden gaze taking in the sight of her as he tried to figure out what was going on and what had her all giddy. She was normally so serious. His brow creased, as he tried to put the pieces together. As the word pregnant, stumbled from her lips his jaw dropped, forgetting to breathe as she moved so that he could see the small budge in her tummy. Suddenly his lips turned upwards, his eyes lighting up as he took in the sight "THIS IS THE BEST NEWS!!!" his paws scrambled at the ground getting him no closer, as he tried to run to her. Each step he took his vision blurring and growing dark, loosing consciousness as he fainted falling forward and tumbling over himself and landing on his back with his eyes closed. It didn't last long though, and a moment later her jolted upwards "PREGNANT! AZURA YOU ARE PREGNANT!"
She knew how lucky she was to have him in that moment. Any tom she chose would have been happy with this news, but he literally fainted. Like, passed out on the ground, unconscious after he tried to run forward. His body just couldn't keep up with his brain. It made her laugh a little bit, despite the dire consequences of the pregnancy itself. She leaned over the tom to see if he was okay, and then those bright golden eyes shot open again. Azura staggered back as the tom jolted upwards, and again could help herself from laughing. "Hey, just calm down. Let's just breathe, okay?" She took a deep breath in and out. "Okay. Is it out of your system?"

(Hahah good XD) Romancefable was over the moon with excitement, his smile so bright and wide that it looked like his face might crack. His eyes staring into her a with complete amazement and wonder, his paws drifting to he tummy as he nuzzled up against her neck and drew her into a warm embrace. Giggly like a giddy kit who had just been given the best present that far exceeded their expectations “Almost” without giving her a chance to refuse, he put both of his paws onto her cheeks and pulled her to him for a kiss. He took his time, just enjoying the moment pouring all his feelings into this moment letting his actions say all the thoughts overwhelming his mind. After a few moments he slowly pulled back “ok...now it’s out of my system”
She raised a brow at that smile. She had never seen him like this. For a moment, she thought he had out of his system. She opened her mouth to say something as his paws drifted down to her stomach. She tensed up, and pulled back a little bit as his nuzzled against her neck before leaning into his embrace. She needed it. She had been thinking about what to do for too long on her own. Having him around would help. Almost. She took that as a yes. "We--- mmmmhmmm!" As she tried to say something his paws landed on her cheeks. And then he kissed her. She was completely unprepared for it, but oddly welcomed it. They had to enjoy this. The next few weeks would be tough. She put her paw on his shoulder as her pulled away. "I learned about it a day or two again, and I've just been processing it because... they can't grow up here."

Normally Romancefable would have argued on that point... but what SunClan had turned into recently wasn't the same Clan he had grown up in. What Bloodystar had turned their clan into... He couldn't imagine one of his kits being put into a situation anything like what was going one. Here no one was safe, and his heart he knew she was right. This wasn't what he wanted to bring his children into "Then they won't" it was a simple answer, but it was clear that he was going to support her through this in any way that he could "Does Bloodystar know? About the kits I mean"
She sighed and nodded. "Unfortunately, he does. I thought I ate some bad prey, so I went to him. Well, he wasn't there, so I rummaged through his herbs and he showed up. We argued for a bit, and yeah. He told me I was pregnant. And... I may or may not have told him off." She smiled weakly. Going off on the High Priest probably wasn't the smartest move in the book, but it just happened. She avoided him for long enough that her emotions just boiled over. "We should stay clear of him. I was thinking of maybe setting up a nest outside of the camp? You know, slowly disappear from camp life."

Romancefable shook his head "No, we should do the opposite..." he paused, trying to explain what he meant before she reacted to badly "If you try pulling away and sleep out of camp, Bloodystar is going to notice. Since he knows your pregnant he is going to be watching us carefully and could take that as a sign that you are trying to leave. We wouldn't stand a chance of getting out of her. Instead we should make your pregnancy a big deal, proudly announce it to the clan. The more attention the better, let him think that he has won you over. Bloodystar is self-obsessed, he likes to win...So let him think he has won, and as soon as he takes his eyes off of us we will be gone"
She shook her head. "I- I don't think that will work." She shuffled her paws and sniffled. "I trained him when he was an apprentice in secret. We bonded and stuff. It wasn't too bad. When he because Priest Promised, we stopped. I would've never seen him again, but," She shivered and lay down. "That rogue carved me up on the border. I-" She turned away from the tom. "I was ready to die. I wanted to die. But he brought me here, and I was mad that he didn't let me die. I made sure he knew that. I made sure that he knew that I didn't like it here. And there's no way he'll forget what I told a few days ago." She buried her nose into the soil. "I bet he noticed that I wasn't at the morning prayers..."

He blinked taking in her words considering them carefully. She had a point, then it left very few options "Then we should go now, while no one is out looking for us" ha paused, knowing that this would mean he wouldn't get a chance to say his goodbyes. It did make him sad, but the safety of his family came first and foremost "If we get caught..." he smiled mischievously "We have a pretty good excuse to make them look the other way" he pulled her in close to his embrace "We'll say that that I have a surprise for you, after all your my pregnant mate and Its all that unusual for me to go over the top with my surprises" he purred "Actually... I had something planned for today near the border for later, before I saw your rose" he stopped nosing her cheek gently "If we get stopped I will take you there instead until we aren't being followed"
Thoughts raced through her head. There were a million ways this could go wrong and they'd end up back here. They had no time to prep or make plans. Ideally, Azura wanted Glowstar there with her when they left. She loved him, but Romancefable was no fighter, and there was only so much she was will to risk now. Yet she knew that their hand was forced. They had to leave now. They had an opportunity. "Okay... let's do this. Let's leave this place behind." She slow rose to her paws and then shook out her fur. "You know, with these kits slowing me down you might be able to keep up with me. Speaking of that, where are we going on our 'date'?"

