Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Only moments after Snakefang (pLuto) and Thunderpurr (strawberrycupid) were announced as a couple they were forcibly herded into a small cozy den before being sealed inside with some large rocks. They were each told that they would be confined in the den for twenty-four hours together before their wedding would take place the following night. Within the cozy den were an assortment of flowers and herbs strung about the den. The scent was strong, thick with the aroma of lavender and vanilla. Both scents meant to be soothing agents to force a calm relaxing vibe. Off to the left side were an assortment of foliage, freshly cut flowers and other decorations meant for the couple to decorate one another with for their upcoming wedding. The more extravagant and detailed the couple would accessorize themselves with, the more it symbolized a happy marriage. They could not dress themselves up, only each other.
This is the time for the couple to exchange pleasantries, get to know one another, and plan their futures together."
(if you would like a wedding thread later on, please message me or one of the staff, thank you.)

It was never gonna be a happy marriage, especially not with Thunderpurr. She really could not care less for marriage, or for Snakefang. Immediately she ignored the rules and began weaving the flowers and stuff into her own fur. "Look, call me what you will. But I get the impression that this isn't your thing. And that's great cause I don't want this either. So we can go call this thing off, or just wait till after Wintrystar gets tired of us not having kits and divorces us. And I don't want kits. Unless you wanna stay undercover married so you can go get with someone else. I don't care either way." Little lavender petals stuck to her paws, only sometimes glancing back at Snakefang to see if he would say anything.
"I'm glad the feeling is mutual," he responded nonchalantly as he picked through the assortment of flowers and herbs. He didn't have anything more to say to her. This was a terrible arrangement. Wintrystar knew good and well he was meant for another but, due to certain circumstances, their union couldn't happen. The whole marriage deal rubbed him the wrong way. But, for now, that was okay; he could wait for her to be free again.
He wasn't feeling particularly inspired by anything in front of him; he wasn't exactly the type for arts and crafts. He didn't keep anything colorful on him besides the friendship bracelet Snowbunny made for him some time ago. It just wasn't his style, but he was sure Wintrystar expected something to show for his and Thunderpurr's mandatory "fun" together. He sighed and began sifting through the flowers, looking for blue colors and separating them from the rest.

"I wonder what her gain is?" Thunderpurr asked herself more than Snakefang, twisting another flower into her fur before facing him, laughing under her breath as he seemed to scan the things in front of him. "Here, let me help." The grey she-cat purred as she picked up a few violets and slowly wove them into his fur along his chest. "The nice thing about neutral fur like yours is that anything really goes with it. But purples and blues will really make your green eyes pop out. We wanna be convincing to Wintrystar and her army of pure bloods after all." Thunder herself was only a quarter winter, enough to get in but also not enough to keep her from getting weird looks. "Hmm, maybe she's trying to use me to keep you away from the girl in the prison..."
He stared at her for a moment as she wove the flowers into his fur. "I suppose you're right about that." Admittedly, he felt a bit embarrassed by the whole thing. He could feel his pelt burn from her words. But something she said broke him out of that feeling. She knows about Bluejay? Did Wintrystar tell everyone in the clan their relationship. From what he knew, he did everything he could to not make it obvious that they were involved with one another. "How do you know about that," he asked.

(sorry bout that)
A small smile brushed itself along her face as she affixed another flower to his pelt, yellow eyes shifting up to catch his gaze for a moment. A purr rumbled in her chest, that smile becoming more coy. "Let your pelt relax. The flowers will hurt more if you get upset." She let her tail brush over his side, "But I'm guessing by your reaction, I hit the bullseye, huh? Call it intuition, or that I've taken most of my guard shifts from you since she joined and got a little curious. Whichever is easier. But relax, dear. The last cat I'll snitch you out to is Wintrystar."
He hadn't really noticed but now that she mentioned it, the flowers did give him a slight sting in his side. Taking her advice, he relaxed but he was still skeptical of her. That was very interesting, but he was curious as to why that caught her attention. "I sure hope that's the case, but i'm sure that Wintrystar knows about our relationship," he responded as he looked over the flowers Thunderpurr laced into his fur. Unfortunately, he couldnt do anything about that. But there was one thing he was curious about; it had been some time since he had last seen her. "How is Bluejay doing?" he asked

It was fine to be skeptical. Thunderpurr was well aware that trust was earned, not expected. She finished up, satisfied enough with her job. She didn't put a lot into either of their pelts, so at least if Bluejay is released, she could cover him in stuff when they got married. Or at least the warrior could hope. Why exactly she was helping Snakefang was a mystery, but she kept that to herself as she groomed a few parts of her own coat down. "As well as she can in there. Managed to sneak her a mouse so she seemed to appreciate that. Asking about her kits and the like. She didn't mention you, so she's keeping that secret too."
"As she should," he said plainly. "But you have my gratitude for treating her the way you have." He looked around their den for something to occupy himself with but nothing really stood out. Sighing, he said, "I don't suppose you have any ideas as to what we are supposed to do for the remainder of our time; I'm no good at holding a conversation."

