Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She nodded. "I mean, I can't leave either. Dottymask said that if me or any of my siblings left, WinterClan would burn the forest to the ground to find us." They were demons, and WinterClan was their cage. It was as simple as that. As much as she wanted to leave, breaking out of her cage would not help her reality. "But I would like something to eat... like that rabbit from yesterday?"

"I'll do you one better." Jiltedlynx said as she ushered the kit through the camp entrance into the waiting forest. When they had walked a good distance from the camp she lowered her tail and stopped behind a large juniper bush. "Wait here. You can watch but stay silent and hidden." She said as she disappeared into the undergrowth.
I'll do you one better. How could she do her one better? All she wanted was a rabbit. The kitten nodded and dipped behind the juniper bush. "Okay... where are you going?"

There was no answer as she disappeared. And after she did so it became deathly silent. The wind brushed through the changing leaves and the forest seemed to sit still. Beyond the juniper bush in a small clearing a large mouse scurried out to catch his own food. He had no idea that just behind him lurked Jiltedlynx and before he could utter any noise at all the she-cat leapt gracefully from the undergrowth and sunk her teeth into the prey and giving it a firm snap with her powerful jaws. Laying the prey down at her paws she called out. "You can come out now." Freshly killed prey. Still warm. It was definitely better.
She could hardly breath. The kitten did not want to break the silence that settled on the forest the moment Jiltedlinx left. The leaves rustled on the forest floor as they tumbled by the she-cat, and her eyes settled on the fat brown mouse as it scurried from its haven underneath the juniper bush. Her mouth watered at the sight of the small creature as she focused on it. She hardly noticed the warrior pounce from behind it until it was in her jaws. She pulled herself from her bush and scampered over to Jiltedlinx. "Wow... that looked fun!"

"It is fun." Jiltedlynx said with a smile. "Eat this up and if you want I can show you a few pointers." She said as she laid down and licked at the fur of her chest, picking put a small leaf from the snowy white long coat.
Jiltedlinx didn't have to tell her twice. She nodded and dug into the mouse with a fervor one would expect from the first catch of the spring, not when prey was still somewhat plentiful. It took no time for the kitten to eat up the entirety of the small creature. It was the first good meal she'd had in moons, so sharing it didn't even occur to her until she finished it. "Oh, I'm sorry! I should have saved some for you!"

Jiltedlynx smiled. "I already ate. That was all yours. You need your strength." She gazed around them at the quiet forest that had since come back to life since she had returned to the open. Birds were singing nearby and she could feel the tiny vibrations of distant creatures on the forest floor through her paws. She looked back at Soulesskit. "Now. Tell me, what is it that you want from this life? You can't just let others destroy you. I won't allow it anyway-" she lifted her chin in a haughty way that somehow still made her beauty shine.
She smiled and turned her attention back to the rabbit. It was finished, but she took the time to strip the bones of any meat they had left. Her teeth clicked together as she went up and down each leg bone, leaving nothing behind. Soullesskit looked up to see the cold sun light up the she-cat's form. Really, she was quite beautiful. "I want to not be treating like crowfood. That much at least." She rose to seated position. "Thanks, but you can't stop it. Wintrystar wants this for me, The Knights want this, and my foster mother and father enjoy it. There isn't much you can do."
