Thistlepaw hissed at the swipe as a claw caught her forehead. It burned. "Why don't you slow down and teach me then," she cried, trying to rush around him and bite at his tail. If she could distract him then maybe Smokecloud would get a good attack in. "How about this?"

Powderkit shrank back at the fighting and the cat who had suddenly appeared in front of her. The chubby calico enjoyed the sound of her voice and the attention but she was hesitant about this cat. "What's the league?" she asked instead, eyes darting toward Mossbreeze. Jetclaw

He was starting to understand his attacker's pattern. A small build, lacking in the power department, but that is compensated with speed and agility. It had been some time since he last fought another cat, his most recent memory being when he was an apprentice-aged loner. Being in mostly diplomatic positions for so long has made him grow soft, it would seem. That couldn't be the case, could it? All he had to do was remember what he learned before and this would be over quickly.

Viperstream clenched his teeth, a nasty grin appearing. There were more pressing matters to attend to. The rush of adrenaline helped block out most of the pain. He was getting annoyed. This cat's a nuisance. Time to end this. With the ginger cat on his back, Viperstream planted his paws and shook vigorously to loosen his assailant's grip. Feeling the cat's weight shift from his back to his side, he used his front legs to propel himself backward, then back forward with his back legs, raking a claw down his flank. It was a satisfying act, seeing flesh tear open and sweet blood trickle do-

Wait. Was he..enjoying this? Viperstream quickly shook the thoughts from his head as he refocused on the task at hand. Luckily for him, though, Ransack was still recoiling from the wound, all the while still cackling. Sick of hearing that twisted sound, Viperstream lunged forward, mouth wide and latched onto the back of tom's neck, sinking his teeth deep. The taste of metal filled his mouth prompting him to tighten his grip further and, with a satisfying pop, broke his neck. Viperstream dropped his lifeless body to the ground.

With that done and over with, he looked around to see if Yarrowsong was nearby. He had been so distracted that he didn't notice that she was taken away to safety. It worried him, but he couldn't search for her now; he needed to help the other. He just had to take solace in thinking that she was out of harm's way.

Finchwatcher's vision began to blur as her body began to shut down from the loss of blood and excruciating pain. The last thing she saw was Thistlestar standing protectively over her and Elyon scrambling as she was barreled over before she finally passed out, unconscious.

Fawnheart's breath was knocked from her lungs as she was suddenly barreled into and shoved into the dirt. Luckily, Sapphiresmoke was there to protect her. Fawnheart would not have been able to fight back until she had caught her breath. Finally, she managed to breathe again and rise to her paws, her creamy fur covered in dust. Just then, she noticed a small shadow looking as if it was trying to hide from the battle. Leaving Sapphiresmoke to fight Ava, the medicine cat limped over to the little cat who seemed to look in distress. "Hey...don't worry, I won't hurt you. I'm a medicine cat. I can help you. Are you hurt?"

Smokecloud nodded. "Don't worry, I have your back." Suddenly, a cat bounded up to them and swiped a paw at Thistlepaw. Luckily, the apprentice shot around him and bit his tail. Smokecloud was then able to grab the Ni's head between his paws and bite down on his ear. He hadn't even noticed the cat that slipped into the nursery.

"Yeow mate!" Ni snarled flailing with his claws trying to twist and bite the paws holding his head down, hissing at the pain from his ear. He also kicked out at Thistlepaw as well.

Softpelt gasped as Veneta spoke. "Oh you poor thing! Fawnheart, I'll keep helping Yarrowsong, you help the poor dear, and hopefully Sapphiresmoke can deal with that aggressor." The white fluffy she cat moved to pick up the cobwebs once more and begin reapplying pressure to Yarrowsong's wounds.

Beside Softpelt and Fawnheart, Ava was thrashing and snarling. Her claws digging into Sapphiresmoke in turn rolling with him on the ground. After recovering from her attack being intercepted she now was locked in fighting with Sapphiresmoke, while Veneta spoke to Fawnheart.

"ALL RIGHT I GET IT GEROFF!" Ni snarled as Smokecloud shoved his head into the ground.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," Ichi grumbled when he saw Ni struggling and San crouching in front of the nursery with his tail waving as the dingus of the trio was talking animatedly to Powderkit trying to coax the kit to come to him.

Ichi shook his head before going over to Ni, grabbing Smokecloud by the shoulders and yanking him off Ni, causing a slight tear in Ni's ear.

"Foxdung Ichi!" Ni yowled as he jerked back from Smokecloud paw going up to his bleeding ear. "You caused him to tear my ear!"

Smokecloud winced when he felt claws on his shoulder, tearing him off of Ni. He bit down harder on Ni's ear so that when he was pulled off, he gave Ni a small tear in his ear. "Awe, did I spoil your good looks?" The scarred faced tom smirked when he rose back to his paws again.

Fawnheart's brows furrowed. "I promise" she responded, resting her tail on Vaneta and led her gently toward the medicine den.

Veneta followed, tail between her legs, eyes darting back and forth, hoping to avoid the aggression of the battling felines. Though, she could tell a pair of sinister eyes were set on the both of them.

Confusion clouded over the furious leader's mind as Elyon spoke, unsure of what it was she was referring to until he follow her line of sight, finding the eye of a cat just short of his own paw. He turned in horror as he realized where it came from and took note of Finchrunner's quiet body. With refueled emotions, the leader snapped his head over in the direction of the PI rouge, a new snarl rippling through the air around them.

"You've made a mistake coming here tonight." Thistlestar threatened, rage boiling in his veins. "You have until now to call off this unnecessary massacre." He called out, staring out at the cats that fought in the clearing, noting as more Springclan warriors showed up to the fight, slowly but effective turning the tides on the ambush. "Your cats are outnumbered here and prolonging this is only prolonging their immediate deaths." His green gaze was narrowed and focused as it trained back onto the rouge she-cat before him who was obviously the leader. As he spoke, Crimsoncrown circled around visibly, threateningly making her way in Elyon direction all while careful in her steps, prepared for any counters the golden she-cat could have.

As San made the decision to back away and retreat, he paused, causing the ex-queen to bristle with anticipation but his words where not directed at her, rather at a kit. She turned her head to find the sight of Powderkit. Mossbreeze's eyed widened with shock "Powderkit, go back to the nursery-" she snarled, looking back to see if any of the queens had even noticed a stray kit. Before the kit could respond Mossbreeze block the kit with her full form, glaring back at San. The rouge was stepped forward, he was too close for comfort. Mossbreeze lunged forward, knocking down the rouge with her full weight all while bouncing back, running to snatch the kit and throw her back in the back of the nursery "Stay back!"

Ava's claws dug painfully into Sapphiresmoke, causing him to hiss outloud. The two tumbled and the story-teller was now in the receiving end of the she-cat's full power. He snarled as he masterfully blocked most of the strikes, but his back legs ached painfully, making it difficult for him to flip the she-cat over. He struggled but managed to hold off most of the she-cat's strikes, avoiding deep wounds but he knew the position was compromising. His sapphire blue eyes dart out in search of aid before turning back to the she-cat and unleashing what strength he had left as he swiped and snapped his jaws at her arms and belly.

Smokecloud felt the claws dig further into his back as he was pushed to the ground. He let out a defiant hiss before a claw swiped his muzzle, feeling the blood trickle from the wound. Hot rage pulsed through him but before he could react, Ni was tackled by Goldengaze. Relieved of having her there to help him. While Ichi still had a hold on his back, Smokecloud decided to launch forward and quickly rolled into a somersault, crushing Ichi beneath him.