"Mmm.. Your just going to have to trust me" he replied with a big grin, there was no reason they couldn't enjoy themselves. After all it was supposed to look real "otherwise it wouldn't be much of a surprise, now would it?" he intertwined his tail with hers leaning in to whisper It in her ear softly "I think you are going to enjoy this one" he lead her out of the Sun Flower fields walking so close that he looked more like a burr attached to her side than a cat
A Romancefable surprise? She was excited but also mortified. If this was some elaborate gesture, she didn't know what she'd do. She hoped that he knew not to try those again, but this was Romancefable. The grand was his thing. She rolled her eyes. "Trust you? Why would I ever do that." She nudged him with her shoulder. "You know, if you somehow found a rose that isn't dead then we're gonna have to have a talk. How do you do it?"

He hadn't meant to eavesdrop on the conversation. It was meant for their ears only, but Silverdragon was drawn to the conversation. But now, he had to get involved. The smokey gray tomcat couldn't let them leave. If they left, there was no doubt in his mind that Bloodystar would make an example of them as he was prone to do. His turquoise eyes flashed as he slowly began to follow them, keeping to the shadows so that he wouldn't be spotted by the pair. He watched them silently as they made their way towards the sunflower fields, tails entwined tightly with one another. Silverdragon let out a silent breath. "Romancefable. Azura." He said, his voice soft but stern as he addressed them. He straightened himself up as he moved towards them being mindful of the space between them. "I'm afraid I can't let you two go any further on this... date." He said, emphasizing the word that Azura had used before.

Romancefable stared wide eyed, looking between Silverdragon shocked that someone had already found them. But the idea was already spinning in his mind, he leaned over giving her a big kiss on the cheek "Let me handle this my dear, we will be on our way soon enough" he sauntered over to the tom his hips swaying back and forth as he did so, dropping his voice quietly so that Azura wouldn't be able to over hear "What's the big deal dude?" he looked rather annoyed, his tail lashing from side to the other "Look, I'm kind of on a time crunch here, help a guy out" he glanced back at his mate "We have plans tonight, and If I stand here jabbing with you its going to ruin the surprise" he looked back raising his voice for Azura "Won't be much longer" he mewed sweetly before turning back to Silverdragon "Look I just took a bunch of fertility herbs while we were at the ceremony springs when she wasn't looking, I have this whole big date thing set up for the two of us, and if we don't get a move on..." he stopped himself from completing his sentence "Look if not for me, step aside for her. I put a lot of effort into this, and she has been through so much. Let us have our night"

Silverdragon watched as Romancefable sauntered over to him. His turquoise eyes remained emotionless, aside from the quirk of his brow as he kept his eye on the tom. The dark-furred tom stared at him, listening as he spoke. Fertility herbs? Without moving so much as a whisker, Silverdragon took a quick breath whenever Romancefable spoke. Fertility herbs had a specific smell. The aromatic mix had a tangible smell. Sweet, but overpowering due to all the herbs in the mixture. None of which was apparent on the tom's breath. "And yet," Silverdragon said, glancing down at Romancefable. "Your breath remains clean. How can one's breath remain so clean, so... bland, after taking fertility herbs? Everyone knows how powerful the aroma is of the mixture you speak of. Tell me... if you had taken it so recently, then why is it that I cannot smell it on you?"

"sssshhhh" he replied, his front paws lifting up to shush the tom in front of him "Everything it alright, I'll be right with you" he purred loudly before leaning in "You mouse-brain, I don't want HER to know about that, its part of the surprise" he looked rather upset "If you ruin this for me I'm not going to be happy" he leaned in breathing right on the other tom's nose "Smell that? It's mint, Bloodystar gave it to me when I told him my plan so that she wouldn't smell it. She has a nose like a hawk though so if you keeping running your mouth she is going to figure it out" his paws dropped to the ground "Look, we need to get moving. If you don't believe me then follow us for all I care, just don't let her know you are doing so. For your sake I hope your sneaky, she not your average SunClan cat and if she catches you peeping in on our date she'll gut you" he paused a smile sneaking onto his face "But me, well I don't mind so much" with that he flicked the warriors nose with his paw before rejoining her mate and drawing her into a deep kiss and pulling her close. Finally he backed up letting her get some air "Sorry about that my love, lets get going"
Her blood chilled at the sound of Silverdragon's voice behind them, and Romancefable could have felt her tense up. She had her own retort ready, but was pleasantly surprised when Romancefable took charge of the situation and when to talk to the tom. She gave him a smile as he left, and made sure to keep an eye on them. She couldn't quite hear the entire conversation, but she did pick out words like 'breath', 'clean', and 'mint'. She had never considered taking fertility herbs herself, so she remained blissfully ignorant of their potency. Maybe Romancefable was going to season their meal with mint or something? She didn't care. She just wanted out. "Hey, I thought we were on a date, not you and him. Let's go!" Her tail lashed impatiently as he came back, and, as usual, was completely unprepared for his kiss. "Finally. Lead the way."