"You're welcome. Windyhurricane, my father, brought us here from Summerclan. So as another, quote on quote, halfblood, we have to support each other." Thunderpurr meant that truly, completely. So far, she had only talked down a few of the more aggressive ones that were bashing her siblings. In a way, this marriage forced her to look at the rest of the ones like her stuck here. When she normally didn't care. And now suddenly having an acquaintanceship with Snakefang opened her eyes just a little.
Not that her expression changed much, a quiet and content one as she messed with the floor below them. "Could never have guessed, dear. Well, let me ask you the questions this time. Did you grow up here?"
Snakefang nodded. "Yes. I was born here, but due to a series of unfortunate events, my parents passed before I could fully remember them." If he was being honest with himself, he didn't feel sad for having not know them. He didn't really feel much emotion in general except towards the things he cares strongly for. "You say you came from SummerClan...what made your father want to move here? You could have went anywhere with better weather, like SpringClan or FallClan."

Wasn't she the one who was supposed to be asking the questions? Well, she didn't tend to feel particularly strong about things either. So other than a small pout, she didn't question it. "I see." was all she said. Comforting people wasn't her thing, and it didn't look like Snakefang cared one way or the other, so why should she? "Ah, most of my siblings are long haired. Summerclan is nice, but the heat was killing us. So he brought us up here, not that I think he predicted... this."
He tilted his head from side to side. "I suppose that makes sense," he said before he went silent again. "Oh, did you have any other questions you wanted ask?" He didn't mind being interrogated. If anything, it was a way to pass to the time.

He was not kidding when he said he wasn't good at holding a conversation. Thunderpurr held back a laugh. "I guess. I feel we should have tried Fallclan first. But eh, dad does what dad wants. I'm hoping not everyone here is as much of a stiff as Wintrystar. I wanna have some fun too." She purred, tapping her claws against the ground as she thought. "Let's see... Ooh, you know this place like the back of your paw, right? What should I see? Like, if I meet someone and I wanna go somewhere nice with them. Where is that?"
He let out a light chuckle to himself He couldn't help but think that comment about being stiff implicitly included him as well. But her next question surprised him a bit. He was the last person to ask about anything of that nature. He shrugged. "I guess so, yeah, but give me a second." He didn't leave camp much besides to go on patrols but and the occasional adventure outside of WinterClan territory, but other than that, he didn't know of anywhere "nice". But then he thought back to the time where he first met Bluejay and it brought a smile to his face. "Ah, I know of a place - the underground caverns near WinterClan's old camp. They have these carvings in the ice from past generations; I guess you could call it a kind of art gallery. I mean you could try that," he suggested.

"OOoh nice. Gotta find someone with an eye for art, but I'll give it a try." Granted, Thunderpurr had no idea where Winterclan's old camp was. But she guessed she would find it sooner or later. It'd take a while for her to get a date anyway. But one day. "Good memories of the place, huh?" She purred.
He nodded. "You could say that. Its where Bluejay and I had our first date." The blind dating event between Winter and Day was a blessing in disguise. It was honestly a turning point for the tom. If it wasn't for that, he probably would have still been unhappy with where he was at in his life. But the conceptof "love" was still new to him. "I am curious about something though and it might come off as a weird question, but have you ever loved someone before coming here?" he asked.

"No." Thunderpurr answered immediately, tone surprisingly blank. It was such an easy answer that it was too straightforward. The grey she-cat may have felt things here or there. Companionship, friendliness, a crush. But never love. If you asked her to define it, she'd shrug and talk about hooking up with some cats for fun. All surface level stuff, nothing deep. She didn't know the word for this lack of emotion, and how familiar it was with her family, but she never questioned it.
"Oh," he thought aloud. He shouldn't have asked anyway. It was out of character to question something like that. Or rather, it wasn't a topic of discussion between him and essentially a stranger. Going back into silence, he decided not to say anything further, hoping their time of confinement would be up soon.
