Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"It's not a problem," smiled the queen, looking at Cradlegrave with a little smile. "You couldn't have known. I'm sorry to hear about your family, too."
ooc; hey biyuu do u wanna time jump to after the proposal?
sure o3o do you think that some time in between where we left off and the proposal thread, cradlegrave would've met nib? xD
A few days after SwiftClan's Great Proposalgeddon, Cradlegrave was sitting down outside their current camp's nursery as the sun rose. He'd never been able to train himself out of his wake-up-early-and-sleep-late schedule he'd grown up with, so he'd taken to waiting for Brownie to wake up and checking in with her before he began his duties for the day. He supposed there wasn't any real reason he couldn't just go into the nursery and meet her there, but he felt a little like a bull in a china shop around all the kits, and he was afraid he would accidentally step on one's tail and wake everybody in the whole Clan up in the process.
Still, there was no harm in taking a peek, right? He poked his head in, his gaze searching around the den before finally resting on Brownie. Good. Still there. Still alive, he thought, and immediately cursed. Stop thinkin' like that, Cradlegrave. She ain't gonna disappear on you now.
cradlegrave is me checking that all the money in my bank account didn't suddenly disappear overnight
Brownie woke up at the sound of rustling outside the nursery. Instantly, she was on high alert. After SunClan's invasion, her fear of losing another kit was very high. After a moment of fast breathing, she scented the familiarity of her mate. And oh wasn't that strange to say! Happily and at ease again, she slipped away from Nib for the first time ever and slunk to the entrance.
"Cradlegrave?" she whispered, a sleepy smile on her face. "What are you doing here?"
(ooc; im laughing. Also, idk let me tag her roleplayer neverstarstar)

(ooc; hiiii, they can meet now/in a different thread or we can do some interaction with all of them where we just say they've met. i'm good with anything c:)
(mfw its my turn to reply OH GOD THE PRESSURE let's just say they've met, but like, not a lot? xD so its the best of both worlds lol)
Cradlegrave shrugged, unwilling to admit his paranoia. "Woke up early," he opted for instead. "Force of habit. Decided I would use the spare time wisely and wait for you." He peered back inside the nursery, eyeing Nib's sleeping form. "How's the child?"
'How's the child?' You're losing it, Cradlegrave. He may have been able to fix his social skills enough to score a mate, but he'd still never gotten the hang of kits.
The corners of Cradlegrave's mouth turned upwards slightly. "Wouldn't want that," he said. "Seems hard to get quality sleep in the nursery, what with everyone comin' and goin' all the time. But I guess you two won't be stayin' in there much longer, huh?"
She winced. "Guess not," was all the queen replied with, eyes darkening for a moment. Brownie hated the idea of not being around Nib constantly. It was time for her kit to leave the nursery, but the idea killed her. neverstarstar
Cradlegrave noticed the look in his mate's eyes and moved in a little closer. "The trainin' will be good for Nib, I think," he said quietly. "Wouldn't it put your mind more at ease, knowin' she's learnin' how to defend herself?"
"Perhaps," replied Brownie, voice betraying the utter lie that that word really was. She changed the subject, flicking one ear in distaste and focusing on her mate instead. "How have you been? Caught anything good lately?"
