Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Nightmarekit wiped the tears from her eyes and sniffled. "You battle with it too?" She asked, looking back up at the cat who raised her with wide and wet kitten eyes.
Moments of her recent life moved through her mind like ocean waves lapping her memory to the closest corners of her brain. Even in a peaceful land she felt an instinctive fear that any of DayClan's staff would turn on her the way SunClan's would. She was defensive, easy to lash out even at people who were her friend. Trusting others while trying to believe that the curse was over, that the Sun God could not hurt her anymore. Being free to be who she was without fear of consequences and most of all not being afraid to feel.
"It's okay to let the past be a part of your life so long as you don't let that rule who you are. I thought I escaped the Sun God, but really, my past became my God. Now I'm just trying to come to peace with everything, you will too, but I'm plenty of moons old and I'm still trying to be at peace with things. Everyone's journey to find balance in themselves is different, but you will find peace in your inner battles so long as you fight for it," Autumngossamer said softly licking her daughter behind the ear.
